Pat received her Associate in Science degree in Dental Hygiene from St. Petersburg College and is a member of Sigma Phi Alpha, National Dental Hygiene Honor Society. Pat joined our practice in 1993 and has extensive experience in all aspects of dentistry. Pat's passion has always been to focus on patient education and she serves as team hygiene leader and mentor in our practice.
We are located in Delightful Dunedin and are easily accessible from Pinellas and all adjacent counties. We have practiced dentistry in the same location for over 20 years and have enjoyed helping our patients achieve healthy and beautiful smiles. We deliver personalized care with a nurturing attitude.

The staff were very friendly and helpful plus they joked around with me which alleviates the visit to the dentist! I haven't been to or needed a dentist till this week when I broke a tooth. They got me in the very next day! Dr Pou was friendly and all business with the repair! I was done in less than a half-hour! He was fast and efficient! I recommend this dentist! Thanks to everyone in the office for a great visit!

Never had a major issue here until today. As a result of spinal meningitis and degenerative disc disease, I am forced to schedule multiple doctor appointments at a time. I mistakenly double booked an appointment with my spine surgeon and a 2 hour cleaning with Dr Poe's office for the same time. When Poe's office called to follow up on my missed appointment, the receptionist I spoke with was rude and nasty. I have already been here for several procedures but WILL NOT return. Customer service is very important, figure this out, or fail.

I have now been in Dr. Poe's office's care for several visits and could not be happier with the care and thoroughness of my dental procedures. I have had a wisdom tooth diagnosed for extraction, a cavitation on a front tooth repaired and bonded and a two-part scaling and root planing done. Costs and coverage are explained up-front. They will also help to work with you when it comes to out-of-pocket expenses.
But most importantly, they genuinely are concerned about your long-term dental health. I have used other chain dental places in the past that just want to get you in and out. But Dr. Poe and his staff want you to get on a path through self-care as well and they take the time to educate you and offer advice that fits you personally.

Friday 6/22/18- Approximately 2pm- They agreed to "put me in a chair" claimed they were too busy to do an x-Ray even though there was no one in the waiting room and the parking lot had few cars (it was Friday, they close at 4). Dr. Stuart Po looked in my mouth, tapped a few teeth and said "doesn't appear to be an infection". Sent me home with Peridex.
I was feeling a little better just hearing I didn't have an infection. Later that night, the pain and throbbing was excruciating and getting worse. Since I had made an appointment with them for July 5th to start cleanings I figured I'd call the emergency number on their answering system. I left 2 voicemails. By Saturday morning, still no return call.
I ended up going to The Dentist Place in Clearwater, taking me in for 1 simple emergency X-ray. Come to find out I had a severe infection with an abscess. He gave me penicillin and pain meds to get me through until my root canal procedure. I guess Stuart Po was too busy golfing, boating or playing ice hockey, as his website boasts. I have yet to receive a call back.
Today I called the receptionist and canceled my appointment. I asked why no one still has not bothered to call me back! She confirmed the emergency # goes right to Dr. Po's cell phone and she doesn't know why. Wow. The compassion lack there of. And for doing nothing they still made an insurance claim. Needless to say, I have appealed that claim. Buyer beware.
