Disappointed with the scheduling a tooth repair they are rude to you they only work around their scheduling not yours I being with them for over 12 years and they don't care I'm thinking to take my family to somewhere else that they care about your needs.

Price is everything, anyone can clean teeth. I was quoted 140 on the phone prior to the day of the cleaning, then after cleaning was completed they charged me 230 before I asked for my discount, then they only took 15% off. They scammed me, lied to me. Untrustworthy. Never going back without insurance.

Staff members are all very friendly, Dr Joseph is my Dentist and he is the greatest.very friendly they don't rush you in and out. take care of all your needs. The financial staff is also very nice and accommodating.

I got a cleaning done last May at Valley Oak. They decided to split the cleaning into two sessions, each one taking about 20 minutes. However, they charged my insurance for each of those sessions separately. Since my insurance only covers two cleanings per year, for my next scheduled cleaning they pointed out that my insurance was exhausted and I would have to pay out of pocket.

Although they claim it is standard to charge both sessions of a cleaning as separate instances it seems ridiculous that they considered it necessary to split the cleaning into such short sessions and then expect me to pay beyond the insurance coverage. Furthermore, they failed to explain this or give me choices at the time the decision was made.

I always have a superior visit with both my cleaning technician(s) and my Dentist. Dr. Liz is the best -- I have been going to her for over 20 years now, and she has always been excellent in both "bedside" manner and any work I have had to have done -- which is considerable over the years!

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Joseph for your dental needs. He is extremely compassionate, he patiently listens to your concerns, and provides clear feedback & recommendations. He is very gentle and soft spoken. His injections for treatment have been absolutely painless everytime, and he is very good about being discreet with the needle! I've been seeing Dr. Joseph for approximately 6+ years now, and I do not have a single complaint. I drive nearly 1.5 hours just to see him, even after relocating to the East Bay, I'd never go elsewhere! My daughter also sees Dr. El Farra & we absolutely ADORE him.

Awesome Team! Dr. Joseph is an amazing dentist & super professional. I like how he thoroughly explains what needs to be done step by step and how he takes his time with all of his work from beginning to end. I required quite a bit of anesthesia for my dental work and he was extremely gentle and patient, he made sure I was completely numb and fully comfortable before starting in. I highly recommend Dr. Joseph and Valley Oak Dental.

Terrible! Called for an appointment to have my teeth cleaned, which my insurance covers 100%. They failed to correctly identify my insurance policy. Dentist wanted to take x-rays and do exam prior to cleaning. I told him only do what my insurance covers. After the exam office staff came in and told me I owe for exam. I had to argue with them about the charges and what my insurance covers, they eventually figured it out, but had I not known better they would have charged me.

So now after 1 1/2 hours my teeth still haven't been cleaned and they tell me they can't do a cleaning unless I do a "deep cleaning." So now they tell me my insurance covers the "deep cleaning" but it doesn't cover the medicine to do the "deep cleaning" and that I have to pay $108. They refused to do a basic cleaning that my insurance would cover 100%. I will be finding a new dentist. They do have an AWESOME Dental Assistant by the name of Amber, she was great.

From the receptionist to the staff to the dentist, everyone is genuine, caring and happy in what they do. My whole family goes to Valley Oak Dental and we recommend it with a happy heart. I always had a knee-jerk reaction to going to the dentist, but they make you feel at ease and supported.

Valley Oak is by far one of the best dentists around! I just recently started coming here after visiting with my boyfriend for his fillings and was so impressed by the establishment and staff. I have been to plenty of dentists before and have not been accommodated for my anxiety, however Valley Oak is very reassuring and patient with me. I have quite a bit of work that needs to be done with my teeth and not once have I worried about pain or problems with my dental work.

They are thorough and very kind to answer any questions. The office is super clean and sanitary as well. I am currently seeing Dr. Matthews and she is amazing! I plan on staying at this dentist for as long as I can - and I hope this can point other people that struggle as I do in the same direction. Thank you guys for all that you do!
