Valley Dental Center - Ana M Cariaga

Amazing experience from start to finish! I'm completely satisfied with their services. They were very accommodating. I got what I needed done fast, and efficiently without ANY pressure or haggling! No, this is not a paid review! Shots out to the staff, especially Genesa, and Dr. Jo, the other three ladies I apologize I feel horrible for not being able to remember their names but you were all so very, very, kind to me!

As far as prices go they were up front with me before any work was done so idk what the other reviews are claiming. I declined some services, and they were okay with that. After the hygienist worked her magic, my teeth like new! I can't wait to come back for my follow up. I can go on, and on, but I really don't want them to get overcrowded and take away the essence of a great thing they got going on here! If you want solid service then give this place a try.

I Received a bill in the mail about work that has been done without me knowing about it and how much it will cost. If I knew about it I would have said no. I can't afford it.

Beware. They will offer you treatment that you assume will be covered by insurance. No disclosure about additional cost. You will receive a bill later listing services that they supposedly provided that they "didn't know" wouldn't be covered.

Really happy I found Valley Dental! I've never found an office that I've truly enjoyed. This dental office is filled with strong knowledgeable women! They comforted me through every step and educated me along the way. I feel really good about my visit and I'll be recommending this office to everyone!

You get an automated call 2 weeks prior to your appointment, so yes I forgot my cleaning appointment, I was called and asked if I could come in right away which I couldn't. I was charged $25 for no show, I had no problem paying it but they didn't care at all when I said that I won't be returning there. The doctor is very nice and gentle, but I lost the interest to go back there ever again.

I went for a molar pain to the dental office, I was seen within a hour of calling. I went to the Carrey Rd, Walnut office. The receptionest signed me in and as I filled the clinical info was taken for X-rays. These were digital X-rays which take a microsecond to take a picture. A digital X-ray requires less radiation to capture a high-resolution image than the traditional X-rays.

Then I was seen by the doctor Anna Cariaga, she said right away my pain is being caused by spurs which need deep cleaning. Which was done right away. They used micro laser and ultrasound and a lidocaine cream took away all pain. The process was professionally done and half of this was done by dental tech Chu. I was impressed at the professionalism shown during the procedure.

I have been given a follow up in 3 months. I cannot wait to come back. A very professional, friendly office. There was plenty of parink and I got to park under the shade of a tree.

After over 50 years with Valley Dental, I am told after January they will no longer take HMO. It's all a money game in today's society and loyalty means nothing. It's Dr. Cariaga's right to accept whatever insurance she wants, but she should think about grandfathering existing longtime loyal patients, and not accept new HMO's. Very sad to leave Valley Dental, Dr. Cariaga and staff. Wish them well, but time to move on.

Dr. Cariaga is very friendly and makes you feel very welcome. Been coming here for years but now I am having second thoughts. The hygienist Nuvia is very straight forward about using what she thinks is best with her speech she gives to everyone. She's so concerned about having super white teeth and tells you that NOTHING works unless you use Listerine total care mouth wash, Oral-B Black 1000 electric toothbrush, Colgate total toothpaste and reach floss.

She even has you take a picture of her picture on her phone. Never in my life have I had someone from the dental office tell me that I need my teeth whiten so badly. Mind you, I have decent teeth and she literally made it sound like I needed everything done. And when I disagreed with the work she wanted done, she had 2 people come to convince me and negotiate pricing.

To top it off she had the nerve to tell me not to get mad at her. After completing the work, she didn't even say bye or nice meeting you, she rushed off to the next patient right next to me and I can hear her telling them to take the picture on her phone. Worst dental appointment ever, I left extremely upset. Almost forgot to mention, I was forced to leave a yelp comment after I thought I was getting a free complimentary whitening kit by Nuvia but turns out they give it to you in order to get a review on yelp which you have to write in front of an employee before you leave.

Nubia and her assistant Kevin were so nice and showed me all the tools that I needed to keep my clean healthy and WHITE. Dr. Cariaga makes going to the dentist fun! She has been my doctor for years and I 10/10 recommend!

Everyone here is so professional and friendly! I have been coming here for quite some time and I love how well the staff treats me! I would recommend Valley Dental to anyone!

I have the misfortune of requiring multiple visits a year for my teeth. Good thing Valley Dental is very accommodating. They are located in a plaza almost next to Costco. Making appointments is easy, and they send you a text to confirm your appointments, which for me is very helpful. Their dental hygienists are very friendly, but they obviously learned from Dr. Cariaga as she is the friendliest of all.

She would also explain what she is doing and how I can improve on my dental habits. I would definitely recommend people to have their teeth done here. A good plus is that there's a lot of good food nearby.

Valley Dental have cared for the teeth for over 20 years. Going to the dentist has always been a hard "chore" for me, but dental care at this office has always been complete satisfaction. They take care of me. Educated me with personal dental care, and the staff is always happy that I came to them. Dr. Cariaga is both professional and personable. She is also very knowledgeable and smart. Exactly the type of person you want holding a drill and a needle in your mouth.!

Dr. Cariaga and her staff are very welcoming and professional. They make sure that I am comfortable and well attended to my needs. They have a good appointment reminder system to make sure I am on time for my teeth cleaning services. Gives expert opinion and explains the situation well.

I usually don't write reviews on yelp, but I had to make an exception for this place. SERVICE: I've been coming here for years and I always leave satisfied and cared for. The staff is very welcoming and they make me feel comfortable when I am getting my teeth cleaned. There's a good reason why I keep coming back! LOCATION: parking here is easy. They have a huge parking lot. it is conveniently placed right next to Costco and half and half, which is always a nice treat right after a dentist appointment.

Dr. Cariaga is the best. She is gentle and thorough. She explains what she sees and gives advice and tips to insure the continual health of my teeth and gums. All the dental hygienists are beyond kind and friendly and always give the best cleaning! My teeth always look bright and feel clean and healthy. I've been unlucky and have gotten a few cavities, but never felt anything when they were being filled in, which is a huge plus!

The bad reviews for this place seem to center around the admin staff, and I'd have to agree with those reviews. Dr. Carriaga is nice and she does a good job. Even though I don't see her very often, she seems to remember me and what I do for work and she always asks how my business is doing. Little comments like that are a really way of saying that they pay attention to you and are interested in your life outside the office.

That said, I must say that the admin staff could use some training on etiquette. The ladies who sit in the front never smile or greet you when you come in, even when there is no one else there and they don't appear to be busy. Ok, I get it. You're not paid to be friendly. You're paid to do a certain job. Therein lies the other problem.

The first few times I went there, I was quoted a price, but when I went to pay, the price was always higher than what they told me. Something like that happening once in a while is understandable because maybe more work needed to be done than was anticipated. But to have that happen 3-4 times in a row? My teeth aren't that bad, so what gives?

It was a bad experience going to this dental office, starting from making an appointment with Jessica to being seen by their two dentists -Cariaga and Hoang. Jessica is especially rude when dealing with patients. The two dentists gave me the impression that all they care about is making money. Cariaga's arrogant comments made me uncomfortable, while Hoang appeared indifferent when I asked him questions after treatment. After talking to the office manager about Jessica's rudeness, I feel their attitude improved. I hope my feedback will benefit other patients going there.

They checked me in promptly, and were very good at making me feel comfortable. It is a dental office after all! It's refreshing to see clean premises. Everyone is very friendly and smiling. I went in for a cleaning and it was quick and painless. I love how Dr. Cariaga takes the time to get to know her patients. A+++++!
