Our practice specializes in conservative treatment of gum disease, cosmetic procedures to aesthetically enhance your smile, and dental implants that can replace single or multiple missing teeth.
Dr. Habekost is dedicated to excellence in all phases of Dental Implant Reconstruction. Dr. Habekost long ago realized that simply placing a Dental Implant to exacting standards was only part of a process to give patients what they want-a functional, great looking set of teeth! What has been lacking in the field of Dental Implants has been the team approach.
Kim runs our front office and is an RDA. Kim attended San Jose City College Dental Assisting Program in 1980. Kim received her RDA in 1981 and has some medical background. Kim has worked with Dr. Habekost since 1985. She has spent most of her career in Periodontics and Oral Surgery. Kim is a member of DAICP, The American Dental Assistants Association and Kim is licensed by California as a Registered Dental Assistant.
Your referral slip and a FULL-MOUTH SET OF PERIAPICAL RADIOGRAPHS from your referring dentist. Every patient must have a full mouth set of x-rays so Dr. Habekost can do a complete examination. We will take your x-rays at a small additional fee if you do not have one. We use a state of the art digital x-ray system to reduce the amount of radiation (some 90%) and we do not have to develop films.

I had two problem wisdom teeth. I had two other dentists putting me off due to Covid. After weeks of issues, I went to a local dentist that referred me to Dr. Habekost. They mentioned that Dr. Habekost had the best cash pricing available in the area. They extracted two teeth, worked hard to distract me from the procedure and have a comedy routine to make patients feel at ease. GREAT DENTIST!

I had some teeth pulled 3 days ago and although the extraction went smoothly that in no way makes up for the way I was treated and talked to after the procedure. To say extremely rude is an understatement as soon as I woke up from the anesthetic both the receptionist Kim and Dr Habekost ask about my ride and I said he was on the way, they both preceeded to YELL at me because my driver was not there yet, mind you I was still drowsy from the anesthetic and I'm also hearing impaired so you can imagine how confused and upset I was.
I was yelled at for a good 10 min by both telling me to call my ride NOW and put it on speakerphone Dr Habekost then threatened to charge me another $500 for taking up his room. As soon as my friend got there they proceeded to yell at him outside stating that they told him not to leave when they never even talked to him. I told them upon my arrival then my friend was coming back to get me which is why I asked how long the procedure would be, I was given only a piece of paper with at home care no extra gauze or anything else.
I've never in my life been treated so rudely by someone in the medical field. I understand that he has other patients but that in no way justifies treating someone this way especially someone who is hearing impaired.

The worst part was falling out of the chair laughing during the extractions. They had me in stitches alright. They let me eat my caramels and smoke a cigar while they worked on my teeth. That was nice! Kim showed me how to use wire strippers and a bottle opener so I don't have to use my teeth anymore too. I am getting implants so I think they put teeth seeds in the old holes I'm guessing. Looking forward to a crop of new teeth this year. So stop by and get yourself a new row of chompers planted.
