My kids have seen both Dr. Burdette and Dr. Barefield. They both are very nice and patient with the kids. Dr. Burdette's availability is limited, but worth trying to fit into the days that she is available there. We left a dentist in Cedar Hill and I love that Barefield Pediatric has standard dental chairs and semi-privacy for patients. The support staff was nice and patient.

Took my son to this clinic from a referral from his primary dentist. First appointment went well doctor was nice she pointed out the obvious that my 1 year old had cavities and needed to get it treated. He is 1 and would not sit for it in hospital; options were a dye that turns his teeth black but stops the cavity from growing or scheduling and in hospital procedure to treat him under anesthesia.

We needed to think it over. called within 2-3 days to confirm we wanted the hospital option. Learned that it would be a waiting period probably not until January 2022. 4 months from his visit which if fine no other option. Got a call about 2 week after that I needed to go into the office to complete missing documents needed for his hospital procedure. Ok, I asked when was his appointment scheduled for, rep said I was 15 on the list and it wouldn't be until January 2022.

That was it. Never said you have to come in and complete these forms to secure your spot and or to schedule your hospital appt. I called December 13th to follow and get and ETA on his appointment as his teeth are getting worse. Come to find out they never added me because of the missing form and that now as of 2 weeks ago the hospital has new procedures and they are no longer booking the hospital appointments and they are cancelling everyone.

If I wouldn't have called I would have never known my hospital appointment was never scheduled because of missing forms and that now they are canceling anyways because of new procedures. I find this unacceptable because these are children they work with. In my case a 1 year old who needs this treatment and I have been waiting around putting him through more damage thinking Barefield had him covered when they never did. Wasted 3 months waiting around for nothing.

On top of that when I tried to express my concerns and what the issue was the manager was super defensive and then turn the blame on children's hospital. I take ownership for not going back to compete the forms but they never expressed that without those forms I lost my place. I assumed that we didn't need those forms until pre op. That's usually how it works.

They claim to have tried to contact me about it, false went through my entire voicemail from end of Oct to Present and nothing. Take ownership for your mistake and be better. Never going back and will share my concerns with my sons primary doctor in hopes of stopping them from sending their patients to this clinic. Parents find another place your children will thank you.

The front staff was very rude I'm not going to this dentist anymore

My son has been going here since he was 12 months old! Today was his last visit. He's now 17 and Graduating to an adult dentist. We've enjoyed every one of these last 17 yrs! They will All be Missed!

I've been taking my son to the dentist for years now. Love the set up during this time during Covid. Love the service that we have received during this time! Highly recommend it.

When you first walk into the doors of Barefield Pediatric Dentistry you feel the warmth and you are always greeted by a person who cares about your child. My daughter has been a patient since she was 2. She is now 12. She loves going to the dentist. I HIGHLY recommend Barefield Pediatric Dentistry.

My daughter has been going here for over 6 years. We always have a great experience. The staff is very friendly. The facility is warm and inviting. We are definitely pleased with the care of service we receive.

I have 4 adult children ages 18-26. Each of my children were pediatric clients of Dr. Barefield. We found Dr. Barefield and her staff to be very polite and highly professional. Their services were administered in a pain-free manner. Additionaly, their fees are very affordable! :

My 3 children had their first visit at Dr. Barefield's office. We had been seeing another dentist for the passed 4 years. The kids didn't mind the transition and they were happy to have an area dedicated just for them in the lobby and to get a special prize at the end of their dental visit. I appreciate how the staff treated me and my husband. The assistants and hygienist were patient with my 1 yer old baby. I would certainly recommend BPD to any parent who is looking for a nice and honest dentist. I am a satisfied customer.

My kids have been seeing Dr Barefield their entire life and we love it! My kids actually like going to the dentist! The staff is always friendly, there is never a long wait and my kids always feel at ease.

As a kid I went to Dr. Barefield to provide her loving touch for my teeth. Now that I am grown and a mother, I didnt second guess who my child's dentist would be. It was great pleasure for my child to go where I once went. When I came into the office it felt like home again and when I seen Dr. Barefield, she welcomed me and my chlid into her office as if I never left.

The good thing about her, she tended to my child as if my child was her child. I would recommend Dr. Barefield every chance I get. She and her staff are awesome and wonderful.

As a nurse, I used to work in a children's recovery unit. That is where I first met Dr. Barefield, I was so impressed with how she cared for her patients that when my oldest turned a year old, Dr. Barefield is who I took her to see. She is now almost 15, and refuses to see any other dentist, my son feels the same! I have always been impressed with Dr. Donna and her staff and truly believe you are putting your child's dental care in capable, loving hands!

My children receive excellent care and truly enjoy their dental visits. The office and Dr Donna seem to truly love kids and what they do. And in doing so, they have transformed a trip to the dentist (which can induce angst in most adults) into a fun and enjoyable outing.

My child is deathly afraid of ALL doctors - except Dr. Barefield. Our first trip to the dentist I think I was more worried than she was, but the open happy atmosphere immediately put her at ease (and me too). Our dental hygienist was GREAT. Happy and personable and she explained everything she was going to do BEFORE she proceeded with the cleaning.

Overall this was by far the best doctor experience we have had to date. My daughter walked away asking when can she go back. Thank you Barefield Pediatric Dentistry for your awesome service and for making this a great experience for my little one.
