Dr. Jeff Powell grew up in Sherwood and graduated from Sylvan Hills High School. He earned a B.S. in Biology from Lyon College and a D.D.S. from Baylor College of Dentistry. He has practice family and cosmetic dentistry in Sherwood since 1998. Dr. Powell is a member of the Sherwood Rotary Club, and currently serves on their Board of Directors.
Dr. Powell is dedicated to providing high-quality dental care to children, adolescents, and adults. Using state-of-the-art technology, we are able to treat everything from the smallest cavity to crowns, bridges and implants. I've been seeing Dr. Powell as my dentist for several years now and I always have a great experience there.
Dr. Jeff Powell has been a life-long Star Wars fan. Over the past several months, the unused conference room at his office has been transformed into a Star Wars themed - "Hyperspace Room." This has been a dream project for Powell ever since he moved into his current office on Keihl Avenue. The conference room, directly off the office's reception room, was the perfect "blank canvas" to do something fun. The project was designed by Josh Anderson and his team from Anderson Entertainment Arts, which specializes in theatre sets and production design.
Botox can be used to relax the muscles of the upper face to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Dr. Powell uses his gentle injection technique to achieve amazing, but natural-looking results. Botox Cosmetic targets one of the underlying causes of frown lines and crow's feet-the repeated muscle contractions from frowning and squinting over the years.

Absolutely changed my smile, and continues to do so. Before I came here I smiled showing no teeth, now I smile as big as I can every chance I get. The picture here shows only the temporary front tooth and is even better looking now. Melissa was great, easy to talk to and she hummed some of the songs which was an ease to my mind during the process(I'm sure she didn't even realize). Dr. Powell killed it and also has a great personality. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Dr. Powell since he started practice 20+ years ago and theres not enough words to be spoken about this wonderful, gentle, amazing, professional dentist and staff. Talented and amazing for pretty much reconstructing my whole mouth from veneers to bridges to crowns that was in much need of TLC. Theres nothing he cannot perform and make you feel 120% about it. Wonderful family man and so involved in community and really cares for his patients and his staff. truly amazing dentist that no other dentist can top!

Very pleasant visit- totally different from past experiences. I've always been petrified of having my teeth worked on. Dr. Powell and his staff changed all that for me. Plus he gave me a smile to be proud of. It had been over 40 years since I would smile big enough to show my teeth. Thank you Dr. Powell, I may or may not have cried a little bit when I saw the awesome work you did. I appreciate you so much!

I look forward to my visits because the office is beautiful and clean. The staff is professional and friendly. Dr Powell knows what he is doing; yet, he does not try to railroad you into expensive dental procedures. He give honest dental guidance and allow the patient to make a choice. He has integrity and skill that I trust.

Dr. Jeff Powell is an excellent dentist. He takes his time with you and listens to your concerns. His office staff is professional and personable as well as caring. His dental staff is very knowledgeable and competent. I leave with a smile knowing that my dental needs have been addressed and met to my satisfaction.

Had a horrible experience with this dentist. Staff was friendly. However, Dr. Powell was the rudest most inconsiderate dentist i have ever been too. He gave the impression that he could care less about his patients. He seemed more interested in getting home to his wife than treating the needs of his patients. Would NOT EVER recommend him to anyone.

Best dentist and staff in the world. I have always been terrified of dentists and appointments, but after becoming Dr. Powell's patient, no longer scared. They are able to take that fear away and make you feel like family. Dr. Powell has a magical personality that makes you feel like you've known him all your life. He just lights up a room. All of his staff are just the same. They treat you like you are their only patient in the whole world. You cannot find a better dentist. Period. Not even in a galaxy far, far away!
