Strand Dental Care

My whole family goes here. They are great with kids, especially getting my daughter comfortable during her first visit

It has been about ten years since I last saw a dentist. It's embarrassing and I was extremely anxious about what they would find during my exam. I was also slightly worried that there would be some "dental shaming" or a lecture about hygiene habits. Not at all. I needed a tooth pulled which I was already aware of. The office upon entering is extremely nice. Decked out waiting room, just everything was nice and had a calming effect.

It also instilled a feeling of confidence in their practice. My exam was done by Nicole and she definitely gets five stars. She knew I had some anxiety about the exam and could read how I was feeling and did an extremely good job at keeping me cool and very informed, her outgoing upbeat personality relaxed me a lot. Dr. Hubbard pulled my tooth and did an extremely good job at it.

She made 110% sure that I was numb and would feel no discomfort during the extraction. She kept me well informed throughout the process about anything I might feel or experience so that I wasn't caught off guard. Her assistant, whom unfortunately I cannot recall her name, was also very nice and helpful. The only negative part of this experience I had, and I only say this so that no one else has this happen, was I did not realize that the "patient portion" of the billing was due as soon as you are done, before you leave.

It's my own fault, or lack of visits to a dentist that this happened. I did not have any way of paying, obviously they let me leave and told me I had to be pay it before they would schedule my future visits. I totally understand this policy and how it is probably frustrating trying to collect from patients and not getting what they are rightfully owed and did notice after the fact they have a sign stating this policy exactly.

However I left feeling a bit sad or guilty. They were so nice to me did such a great job and it made me feel a bit like I was cheating them even though I intend on paying it tomorrow when I receive my paycheck. That being said west lakes dentistry is a great place 10/10, five stars, two thumbs up! Oh yeah there are TV's on the ceiling when your on the chair. Awesome.

The people here we kind and very helpful when it came to an emergency tooth pain. They listened to me, fit me in for an appointment, and had me scheduled for a tooth extraction within a week. They gave me all the meds necessary to keep me out of pain, and to keep it from getting worse. I'm very grateful for their services! They were wonderful! And again, thank you!

My first visit was professional, positive, and so thoroughly productive! I was completely impressed from the x-rays to the dentist's evaluation and recommendations.

Dr Hastings & Lisa we're absolutely the best! They took the time to ask questions- and they listened to me-making sure I was comfortable and understood the process every step of the way. I highly recommend West Lakes Dentistry - they know how to treat people - from walking in the front door- Kirstie & Brittni - very friendly & welcoming- to Lisa & Dr Hastings- I arrived early they saw me earlier than my appointment- I left feeling - Wow! What a great place- start to finish!

Taylor is the best dental hygienist I've ever had! She does a wonderful cleaning while also being engaging, and is very gentile. Dr. Miner is great and has great recommendations for dental treatments. I am so glad my friend recommended this office!

The staff really cares about you. They are all about making you feel comfortable. The high technology of having a TV on the ceiling is absolutely the best. Who does not like to watch TV when your in the Dentist chair. I have been to my share of Dentist's office's, they are Truly the Best!. I personally would highly recommend them to everyone: 5 Star Recommendation

This was my first experience at West Lakes Dentistry and it was a very positive one! First, the staff was warm and inviting. I did not have a long wait and my providers were in a good mood, even at the end of the day. Their explanations were thorough and easy to comprehend. The building was well decorated and clean. The team at West Lakes Dentistry is awesome! From my initial phone call to schedule my first appointment to the appointment itself everything was so personable. My dental hygenist was friendly and nice. Best of all, she was gentle on my teeth and gums during the check-up, always making sure I was comfortable. We LOVE this home town dentist. The Dr's and Hygienists are the best! They remember my whole family and offer a personalized experience everytime we go. They are also very AMAZING with my child with special needs, so calm and patient with him. It takes a special group of people to be so understanding and caring. It's always impeccably clean and inviting when you walk in the front doors and the front office staff is truly wonderful as well. I can't recommend them enough.
