Family Dental Center Of Green Bay - Eric Ulve

Wish I could do 0 stars. I've never felt so horrible for putting my son through an experience. I could write and incredibly long post but I'll keep it relatively short. Not only did they insult both my husband and myself, but my son too, by saying he didn't have proper cognitive understanding. He's 3 and I'm a stay at home mom so I'm with him literally 24/7 and most of his life has been during COVID so he's not used to people and going places, and apparently it was "not normal" for him to want me in the room with him during his appointment, he cried so hard he broke blood vessels in his face and they never told us, he just came out like that after the appointment was over.

They put him through all of that and we're even able to finish the procedure properly, they decided to give us a new treatment that would cost just as much money, but they have to go back and redo which will cost just as much money again! They give you treatment breakdown with little explanation of it and just expect you to know what the terminology on the statement is.

We also confirmed we paid the entirety of our bill when we left his appointment and we're then sent a paper copy in the mail with a late fee! Both my son and I are traumatized and we will advise everyone we know to never go to them and I recommend you don't as well.

Our son Max, who is less than 2 years old, visited the office today for his first dental appointment. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Dr. Heidi was very thorough and the hygienist was so kind and patient with my son (who wasn't thrilled to be there). Highly recommend Dr. Heidi and her staff. We've been going to their practice for our entire family for many years.

The Hygienist, Laurie, was not cautious when it came to flossing and I was afraid she was going to pull my crowns off. She also kept poking my tongue with the laser she was using to clean my teeth. I think she needs more practice? Dr. Ulve is great though.

I have been a patient at FamilyDental for 9 years. Dr Ulve is a fantastic dentist. He always s vey friendly, and listens to me. He takes time and looks at all the details of my care at FamilyDental. Kate has been my hygienist for 9 years as well. She is a great hygienist! Friendly, good at what she does. She has a lot of experience. She has been working at her profession for 29 years. Anyone that asks me who do I recommend for dental care for the whole family? I say the best choice is FamilyDental. Jim Kleist

So happy with the care I received here today. Karen did a wonderful job explaining what she was doing and being gentle throughout the whole process. I was even offered a blanket since it can get chilly while you're sitting there. Front office staff is very friendly and checking out is so easy and fast even when you have a co pay due.

Dr. Heidi is great. She very clearly and respectfully explained our daughter's dental issues and our options for dealing with them. Other places we've been focus too much on games and gimmicks for the kids, but our experience at GBFD focused on communication and health. We're happy to have our kids there.

Friendly. The dental cleanings I have had are nice and gentle instead of rough. I had a crown put in, and was very happy with the results. They matched it very well to my old tooth.

Great atmosphere with quality service. Upfront pricing that makes you feel comfortable, while taking care of all your dental needs.

Worst place ever! Dr Ulve promises certain pricing and then goes back on his word and puts you in collections. I couldn't afford what he wanted to do so wouldn't do anything but charge a lot of money in which I refused to pay. Actually sent a letter stating to go somewhere else. Took x-rays I didn't want unless my insurance covered them. They weren't covered so charged me which again not paying for. Very rude and unprofessional! Would not recommend this place to anyone!

Broke one of my front teeth and Dr Ulve was fabulous once again. Dr and his assistant, Mercedes, were both very kind and did a wonderful job restoring my tooth. Just in time for Christmas pictures. Thanks very much. You were life savers. Enjoy the holidays - now I can, too.

Friendly, and efficient. They don't push unnecessary procedures or fills like other places have in the past. They talk through x rays and exams and help you understand options/treatment plans if necessary.

I recently was in search of a reputable and friendly dental facility, and I came upon Green Bay Family Dental and I must say they, the people that are associated with Green Bay Family Dental were outstanding, friendly and professional. Would I vouch for there workmanship absolutely, and without hesitation, they are definitely a family friendly establishment. Thank you

Dr. Heidi and my kids hygienist Heather are wonderful. My 5 year old twins are never scared to go in for there appointment by themselves. They make their visit less scary and always come out with a big smile on there faces. I know they are getting wonderful care. They are very knowledgeable and explain everything very thoroughly when you have any questions! Thank you for the terrific dental care for my children.

We've been going to Dr. Heidi for over 7 years now and couldn't be happier! My boys are comfortable going back without me. The staff is clearly skilled working with kids. I appreciate the communication after the appointment is over with Dr Heidi personally. We definitely recommend!

Always prompt with very little wait time in the lobby area. Staff is extremely friendly and caring. Dr Ulve is incredible! My whole family has been coming for years. I highly recommend this dentist to anyone looking!

Timely appointments, friendly staff, comfortable environment, and self-employed dentists who are most invested in providing the best experience for their customers

Nice people but charging each patient $25 for PPE during Covid is criminal. Asked to have that removed and they wouldn't. You can't go through enough PPE that $25 should be charged per patient. Let's do the math on that. Let's say they see 10 patients per day, that's $250 per day in PPE charges. $1250 per week, or $5,000 per month. That's for just 10 patients per day. Way to gouge on Covid, Green Bay Family Dental. We won't be back.

RACIST DOCTORS, TREAT THEYRE STAFF LIKE DOGS. NO RESPECT. MAKES FUN OF ME BECAUSE OF MY FINANCIAL POSITION. My husband, daughter, and I went to Green Bay Family Dental on Development Dr. I highly recommend them! I was on edge about my daughter getting her first cleaning at 1.5 and how she'd handle everything. My husband took her in and the staff knew how I was feeling (I was apprehensive and nervous). Dr Heidi took the time to come on the other side of. the clinic just to update me on how she did and some of the stuff moms should know.

My husband was also telling me that the staff was playing with the baby while he did paper work to get checked in and that they were really good with her. (I was getting my teeth cleaning and then my husband went after I was done). Mine and my husbands teeth are completely clean and my daughter was perfectly comfortable (even if she was all over the place and wild ) Thank you GBFD for giving us an amazing experience. It was probably the best dental experience I've ever had for myself. and my family.

After going here for quite a few years I've never been so disappointed in a dentist office! I came to a letter stating they are no longer going to treat me as a patient because I won't follow their recommended treatment plan which would cost over $2,000.00. I'm sorry but being a single Mom I don't have money like that and it's not affordable for me Crap thing to do! They did say, however, I can see them for emergency services only over the next 90 days while I find a new dentist. NO THANKS! BEWARE AND GO ELSEWHERE UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY

Friendly staff and lovely facility! No one in our family ever has anxiety about going the dentist. We recommend!

The staff at Green Bay Family Dental is ALWAYS fantastic. It is so obvious that they care about you and are invested in the treatment they are providing. Their frontline staff is extremely knowledgeable and have always been able to answer my insurance and cost questions. I love the low pressure, calming atmosphere here. I cannot imagine going anywhere else.

Dr. Heidi, Dr. Eric and their staff are the best! I never experience any anxiety like I have with other dentists! Very skilled and always smiling! Best ever!

I have enjoyed all of the visits that I've had at Green Bay Family Dental. They have always been nice to deal with. On 10/10 of this year I cracked a tooth pretty well, called in just after 8am to see if they could help and they were able to get me in before lunch. All of this to deal with a crown! Thank you for being able to see me in such short notice!

Dr. Heidi Eggers-Ulve and her staff are super sweet and very caring about children's dentistry! Highly recommend!
