The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) certification process signifies a unique achievement-a significant step beyond the two to three years of advanced education required for a dentist to become a specialist in orthodontics. The process requires the orthodontist to demonstrate accomplishments in patient care with detailed case reports on the treatment provided for a broad range of patient problems.
Upon your arrival at Longmont Orthodontics, you will be asked to fill out a health history. To expedite your appointment, you can fill this out prior to coming in. The cost of treatment depends upon the patient's individual needs and treatment plan. Our treatment coordinator will discuss fees and payment options during the initial exam, if treatment is recommended. We have different payment options to accommodate your budget, and we work with most insurance plans.
Our staff members will spend significant time reviewing care for braces, and what to expect after braces are placed. A patient may experience general soreness. When braces are initially put on, the mouth and teeth may feel tender for up to a week or two. Ibuprofen, acetaminophen, or other over the counter pain medication may be taken to relieve discomfort.

I highly recommend Longmont Orthodontics for anyone needing orthodontic care in the area. Their office provides excellent service and I appreciate how effectively they communicate with patients. Kathy at the front desk is so kind and scheduled us promptly, Nancy is very professional and friendly, and Dr Melissa is extremely knowledgeable and has a warm bedside manner. 5 stars for Longmont Orthodontics!

Longmont Orthodontics LLC are amazing! I found them online and liked the reviews I had seen. My son, who is visiting from Germany, had a wire pop out the night before having to fly back and they were able to take the time to see him first thing in the morning. We were in the office less than 10 minutes and they were incredibly friendly and accommodating.
The few staff we encountered along the way were super nice and all had smiles on their faces. Also to note how incredibly clean and well lit the office was. Really welcoming. I would highly recommend Dr. Melissa Venrick and her staff to everyone.

I love Longmont Orthodontics! I got braces when I was 8 years old, I am now 21, and still get compliments on my teeth ALL the time. Everyone who works here is so kind and seriously such a joy to be around. 10/10. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. This is the place you want to go for any Ortho needs, you wont regret it. :

I definitely recommend Longmont Orthodontics, the office of Dr. Melissa Venrick. She and her staff are absolutely amazing! Everyone really cares about you and making your smile perfect. I started my Invisalign journey a year ago and I couldn't have been more impressed with the treatment. I didn't realize my teeth were that crowded and shifted after 26 years of no braces. Yes, this was technically Round #2, but your teeth do/can move after so many years.
And it's ok, you just call Longmont Orthodontics today and Dr. Melissa and her staff will take the best care of you! Whatever you do, don't go through these "cheap" online teeth straightening programs as they may straighten your teeth (maybe?), but they will not fix your bite which is a must in orthodontic treatments. I promise you'll be happy just making this place your first and last stop.

We love Dr. Venrick and her staff! They are fantastic. We have used them for our children's orthodontia for the last several years, and even though there are several offices that are closer to us, we choose to drive the half hour to her office.they are just THAT GOOD! Excellent communication with our family dentist, great communication from the office staff (Kathy is wonderful) and the orthodontic assistants are knowledgeable and compassionate. Highly recommend them.

Melissa did an outstanding job on my braces. All of my retainers were made perfectly. Having to have implants, the spacing was perfect for those. Melissa genuinely cares about her patients and doing an excellent job. She even came to her office on a Saturday afternoon to fix my braces! Overall, zero complaints and a great orthodontic practice!
