Worst customer service experience I have ever received. I was a patient of 15 years but I am going to pick up my dental records and never come back. After several months and over a dozen attempts by phone and email to speak to a manager, I was finally able to reach one. It's obvious that she could care less so I paid the bill that was almost twice what I was quoted and told her to have a nice day. This used to be a great dental practice but the management is pathetic now. I don't think the doctor's have any idea how bad it really is.

The technician and dentist were both outstanding. The front desk staff was very friendly, but one of the procedures they have you do is unnecessary and stupid. Since it has been six months since my last visit, I had to fill out a paper copy of all my information (which they have on file and hasn't changed for years). All that should be done is for them to print out a copy and have you verify that the info hasn't changed or make any corrections. If it wasn't for unneeded paperwork, I would have given 5 stars. Computers are a common thing now - use them to make your client's time at the business more pleasant.

Recently my handicapped son needed a filling in one of his back teeth. Dr. Todd Cooper was great! He was very patient with my son and made sure my son was not frightened in anyway. Dr. Cooper listened to my concerns and made this experience a smooth one. I plan to keep Dr. Cooper as my son's dentist.

Both my husband and I have been patient's at Tidewater Dental for many years. I have been very happy with the care I've received. As of late however, we have felt inundated with paperwork to complete before being seen by a practitioner at each visit and find this practice rather ridiculous if the information remains unchanged from the previous visit.
It consumes enough time that I am unable to complete it prior to being called in by the hygienist and it's a scramble to finish before cleaning commences. Surely, asking a simple question regarding changes since the last visit would suffice.

Every new fiscal year for the last 5 years going here, we have had to fill out paperwork as if we are new patients. That is truly annoying, they should have it set like our Doctors office where the paperwork is presented out with our information and if nothing has changed, sign the pages. It would be 3 stars due to the botched crown they did for me 3 years ago, but the new pediatric dentist is absolutely amazing. Not to mention the new staffing they have is far more approachable then before the pandemic. They also offer on-site nitric, which is great of you have a child with anxiety.

Have received routine care at TD past 5 yrs. In general fair dental health is maintained. Front office staff is efficient, prepared and professional. No major issues. Recently, I received, 3 consecutive appointments in early morning. All well with check in. Dr. Finnegan, demonstrated appropriate intervention and established good pt-provider rapport and positive mutual communications. Today, I received a deep cleaning from Debra. Again, my compliments to her on great job and her efficiencies.
One observation that I raise is the office decorum is inconsistent with the expectations of a professional services provider. I base this observation on 3 different related events. (1) on several occasions during my office visits while in the dentist chair, I can hear someone on staff laughing loudly and uncontrollably. This occured 2 days in a row and is unsettling.
Working in a medical professional setting requires emotional intelligence and respect for the patient experience. (2). Additionally, while in the chair another staff member came into chat about her dryer and outside the office issues with the Hygienist working in my mouth. It's as if I wasn't there. After 2 min. I had heard enough and politely and tactfully stated that I was getting a headache and she was talking too loud.
She finally left. This staff member disrupted my visit and was a obvious distraction. Furthermore, she violated my reasonable right to privacy. I've never seen this before in any professional setting.

Upon entering to leaving I was greeted by friendly, helpful and professional people. Great atmosphere, fantastic medical team and friendly staff. I had a lot of questions for my procedure and the dentist and assistant took his/her time answering my questions. Everything was explained prior to the next step so I knew what to expect. Positive experience and would recommend Tidewater Dental.

I had not been to the dentist in a very long time. After my initial consolation where full X-rays and a check up of the health of my teeth was done, I needed a deep cleaning. Which I was very lucky that's was all I needed. I was treated with such care. It was all around a great experience, especially for someone who had not seen a dentist is such a long time.
The office is very clean, the staff is very friendly and the dentist/ hygienist are very compassionate and caring. All around a very great experience and I would 100% recommend!
