Crowns and bridges are used to restore and enhance teeth that are damaged, or to take the place of missing teeth. A crown, also referred to as a cap, is used to entirely cover a damaged tooth. A crown not only strengthens a tooth, but it can dramatically improve a tooth's appearance, shape and alignment.
A dental cleaning is a professional cleaning you receive from a dentist or dental hygienist. Most dental cleanings take only between 25 and 30 minutes. Cleanings should be performed every six months to prevent excessive plaque buildup. Plaque left untreated can lead to unhealthy gums and tooth decay.
A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. There are two types of dentures available, including partial and complete dentures. Partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain, while complete dentures are used to completely replace all teeth. Dentures are made to resemble your natural teeth so there should be no noticeable change to your appearance.

I highly recommend Dr. Bowns and his staff! During quarantine my daughter had an abscess and was immeduately seen by Dr. Bowns. They were open for emergencies and very safe during her appointment. My husband and I had appointments for cleanings as soon as they opened up for regular patients. The office was outfitted to protect patients, from social distancing to fever checks, plexiglass, extra masks, rinsing with hydrogen peroxide, all which helped keep us safe and healthy. The hygenists are wonderful as well as his office staff! We are happy we found Johns Creek Dental Care and will be using them well into the future!

Dr Bowns and his staff are always welcoming and nice about anything that you need when it comes to all things teeth. Started going there after moving to the area and it's been a great experience for our entire family. The front desk staff is always friendly and take extra care to get you accommodated into the schedule - unheard of these days in Doctor's offices these days. very accommodating of schedules and needs. Dr Bowns has so many of my teeth issues - always gentle and to the point and after a major process has many times even called personally to check if i am doing alright. And even remindsme to call on his cell in case there are any problems. Their combined attitude towards the patients is just so rarely found these days.

I have been going to Johns Creek Dental Care for more than 16 years and I have never once had a bad experience. The hygienists are amazing and they make me feel so comfortable. Through all of the changes I've been through with my mouth (braces, baby teeth, wisdom teeth, grinding, etc.), they have been adaptable and always give me the best cleaning and procedures I could expect from the dentist. Even when I had fillings for cavities when I was younger and scared about the procedure, I never felt like they neglected my needs. Lots of love for the staff here!

Dr. Bowns and his staff are always very sincere, caring and very friendly and ensure a wonderful dental experience for my entire family. They schedule routine visits for our entire family simultaneously and that saves us time considering all our busy schedules. Dr. Bowns and his staff are always courteous, friendly and ensure a positive dental experience not only for myself but for my entire family. Myself and my three children are able to simultaneously go in for routine visits, which is a huge help for families (such as ours) with busy schedules. I also know that when we go to the dentist, the check up is thorough and if there are any issues, they will be dealt with in a professional manner. Highly recommend Johns Creek Dental Care!
