Sedation Dentist - Landmark Dental - Dr. Livshin

I had two teeth removed at Landmark Dental with great results. The dentist is fantastic and better then an oral surgeon.

Today was my first visit. I have so much anxiety over seeing a dentist, to the point where I was in tears(and on the verge of an anxiety attack all day) when I arrived. The lovely woman who took me into the room(I am terrible with names).was so gentle and caring and made sure I was comfortable. I have never had a dentist allow me to take a break with the bite wing x-rays. and try to do his job to get the best x-rays, but also make sure I was comfortable.

By the end of my first visit today, I was overwhelmed, but my anxiety had gone down quite a bit. Dr Livshin, I am actually looking forward to getting my dental health back on track!

Dr. Livshin and his staff are amazing! I was terrified to go to the dentist and did not go for many, many years. It came to a point where I was so embarrassed to smile and could barely chew because my teeth were so bad. I finally got up the nerve to schedule an appointment with Dr. Livshin because I had heard and read so many good things about him.

I was so happy he was able to offer sedation dentistry which I knew I would need. I ended up needing dentures. Dr. Livshin and his staff went over the necessary work with me as well as pricing. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Livshin with his kind and compassionate demeaner. I am now happy to report that I have beautiful dentures connected to 8 implants and they are beautiful. Now I can't stop smiling. If you are afraid of the dentist please make an appointment with Dr. Livshin you will be so happy you did!

Dr. Livshin, Pat, and every hygienist I have seen has been incredible. I have crippling anxiety around dentistry. For the last year I have been going to them and struggled to make it in for my fillings but kept going for my cleanings. I am at a point now where I am ready to do my fillings through one of Dr. L's sedation methods. Dr. Livshin and all the staff have never made me feel bad for taking my time and have been nothing short of compassionate, skilled, and beyond kind.

I drive 2 hours to go to him and I will continue to do so because it's BEYOND worth it. They are helping me face my dental anxiety and work through it! Doing this helps my oral health and my overall confidence so they are doing more than dentistry, they are changing people's lives

Dr. Livshin and all the staff at Landmark Dental are simply the best. They are kind and compassionate especially with folks that are very anxious to be at the dentist (like myself). Thanks to the sedation options, I have been able to receive my care with less worry and my anxiety goes down each time I go! They are changing my life, and many others lives, in a beautiful way and I am eternally grateful for this team of people!

Also I have had a lot of work completed and Dr. Livshin and Pat have worked hard to see me even on a short notice if I have had any questions or concerns arise! Highly recommend!

I have always had overwhelming dental phobia and anxiety. Dr. Livshin is the kindest, most caring and patient dentist I have ever been to. I feel completely comfortable and taken care of in his care. Any work I ever need done will definitely be done here.

Dr Livshin is a kind, gentle, and conscientious dentist who operates equally with great skill and great integrity. He sets the mark for what the standard of care ought to be. Having seen my fair share of dentists, I will only see Dr. Livshin and his team for my dental/oral health. I also insist that my family sees him as well because I trust him completely with me and my loved ones. Sitting in a dental chair is not easy for many people, including myself, but I feel at ease with Dr. Livshin. Even though his office is quite out of my way I will gladly drive 30 miles to be taken care of by him and his wonderful team.

Dr Livshin is by far the best dentist/ oral surgeon I've ever been to! He's kind, gentle and very knowledgeable! I had put off a dental implant; just thinking about what it entailed. Dr. Livshin is compassionate and gentle, as well as very skilled offering one-stop-shop for routine and surgical dental needs. The dental hygienist, Robin, is by far the BEST I have ever had clean my teeth. The staff are very detail oriented and clearly explain all billing and insurance issues.

I never write Yelp reviews but this place is legit the best. They are always so nice and efficient (literally everyone that works there), and explain everything that they are doing to the point where I know more about how my teeth work. I went as a college student and still go there. I always am in a good mood after leaving and they just go out of their way to be helpful. They are just very good at what they do and it's impressive. I totally recommend!

Landmark Dental is a great place to have any dental work completed. Dr. Livshin is a great dentist. He is kind and extremely knowledgeable. His team is up to date on all the latest technology, and is friendly and professional at all times. I, like many others, am not a fan of having dental work completed, but feel blessed that when I do, I am in competent hands. I highly recommend Dr. Livshin for anyone having anxiety when it comes to dentistry. The experience has always been positive, and I believe he supplies a tremendous service.

Dr. Livshin is simply the BEST Dentist I have even encountered. I had such a fear/anxiety of Dentists in the past that I just stopped going for over 10 years! Most of the dentists I've gone to in my life were just so abrupt, non-interested and just had a bad bedside manner, especially when I would tell them I had a fear of dentistry. I cracked my tooth and was in major pain and needed to see a dentist.

I saw that Landmark Dental specializes in sedation dentistry. From the second I met Dr. Livshin I totally felt at ease. He was very understanding and listened to me and was concerned about helping me. He explained in detail what my options were and what the best plan was going to be as well as answering all my questions no matter how trivial and borderline silly. Dr L and I came up w/ a game plan so I had an extraction, tooth implant and a filling, something I thought I would never ever been able to get w/ my anxiety. ALL w/ no pain! Vera at the front desk staff was very knowledgeable and worked w/ my insurance to make sure I knew what the cost would be to not get any surprise charges.

If there is anyone out there who is afraid/fearful of the dentist I would tell them to call Landmark Dental, my only regret is I didn't go to see him years earlier. Dr L is the best of the best!

Landmark Dental is by far the best, most professional and genuine dentist office I have ever been a part of. From someone that always feared the dentist growing up and still as an adult. Landmark Dental, Dr. Livshin and his staff completely remove that fear. I enjoy going to get my teeth cleaned and any other services needed by this team. They truly care about your happiness and making sure your teeth are taken care of. If you are looking for a great dentist, this is the office for you!

I am so lucky to finally find a dentist that I can trust and takes such good care of me. Dr. Livshin got me out of pain first and then found a way to make my teeth healthy and beautiful. Dr. Livshin and his staff are the BEST! He is, in my opinion, an awesome dentist that my husband and I trust completely with our family's dental care. I have never left his office without his efficient front desk staff making sure I know exactly what is planned for my next visit and how much it will cost me.

In all the years that I have known Dr. Livshin, he has always patiently answered all my questions, and has even called me back personally when I forgot to ask him something until I got home. What I like the most is that Dr. Livshin makes sure that I understand what he has recommended, why I need the treatment and what my choices are.

I've had the pleasure of having Dr Livshin as my dentist for many years and I would highly recommend his practice to anyone! When I first went to see him, I wasn't someone who smiled a lot because of the condition of my teeth. I'm extremely happy with the work that Dr Livshin did with my teeth and now I have no hesitation about smiling widely!

Dr Livshin is very kind caring dentist for whom the best of interest of the patient is always a priority. From My own experience I can definitely vouch for his honesty and integrity. He is very conscientious about his case selection and always aiming for the best outcome for his patients. Five star dentist all the way. Do not hesitate to call his office if you need to fix your mouth.

So I had terrible toothache this past weekend. The pain was so bad I could barely function. I sent Dr L an email Sunday to see if I could make an appointment for Monday. About 30 minutes later my phone rings and it's Dr L. He asked me to tell him what was going on and that he would fit me in on Monday. Dr L truly cares about his patients. I was so pleased that he called me back, , and on a Sunday!.

I got the tooth pulled today and I'm telling you it was pain free. He is an amazing Dentist, nice guy and I will be a patient for life. outstanding job! And by the way if I could give more than five stars I would. Thanks for reading. Mike

1. I would like to make it clear that I did not visit the office, so I am not commenting on the dentist's skills/care. 2. This comment is about the front-desk staff. I was very excited about their Groupon deal. So I called to schedule an appointment, telling them that I was using the Groupon. It was pretty difficult to make an appointment because I got one for two weeks later, and her attitude was not so pleasant. Then, she said she would email me a registration package soon.

But I did not receive it until three days before the appointment. So I completed it and sent it back immediately. Later, she did not remind me about the appointment again. I had a very bad day before the appointment, so unfortunately I forgot about it. When I called to reschedule, I apologized several times, and her attitude was still not so pleasant.

She said, "You cannot reschedule until you pay us the $50 cancellation fee. It says that on the website. I don't know where, but you can go find it." You don't know where?! Because you never told me/possibly anyone about it?! $50 was even more expensive than the Groupon deal I paid for! So I said, "When there is a cancellation policy, my dentists and doctors always call me to remind me the day before the appointment." She said, "Well, we do it two days before." No, she did not do that either.

So I found another dentist. They told me about their cancellation policy the first time I called. Then, they called me to remind me two days before the appointment and two hours before the appointment. Maybe being more responsible and courteous like the other dentist's staff would not have turned away your customer.

A friendly clean office and a honest doctor. I had been to one of the chain dental places (Aspen)which had attempted to tell me there was 2600 worth of work needing to be done. I went to Landmark for a second, real opinion and there is only a cavity needing work. The doctor also referred me to a oral surgeon for what is hopefully only a calcium deposit on the jawline that the chain store didn't even notice. They squeezed in both myself and my wife for cleaning and exams on short notice. A very competent and pleasant Doctor.

New technology, courteous staff, in and out within an hour for x-rays, exam, and cleaning, pretty painless cleaning was a plus

Dr. Livshin is amazing. I'm one of those people who are afraid of the dentist, I don't want to go, and I haven't gone in a really, really long time. I had a painful tooth, so I sucked it up and called. He was able to see me within a couple hours. I did all my paperwork before I got to the office, and my insurance had been sorted and verified when I arrived, so I was able to go straight back and be seen.

I was really, really nervous, and Dr. Livshin and his assistant (I'm so sorry, I've forgotten her name!) were incredibly kind, understanding, and nonjudgmental about the whole no dentist for a decade thing. He had my x-rays done within 10 minutes of me walking in the door, and was reviewing them with me and discussing a treatment plan. It was fantastic.

He was able to treat me immediately, and he was so kind. I really can't express how much that meant to me, because I truly am very anxious about dental work in general, and Dr. Livshin gets that and is very, very good at working with that. His prices seemed pretty reasonable too. My insurance covers most of it, but his office manager brought me the price sheet with my treatment plan, and it's definitely reasonably priced.

I highly recommend Landmark Dental, and doubly so if you're anxious about dentistry. Edit: I had a complication today, a Sunday, that was entirely my fault. Dr. Livshin took care of it for me within an hour, on a Sunday. That's definitely amazing.

I bought the Groupon deal for this clinic and I was really, really happy with the experience. The last time I used a Groupon deal for a dental clinic it was the worst dental experience of my adult life, so I was a little apprehensive about this time. But it was such a great experience that even without a Groupon deal and lacking insurance, I would absolutely go back.

I was greeted immediately by the hygienist and she was really thorough and kind. The entire clinic had a serene, non-clinical feel, which was unexpected, more spa-like than dentist office. Everything seemed clean and tidy. I was seen on time. Also, the office manager was really nice and attentive. The dentist is so kind and warm. He answered the few questions I had and was thorough but quick.

They even have Spotify in each room and you can decide which music you want to listen to - nice touch! I had an easy appt. - just a basic cleaning and bite wings, but it was still nice to get such good treatment. I made an appt. for next time and since I'll have to pay out-of-pocket, the office mngr. explained the cost of everything and it was really reasonable, esp. for someone without insurance, which I really appreciated. I was in-and-out in under forty minutes. Parking is easy. I can't say enough good about this office!

I felt so bad imposing myself on this office---total head case, but they were amazingly wonderful. Definitely my new dentist! Thank you so much

I'v had cleanings, caps, cavities and i think even a root canal with the good doctor. He's friendly, gentle ( If that kind of thing is important to you :) and most of all honest. I had a bad experience with Aspen dental in lawrence & dedham, using me and my wifes mouth as a ATM.

If you are nervous about the dentist, this is the place to go. Dr. L is very nice and knows how to keep you calm. He has done a lot of work on my teeth and everything has come out GREAT. I have had some bad experiences with other dentists, and happy to have found one this amazing. Would def. recommend landmark dental!

I had to have a tooth extracted and some dental reconstruction done. I was a-scared! Especially because it was one of my front teeth! Dr. Livshin was recommended as a specialist by my regular dentist and I was quite impressed with his professionalism and the way he calmed me down. He answered all my questions and was more than happy to explain the procedure several times - he was even super nice when I got a bit teary-eyed. I never thought about Yelping a dentist, but as dentists go, I'd Yelp him. Oh, I guess I just did.
