Not certain if your child is old enough to be evaluated by an orthodontist? The American Association of Orthodontists recommends children be seen as early as 7 years old as certain skeletal (jaw) discrepancies and/or crowding issues may already be present and can be painlessly treated while growth is still occurring.
Did you know that straight teeth and a correct bite relationship not only enhance your appearance, but your overall health as well? Crowded teeth and/or an incorrect bite may lead to periodontal (gum) problems, premature tooth wear, as well as speech and TMJ (jaw joint) issues. Utilizing 3D technology allows us to visualize, with 100% accuracy, those areas that x-rays cannot: sinuses, the airway and TMJs.

Dr P. And her office made the process of my son, Nicholas getting braces extremely pleasant. His appointments were always on time and everyone you dealt with were professional and friendly. Every appointment he saw dr. P. and she would clearly give us his update and what needed to be done to get braces off. Happy to say his braces are off and his teeth look beautiful. I would not hesitate to use her services.

My son finally got his braces off last week. He is my youngest and the last of 3 kids with stereotypical 'English teeth'. We started in Dr. Pincofski's office over 12 years ago with my daughter and we chose the office because Dr. P. had a reputation for being very knowledgeable and honest with the parents about what orthodontic treatment will be effective.
She develops a rapport with the patient that is engaging and supportive. The staff motivates the kids in fun ways such as contests to remember to put in their rubber bands, keep in their retainer, brush their teeth, not eat things that will damage their braces, etc. Everyone in the office is friendly and helpful. I could not believe the high tech equipment that they had.
There was a 3D CAT machine that pinpointed the development of every tooth in my son's jaw. His teeth were going in all different directions and stubborn baby teeth were blocking adult teeth. She was able to accurately assess his treatment plan and modify it as he grew (one foot in a year). At that point, Dr. Pincofski referred me to a periodontist to make a cut in his gum that would be necessary for the changing gumline.
She was able to show me on the past x-rays and ICAT scan how this was necessary. I loved that I could see the information for myself and understand her treatment decisions. When my 6'1 son gave me grief about putting his rubber bands in, she had a serious sit-down with him and in a kind and empathetic tone, assured him that if he just followed the plan, she promised he would have his braces off on schedule.
It took the nagging away from my relationship with him and I appreciated it greatly. I was pleased with the treatment my son received, the cleanliness of the office, the flexibility of the staff to schedule appointments, the cost and payment options, and comfort level my three kids all agreed they enjoyed in the office with the staff. My kids now have lovely, straight Hollywood teeth!

3 out of 4 members of my family have been made beautiful by Dr. Pinkofski's magic touch. Dr. P and her staff are fantastic at keeping in touch with you and your dentist by providing important information. Dr. P makes sure your teeth are lined up and you have the proper education to keep them that way. I would definately recommend her practice to anyone! Thank you Dr P and Staff!

Our family dentist did our older son's braces but felt our daughter was a complicated case that required a specialist. Dr. Pincofski evaluated our daughters needs and put into place a very successful treatment plan. We just went last week to out family dentist for our annual cleanings and he is so pleased with the care our daughter has received.
I am so impressed with the care the entire staff gives each patient, they make each patient feel welcome and comfortable. I couldn't be more satisfied with Dr. Pincofski, if I could give more stars I would!

Paid the up front fees for my daughters braces. After a few months she informed us her gums need surgery and to go to her periodontist. Since our insurance did not cover the one she knew we went to one in our plan who recommended doing nothing just to put the braces on. She refused so I asked for our money back so I could go elsewhere. She refused to refund and refused to do the work.
After arguing she refunded a portion of the money. We ended up at another orthodontist and paid the large fees again. However this doctor put the braces on and my daughter is wearing them fine. The new doctor seems I not have an issue with my daughters gums.
