Dr. Ramos is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and a graduate of the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine-Boston's Children's Hospital, where he received his Pediatric Dental specialty training. He is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine for the past 21 years.

Our office, as well as the The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) all recommend establishing a "Dental Home" for your child by one year of age. I've been taking my 3 children to Dr. Ramos for 22 years. Dr. Ramos is exceptional and is always amazing, friendly and personable with our family. He remembers all their names, what their up to and truly interested in their well being. My insurance has changed a few times and I've chosen to pay out of pocket because my children's comfort and seeing Dr. Ramos is more important.
We've also seen Dr. Russo (orthodontist) and he's always been great. My oldest is now almost 24 and still goes to Dr. Ramos, it would be a sad day when all 3 of my kids age out of this pediatric office. I almost started crying from relief and appreciation during our appointment. My almost 4yo daughter had a really bad experience with dentist appointments at a different practice so I was nervous going in, but the practice came highly recommended by my dentist. From the moment we walked in, it was a completely different experience. The receptionist took my daughter for a lap around the office and showed her all of the different themed rooms, pointing out animals and asking my daughter questions.
When it was time for her appointment, Dr. Ramos was warm and very conversational. He took the time to explain each thing he was doing, counting on her fingers and using the toothbrush (which looked like a zebra) on her fingers before going near her mouth so she'd know what to expect. Having her favorite show on the TV in the ceiling also helped! Admittedly, she did get a bit worked up about half way through the brushing, but seeing as her prior dentist never even got through counting her teeth and expected me to basically sit on top of my child to try and finish counting. this was a significantly improved experience.
And even when she was getting worked up, Dr. Ramos and his technician stayed very calm, kept saying reassuring things to my daughter and did what they could to redirect her focus. By the time Dr. Ramos was done applying the fluoride (or "princess sparkles"), my daughter was already laughing again. As we left my daughter was asking if we could come back and be in the Outer Space room next time. I'm incredibly thankful for showing my daughter that the dentist doesn't have to be a bad experience. I wish I had switched us to this practice sooner.

As a 1st time patient my son's experience was wonderful from beginning to end. Christine, at the front desk, was very friendly, thorough and accommodating to my sons needs. Dr Ramos and Dr Russo made my son feel at ease and very comfortable. A beautiful, clean and positive environment as well. Thanks to you all. The hour drive was worth every minute! I highly recommend Pediatric Dentistry of Midland Park and look forward to our next visit.

My daughter started experiencing tooth pain and swelling over the weekend. I called the office to get an appointment but since it was closed I left a message. Dr. Ramos returned two phone calls to me, after hours, with patience and care; even though she wasn't his patient. We have seen Dr. Jenni twice and both times, she handled my daughter with the utmost care.
From the moment my anxious daughter walked into the office, she was cared for. The woman at the front desk took great tine in calming her by engaging with her. Lucy took her X-Rays with patience and expertise. And most of all, Jennifer, the Dental Assistant, not only cared for my daughter professionally, but also with so much care. I was so grateful that while I was speaking with the dentist, that she so maternally cared for my crying daughter.
She knew exactly what to do and say to make the experience the best possible. I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but this office and its entire staff really deserve the accolades.

Thank you Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics of Midland Park, NJ. I can always find a place to park in your lot and your office is calm, clean and comfortable. It is always pleasant to speak with you on the phone or in person and you make it easy to schedule our 3 teenage children with very busy sports schedules. The dentists, orthodontist and hygienists for dental and orthodontics are great. Most recently my children have had care from Dr. Ramos and Dr. Russo.

We Just moved to the area and made an appointment for my little one for his routine check up, excellent services and both dental hygienist and dentist were great, they took their time to explain everything they were doing and my son was happy. He wasa little nervoous before we went insude but he was very calm and happy once inside the office. Everyone was very helpful from receptionist and accomadating. I highly recommend Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics of Midland Park.

What an amazing place this is! The staff is so friendly, the decor of the rooms is fantastic - every room has a different theme. Doctor Ramos was professional, friendly and caring. He explained everything and was attentive to my son. I would give more stars if I could! Highly recommend this place to everyone!

Our 3 year old was super nervous to go to the dentist but from the second she walked in Michelle, the Hygienist, knew all the right things to say and do to make my little girl comfortable. What has previously been a very challenging situation was a wonderful experience. Dr. Ramos is also wonderful with our little one. My sweet child was actually laughing in the chair. Thank you so much for starting our daughter off with positive dentist experiences.

Dr. Ramos is an excellent dentist! My daughter was having a issue with one of her fillings and I had tried 3 previous dentists that were unable to help her. Finally when we saw Dr. Ramos, he was quickly able to identify the problem and fix it! He also did a great job explaining everything to me and making feel at ease. The staff was also very professional and courteous.
My older daughter was treated by Dr. Russo, the orthodontist and that was also a great experience. Dr. Russo is friendly and kind and did an excellent job with my daughter's braces. Her teeth look amazing now! I live 45 minutes away from this practice and it is worth the trip knowing that my kids are in good hands.
