Dr Okun is extraordinarily professional and a tremendously talented Orthodontist. She is entirely committed to her patients and to doing everything possible to provide optimal outcomes in their treatment. Wonderful to experience such a consummate professional and practitioner. The community near and far is very fortunate to have her practicing and continuing the legacy of excellence in orthodontia originated by her father years ago.

We've been very happy with Dr. Okun for our children's orthodontic needs. She is very thorough in her exam and looks at bone structure, facial balance, jaw movements etc. Her deep knowledge and understanding of her practice shows in how well she explains the goals of treatment, the process, and the requirements of patient in the treatment. She also has a bevy of tips and tricks that make the process much more comfortable for the patient.

Dr Okun is friendly to some parents and not friendly to her patients. Intmidation seems to be her tactic for getting kids to comply. The wait is--without fail--an average of 30 minutes. As her 2nd patient of the day, our wait time was actually 45 minutes.

Both of my sons have been going to Dr. Okun for several years. She is among the last of a dying breed. She cares, she takes pride in doing things the right way and is thoroughly a professional. In a world filled with mediocrity, she is a standout. Don't hesitate to put your children's teeth in her hands!

Dr. Okun has performed a great job with the braces for our 14 yo kid. High quality work, responsive and transparent about different solutions vs cost. Great with follow up visits. Okun Orthodontics is highly recommended.

We've been going to see Dr. Okun for about a year. She is a very knowledgeable and experienced orthodontist who was recommended to us as someone taking on complicated cases. Mostly, in this review I would like to stress how kind and caring she is. Even though she has a very busy practice, she has stayed after hours several times when something unexpected came up.

When my child had to have oral surgery, she offered that we come right after to use the electric stim machine that she has. I am not sure how this works, but after using the machine, my child stopped feeling pain and did not need any pain medication post-surgery. It was amazing.

Dr. Okun is very thorough. She will take her time to explain each step of the process! Most importantly, she knows what she is doing and how to get the results you want for your child.

Dr. Okun is extremely thorough in her craft. I love the rapport she has built with my daughter. Dr. Okun has explained every step of every process to my ten year old daughter which helped establish trust. My daughter knew what to expect for each procedure, which was so helpful. She just for her braces removed and the results are amazing. I also would like to add that the protocols put into place to protect against COVID-19 are top notch.

Temperature checks, hand washing, staggered appointments, PPE and hospital grade purifiers were all in place and made us feel very safe. I would highly recommend Dr. Judith Okun.

Dr. Okun is an amazingly skilled orthodontist who successfully treated an extremely complex orthodontic issue with the highest level of care and skill. Her vision and work on a challenging case produced an outstanding and superior result that seemed almost impossible. Dr Okun is a consummate professional. I could not recommend her more highly. She does her job to the highest of standards. I was very pleased with my orthodonture work as well as the follow-up appointment I received. Having just visited the office for the first time since Covid, I have to say I have not been in a safer, more well controlled doctor's office. She has instituted a system of covid safety that goes above and beyond.

My daughter was referred to Dr. Okun by her pediatric dentist for orthodontic work/braces. She had a whole host of issues that even one orthodontist said "I can't do the work on her", at least they were honest. Well, I'm so glad that I was referred to Dr. Okun. She is wonderful and extremely thorough. She handles difficult cases, or patients that have more than the normal work that needs to be done.

My daughters teeth are coming out beautifully. I'm even going to have my son have his braces put on by her. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do the work. Since COVID-19, she's handling the whole situation great. Everything is sterile and clean and following protocol to the tee. I have even referred people to her. I definitely recommend Dr. Okun to anyone that would ask me. You won't be disappointed in the results.

Dr. Okun is the best orthodontist any parent would want for their kids. Her treatment is very thorough and effective. She takes the time to explain each treatment / procedure not only to the parent but also to the child, making sure that it's clearly understood as to why it is needed and also what the child (and oftentimes the parent) needs to do to help and not impede the progress of the treatment. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful orthodontist.

Dr. Okun is the most committed, comprehensive, and dedicated medical professional I have seen in a long time. She spent a long time with me and showed that she really cared about my teeth on a long-term basis. Dr. Okun's commitment to orthodontic care is obvious from the first moment you speak to her. She also clearly has a deep understanding of medicine, reaching far beyond just her field.

Dr. Okun is unethical, she admitted to putting braces on my 9 year old daughters teeth that did not need them. My son had specialized head gear that she created that broke weekly. Braces fell off weekly. Her reputations proceeds her = stay away.

Dr. Okun is a gem. She is a sole practitioner and spends all her time with her patients. My daughter started with a retainer vs our second opinion of needing braces. Dr. Okun has worked magic with only the retainer, straightening her teeth beautifully. Every appointment is spent with only Dr. Okun and we can confirm her dedication, expertise and professionalism that Dr. Okun offers.

Her office assistant Lucy is a delight, positively and happily making appointments and dealing with insurance issues. We can attest that Dr. Okun is very honest and very diligent and amazing at her job. Proof of my daughter's beautiful teeth have themselves acted as many a friends' referral to Dr. Okun.

This doctor should not be allowed to work with children. she is rude and impatient. bad mouth the parents on the phone and in front of the children, screaming and intimidating kids. inflexible with appointment schedule and extremely un accommodating to explain process and treatment more the first time.

In an era of corporate dental chains, Okun Orthodontics is a breath of fresh air. At Dr. Okun's office you will spend 100% of your treatment with Dr. Okun, unlike other practices where you spend more time with a dental hygienist than an actual dentist. As a third generation dentist Dr. Okun combines techniques passed down to her from her family with the skills taught to her in dental school to give you the best possible treatment. If you cooperate with Dr. Okun's treatment plan you will be more than happy with your results, I know I was.

I started my treatment with Dr Okun 3 months ago and was immediately impressed with how thorough she is. She takes a minimalist approach to your treatment and recommends treatment as if you were her kid. Her main interest is the longevity of your teeth. She is flexible with payment plans and scheduling appointments is very easy. So far I am really enjoying working with her as my experience with my first orthodontist was less than desirable.
