Our recommended method for replacing missing or damaged teeth. Dental implants are a vast improvement over traditional replacements because implants are more secure and look and feel of natural teeth. Many patients suffer from significant damage to their smile and need comprehensive, full-mouth reconstruction.
If you have dentures, you know that they can be uncomfortable, ill-fitting and poorly functioning at times. If you are tired of the hassle of traditional dentures, denture stabilization with implants is an excellent option. Dr. Robert Harrell at Adult Dentistry of Ballantyne uses mini implants to create a much more stable denture - one that can be truly life-changing.

This is the first dentist I have been to that I have felt truly cared for and felt like my anxiety was taken into consideration. Previous doctors have always brushed my anxiousness off, but all the assistants were so gentle with talking me through things. Dr. Harrell is awesome, and I'm glad I found his office. Big shout out to the front desk girls too, they are so nice!

I loveeeee this place! Thank you lovely Miss Hunter, and the awesome Dr. Fernandez. I really enjoyed my visit. I went in wanting a better smile, and not only was I given options but also educated on what would be best for MY smile. They really made me feel comfortable with terrible dental anxiety, I can't see me being a patient anywhere else!

I am a new client of Adult Dentistry of Ballantine - first cleaning yesterday. Hunter was my hygienist. She was amazing. I never enjoy going to the dentist but she was very thorough and was gentle as well. I felt like my teeth were cleaned very well and my gums were not aching! If you need a new dentist give them a try - and request Hunter!

I have thoroughly enjoyed being a patient of Adult Dentistry of Ballantyne for many years now. Dr. Harrell and his staff are top notch! They are professional, friendly and go above and beyond for their patients care. Theresa (dental hygienist) makes you feel at ease immediately when you sit in her chair. She is friendly, caring and most importantly gentle on the gums! I highly recommend this practice for all of your dental needs.

Appt was in Jan paid $295 for a routine Dental cleaning, was just reimbursed on June 5th. March 3rd paid $1895 out of pocket for a crown, its now late June and still have not been reimbursed. Similar story as some others here, office didn't submit x-rays, I had to go to speak with office manager, who was laughing it up with the receptionist as I'm standing there waiting to speak with her.
If I could leave zero stars i would. Dental hygienist is good, Dr Harrell good, front office and GM beyond horrible. If your ok with departing with $2190 of your $$ and are not worried about getting reimbursed for months, than this is the place for you.otherwise look for another dentist. I'm headed to Friendly Dental.

Horrible Dentistry. We went here because the reviews were high but it was an absolutely awful experience. Prior to attending this dentistry, we were skeptical of going here as they made the client pay in advance when every other dentistry we had been to billed the insurance directly. Needless to say we were right to be skeptical as we called to make sure they were in network prior to setting up an appointment and were told they were in network for Delta Dentistry.
I attended an appointment for a cleaning and paid the full cost of the appointment out of pocket. Two weeks later my wife had an appointment and I came to find out at her appointment that they never submitted the paperwork to the insurance company for me to be reimbursed. My wife spoke with them about it and they said they would submit it that day.
A month goes by and we still haven't been reimbursed so we email the dentistry to find out what is going on and they tell us everything has been submitted and they provide us a copy of the paperwork. We call Delta Dental and find out that they submitted the paperwork incorrectly. We provide the dentistry the correct information to refill the paperwork and they go completely silent.
They refuse to return calls or emails for weeks. I had to go back into the dentistry and sit there and watch them resubmit the paperwork correctly as the front desk staff member tells me she didn't know how to submit the paperwork. On this particular visit the front desk staff refuses to make Dr. Harrell available to discuss the issues. After just over 2 and a half months I call Delta Dental to find out the status of the reimbursement and come to find out that the dentistry lied and they are not in network and the check has been mailed back to the dentistry in their name for the small portion paid. Furthermore, the insurance company tells me that the X-rays they had me take at a normal cleaning would be at my costs since X-rays were just taken a year ago at a previous dentistry.
The dentistry never asked me to provide records from my previous dentistry and they never explained that there was a possibility that I would have to pay this out of pocket. Because the partial reimbursement payment was issued in the dentistry's name I had to go back in to the dentistry to be reimbursed because they never called since they had already been paid.
I spoke with the staff about them saying they were in network when we initially called and they said nobody is in network at this particular dentistry. I told them I wanted to meet with Dr. Harrell because of the lying about being in network, lack of accountability to accurately file paperwork and pay timely, and forcing me to take a full set of X-rays for a cleaning at my costs when X-rays were just taken in the last year at another dentisty.
I sat there for over 2 hours and Dr. Harrell refused to ever meet with me. I would not recommend this dentistry to anyone. They are by far the worst dentistry I have ever been to.

Dr. Harrell is hands down the most wonderful man and dentist. He and his team are so kind and helpful and go above and beyond to make your experience nothing short of amazing. You're not just another patient, you actually matter to them, and it shows the minute you walk through the door. You literally become part of the family! My procedure presented some complications from an underlying issue, but it was worth every penny to have such amazing and genuine people help me not only deal with it efficiently and effectively, but also with my best interest being their top priority. Dr. Harrell has forever changed my life and I cannot thank him enough for all he has given and done for me! I feel very blessed to have worked with him and his team to achieve the smile of my dreams!
