Any injury to the teeth or gums can be potentially serious and should not be ignored. Ignoring a dental problem can increase the risk of permanent damage as well as the need for more extensive and expensive treatment down the road. Here are some ways to help temporarily alleviate your dental discomforts. We recommend visiting twice a year for a check-up and cleaning, so that our friendly staff can check for problems that you might not see or feel. Regular check-ups help us to find early signs of decay and treat other oral health problems.

Services
Two oral health care professionals - your dentist and the dental hygienist - will likely see you. The hygienist will conduct an initial oral exam of your gums and teeth, document any changes in your overall health and medicine use, clean and polish your teeth, talk to you about caring for your teeth and gums, and answer any questions you might have about home care products.
The dentist will perform a complete oral examination and discuss any treatment you may need. The examination can identify conditions such as tooth decay, periodontal disease, and even oral cancer. Teeth cleaning may be performed during your first visit, or might be scheduled for a follow-up visit depending on the condition of your teeth and gums.
Clear aligners Use clear plastic trays to move your teeth a little at a time. Since the movement is computer generated, the time it takes to move the teeth is significantly reduced. There is a Medical Release and a Dental Cavity Free Letter that needs to be signed by your Dentist before you can get your actual clear tray aligners.
The Clear aligners program is so easy to do. I just wait for my new adjusted aligners in the mail and check in with my dentist now and then. Everything is set up for me online, otherwise! I can't believe how affordable Clear aligners are. Especially compared to their competitors. It's a real treat to be able to afford these aligners and not feel insecure about getting braces post grade school.

If I could give no stars I would. Run run very far away from here unless you like giving money away. They are rude and deceptive in their practices. I scheduled emergency appointment for my daughter. It took 2 hours to be seen for only an intake appointment. They did not address the issue of why I came in because they were already leaving for the day. seems like they scam people out their money.
I went to castle dental for emergency appointment and did intake and the issue resolved the same day with no insurance. Now I have insurance and I need to pay $400 for a cleaning? Like I said run far far away!

I went in for a interview, got the job. Found out that I and another girl were the only assistants for this place. The manager along with other two DA's were coming from the Dallas location. Found out the other DA is the doctors girlfriends sister and was still in highschool. The manager made me do everything in the back because I was "new" and needed to "learn" But im an experienced DA, there's no need for me to "learn" anything. Don't get me started on the "manager" rude rude rude.
Her name is Stephanie and honestly she creates a hostile work environment. She yelled at me while I was sitting down a patient, and did ortho assistant work when she's not even licensed for that. Planning on calling the Texas board on them because no one there is licensed to do anything and nothing is sanitized properly. They didn't provide PPE we had to re sterilize our masks the whole time and we never got replacements.
I ran away from this place as fast as I could. They don't care about patients all they care about is making money. There is no orthodontist on site. Just a general doctor who only checks for cavities. And if the DA's don't know what they're doing, best believe they're messing up your teeth. Proper X-rays can't even be taken. Only a pano and that's it. Not even getting your moneys worth of an exam. Please please please do not come here. Shame on the doctor who owns this facility.

If you get an interview don't bother going. The guy is incredibly rude and so unprofessional in the way he speaks to his employees. The interview will last 5 minutes and he'll ask questions irrelevant to your position/application. Honestly seems like he's trying to argue rather than trying to hire. Don't waste your time.

This is a really good dentist place they have a really nice and attentive staff which really help out and the place is really clean. Every time they I go for my appointment they help out and seem happy to help and help my teeth out a hole lot. The staff speaks both English and Spanish and that is good because in this area there are a lot of Spanish speaking people. I hope more people come to this dentist because it is a really go one.nice

DO NOT COME HERE! I went in to get a cleaning and the nurse told me I had a lot of cavities. Doctor comes and tells me I don't, but that I need an intermediate cleaning because I don't floss regularly. He then gives me a bad look, shakes his head at me, and sighs loudly. I ended up paying $300 for a cleaning that DIDN'T WORK! Screw these guys. I do recommend brident dental, they charged me half to do the same job, and they also made 2 follow up appointments to make sure it worked and it did.

DO NOT COME HERE if I could leave -0 stars I would! This place is obsoletely horrible. I got my braces here and still have them on because they do such a poor job! 3 years of braces with no change! Been asking for my transfer papers over 3 months now and haven't even received the proper paper work! They switch staff all the time you never get the same orthodontist to assist you.
They do what they want to your teeth. It's a huge waste of money. THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL! It seems like they didn't even go to dental school. Please do not come here! There is 1000 many more places for you to go!

Like other reviewers, I went for a check up and cleaning and was told that I needed to pay $300 for a full cleaning. They refused to do the basic cleaning that was covered by my insurance. The whole examination process was long and uncomfortable with three room changes. They took my picture at reception (huh?), then another set of pictures with me standing in the exam room, then a third set of pictures of my teeth with a handheld camera. It felt bizarre and invasive. Any dentist that claims to accept your insurance and then demands $300 for a cleaning is a scam. I will never go back.

They are SO close to my daughter, a student, that I reached out to them for help with an urgent situation: a wisdom tooth suddenly became infected and needed immediate removal. UNFORTUNATELY, our insurance requires a referral from an in network dentist (and we'd sent her to an out of network dentist) so I called them to request help. Maria answered and was steadfast that there was NOTHING they could do to help my daughter, even if she switched to them via the insurance as primary dentist, until some monthly report, which she said could be weeks away.
I described the situation - swollen jaw, nearly unbearable pain, puss, infection - and asked for any suggestions, telling her I need help to help my daughter. She did not budge one inch on her position that there was simply nothing they could do for her for up to a month, when an updated list comes from the insurance company. Thanks for NO HELP at all in an urgent situation. Real HUMANE kinda place. I guess I should be grateful she didn't suggest my daughter use a knife and pliers to do her own extraction!

These people are thieves and scammers, their services do not justify the prices at all. There are plenty of reviews that tell you the same but I figured an updated review might ensure that you don't go here. First and foremost, do not let them charge your card before you are given a detailed description of what they are charging you - even if it's just a cleaning because apparently there are 3 different services and they will not tell you that your insurance covers all of the basic - they'll go straight to an upgrade. Also, your receipt will not show a description of the services, just a charge, and a detailed no refund policy. Second, the service is short, around 15 minutes for a "medium cleaning" no tools, floss, or mouthwash used.
They will ask you to rinse your mouth in the bathroom sink, I'm not exaggerating. The third reason why you should not go here is that they are taking advantage of people who are less fortunate and who may not have dental insurance. Some people will listen to whatever a doctors office tells them and I may not have been quick enough in this instance but there are people who won't speak up at all.
I called my insurance company and we are entitled to two free cleanings a year under their contract. However, Dental Republic claims that they go with the service the dentist recommends and apparently what that means is that they will not tell you what you are paying extra for and that can mean something you do not need. Please don't go here - it's a dental chain that may be cheaper on paper or over the phone but they are scammers. Don't support people who take advantage of the less fortunate and disadvantaged, it's not right.
The only nice thing I can say is that the dental assistants are kind but most likely doing as the doctors and accounting office tells them. They need to find another job asap, Dental Republic is going to hurt their resume because the practices are misleading and devious.

My dental insurance assigned my family this place. I waited with my child for 45 minutes before going in, and as we were giving medical information the staff kept circling the wrong answers to yes and no questions regarding allergies, pregnancies and medications. They take this weird 360 degree dental X-ray, then wing X-rays, then they have you stand and take photos of you serious, then smiling, then a side.
Then they gave me these plastic mouth pull backs and got in my face with a point and shoot camera and told me to stop breathing while they put a mirror in my mouth to shoot the top of my teeth. I stopped them at this point. When I asked what all this was for as I was only due for a routine cleaning, the male assistant (there were two other females in the room, too) said it was so they could see decay. Decay is seen via X-rays and by a dentist not by weird point and shoot images of my mouth.
There was an older couple in a side room when we went back for our appointment. All I can think was that there was going to be some crazy upsell for braces and things we did not need. It was not a medical office. It was scary, and I felt really uncomfortable. When I asked if they were going to go through all that with my child, one of the assistants said yes, and I got us out of there as fast as possible.
That was not a normal dentistry experience. We both cried when we got to the car. My spouse is going to HR about the Guardian managed dental plan because it sent us to poor providers and I have no faith in any others they would assign us to. STAY AWAY.

I had a first (and last) appointment here this afternoon, and many aspects of it went badly: ***The weirdest thing was that after the dentist performed the exam and left the room I was taken to a private office where the receptionist tried to push three kinds of treatment I did not need or desire. Multiple times I asked to speak with the dentist himself, who had not thoroughly discussed (or even mentioned one!) these treatments during the exam.
The receptionist told me that a normal cleaning would be hazardous to my health and that I'd need a special cleaning that was more expensive. I've never heard of different "kinds" of dental cleanings, and the dentist did not mention this during the exam. I asked to speak with him; the receptionist supposedly left the room and talked to him, then returned and continued the same spiel, sans dentist.
I found it VERY strange that the receptionist, not the dentist, nor a dental hygienist, was trying to push treatments on me that the dentist never bothered to explain to me directly. I was very uncomfortable and did not trust this establishment at all, so I left. Also, this happened: -Dental Republic had the wrong time on the schedule when they texted me to confirm the appointment.
I called them to actually confirm, and indeed, they had recorded an incorrect appointment time. Over the phone we settled on a time. -After I arrived I HAD TO WAIT 50 MINUTES - nearly an hour(!) past my appointment time with no explanation or apology. -They attempted to process my insurance incorrectly and tried to charge me an errant copay (a forgivable error, but in the context of everything else that went wrong.) The whole experience was a waste of time and insurance money. I won't go back, and I would advise against this place for anyone else.

My family and I have been receiving dental care from the Austin office for a couple of years. They try their best to keep the place clean and previously had an amazing dentist on staff who has since gone elsewhere. Mostly, my experiences have been pretty average, but I have also found some of the practices strange - like the fact that they take your blood pressure and weigh you at each visit - even if you are just going to get your teeth cleaned.
A lack of business etiquette and professionalism was evident on the day the office closed without notifying their patients. I had a scheduled appointment, showed up, and the office was closed. No phone call. Nobody there. As a provider of dental services, including oral surgery, I would expect a dental provider to demonstrate the utmost professionalism at all times.
