These wonders of modern dentistry are carefully placed where your original tooth used to be. It's fairly quick to do and rarely uncomfortable. Then, after a short healing period, a beautiful new replacement tooth is attached to the implant. All the things you used to be able to do with your natural teeth can be done again with implants!
Following the first appointment for a crown or bridge procedure, a provisional temporary is usually placed on the tooth or teeth involved. This will protect them while the custom restoration is being made. Provisional temporary crowns can be shaded to match your tooth or show you what your new color will be.

Went to this Dentist a few times. Had to get a crown put on very back tooth. While getting crown put on it was dropped into spot where I was choking and 911 was called. Was resolved without medical attention however the crown they ended up putting on a few weeks later was in no way the same one ordered as before. Not sure where it came from but changed my entire smile since it sits higher up changing my bite.
I had a large space between my front teeth while growing up so finally had braces put on as a young adult. This pretty much has ruined my smile with the way my mouth sits sort of lopsided.
