Replacing a missing tooth with an implant makes the tooth function better while also improving the look of your smile. Bleaching is the best-known cosmetic procedure. Resin composite or porcelain materials used to fill cavities, chips, or rough spots are both functional and improve your smile, as do crowns that cover broken or badly decayed teeth.
Park Falls Dental is an excellent choice for general and cosmetic dentistry, including dental implants to replace missing teeth. Missing teeth allow your other teeth to shift over time, which can leave you with serious bite and alignment problems. The socket of the missing tooth may be more sensitive as well; food debris tends to collect in the socket, which can increase the risk of tooth decay and gum disease.
Park Falls Dental is the place to go for residents of Ukiah and the surrounding areas who need restorative and cosmetic dentistry, including dentures. Dentures are necessary to replace multiple missing teeth. If unattended to, severe decay, badly broken teeth or gum disease can result in the loss of most or all of your teeth.
Preventative dentistry involves everything we do to keep your teeth healthy. This includes routine cleaning and tooth maintenance before problems like cavities and tooth decay even have a chance to form. With good dental care and direction, we can reach this goal together. See us for regular cleanings and health assessments for your whole family, and don't forget that the most important part of dental health if daily brushing and flossing. When you visit our Willits office for your routine check-up, our team does a lot more than just looking for cavities.

We like the staff and cleaning experience. However, we've had major scheduling issues. They booked us for a holiday, which means our appointments were rescheduled for almost a year later. And they didn't offer to accommodate us or help in any way. Mistakes made by the business should be made right by the business.

I've always been terrified of the dentist. Never had a good experience and the work always failed. So I let my teeth go to the point where I said "Just pull them all!" But the dentist told me I should hold on to what I had for teeth. It took me a while to get my teeth in order. I had to have some surgery to remove broken teeth. But after that my partials we're ordered and it was all so pleasant. No pain. Finally I have confidence in my dental care. Very professional and organized. I love them.

When my daughter was four years old she started having anxiety at the dentist & refused to open her mouth for the dentist we had been seeing. My daughter requested a woman dentist so we asked around & found Park Falls. & they have been so amazing for us! They do an awesome job at helping her feel safe & relaxed, & we are very happy to have found them.

They are too busy for new patients. Three weeks for a call back to let me know they can't see me for three months. This is after they sent me to specialists. Understood my bad teeth are not their fault but they have been super unhelpful. Like I said, unless you have good teeth you may want to find a dentist with a little give a darn.

I relocated from Montana, they were able to get me in quickly due to a cancelation. However, that wasn't even the BEST part. I have been faithful to my previous dentist for over a decade and found out more in a hour at Park Falls about my dental issues, prevention and future care in my first visit! Very nice, professional and up to date. Thank you for my first decent dentist visit.

I have been going to Park Falls for 45 years since I was 11. As a child they made me feel comfortable, at ease and most visits were pain free. Dr. John Scoggins took his time to ensure I had pleasant dental visits as a child into my adult years. To this day I don't mind going to the dentist. I see Dr. Barry now as John retired. Dr Barry is a great dentist!
The staff are very friendly and professional. The hygienist is great and very knowledgeable. I love getting my teeth cleaned! Last but certainly not least Tonya ( the one who runs it ) has worked in the office since before I began going and she is amazing! I'm thankful for all my experiences and the ability to NOT be scared to go to the dentist. Definitely a 5 star for me!

Alejandra was the hygienist doing my cleaning today and she was wonderful. I'm already a wimp when it comes to seeing the dentist and she actually read my chart and mentioned that she saw I put down that I'm a bit scared of dentists. It comforted me to know I was a person she was helping and not just another number in her chair. She also explained everything to me as she was doing it, checked to make sure I was ok, and then explained "what happens" in regards to future services. This place might just make me change my mind about dentists

Park Falls Dental is great! Dr. Berry was recommended by a friend and I'm so glad I decided to go see him. My teeth don't hurt me anymore! Everyone who has been part of my care there have been very positive and conscientious. I was impressed with cleanliness and the measures they are taking to protect patients and staff from illness. Everyone has been very kind and considerate. If you need dental work check out Park Falls!

Alejandra the hygienist and Sarah the RDA were super sweet. Also efficient doctor. I drove three hours to come here for a cleaning and tooth check. It was pretty good. I feel like all the gunk is gone. Mouth is sore, but that's expected and I need to floss more. I recommended my coworker to come here also. They even have an after hours reception which I really appreciated.

I scheduled dentist appointments for my 3 boys weeks in advance. They then cancel 1 appt and can't give me a reason as to why they did. I politely ask to speak to the office supervisor to see if there was anything we could do to get all 3 seen on the same day. She then proceeds to give me so much attitude. So unprofessional, especially for a dental office! Her attitude managed to convince me to write my first Yelp review. Won't be going back for sure.

I love Sarah and Dr Scoggins. he will be seriously missed! I would encourage your front office guy to not slouch and not continuously repeat "I gotcha" to patients who have front office issues (not me. I observed this). That casual statement to an issue can be construed as too casual for business and dismissive. how about "I understand your concern". Just a suggestion.

Staff was efficient and friendly. My appointment was met promptly. Everyone was efficient however it was our (my husband and I) first appointment with this dental office and with both of us when the dentist came in to do our exams he did not even introduce himself. We both found that odd and also felt that he was not at all personable. He seemed knowledgeable but not very connected to his patients. He is hopefully a good dentist but we are not sure if he likes people. Maybe he was having an off day.

This office wants the money upfront but when it comes time for a reimbursement due to over payment they won't pay rather they give a credit. Beings I won't be going here again it's real slick on their behalf, they kept my overpayment. So they expect to be paid at time of service but won't pay when it's they who owe.

Got fillings done and my teeth have been uncomfortable since. Scheduled cleanings for my children and I.somehow only 1 of us had an appt. I reschedule all of us thinking it's just a mistake and the wait was 3 months for an appt. I show up to my appt after 3 months and they had cancelled all 3 of us! I shouldn't have even gone back after the first time.
The receptionist was very rude and they blame me. I will never recommend a place like this. It shouldn't be this difficult for them to keep an appt and to fill a cavity.

Worst dentist I've ever been to. Left the first time with a messed up filling that caused a lot of pain. When I went back, had to miss work again I was scared and in pain. The dentist was very rough and didn't sedate me. I had already informed him I have panic attack's. When he hit a nerve in my tooth I jumped and my hand accidentally flew up and nocked his glasses.
I apologized through my tears. He told me he was not going to continue working on me and leave me with a gaping hole in my tooth. I couldn't stop crying to the point I could not drive home and eventually he gave in and stuck something in my tooth. My tooth still hurts to this day and I am to afraid to go to the dentist. When I called the manager she was rude and never apologized.
To this day I don't understand why they didn't sedated me. I asked them several times with no explanation. Never been more traumatized. I never write reviews, but I felt I had to protect others from this experience.

I can't speak for the current times of Park Falls Dental. But years ago "80's & 90's" when Dr. John Scogins had his office on Perkins St. Formerly Perkins Street Dental, my family used Dr. Scogins for our dentist in town. I was terrified of the Dentist growing up as a kid and my family had bounced around a few dental offices till we found and settled with Perkins St Dental.
It was well deserved punishment of going to the dentist often as a child. I didn't care for my teeth as I should have and went often. But I didn't find comfort going to the Dentist till I started going to Dr. Scogins office. I then moved out of town in the early 2000's. Had a little anxiety having to find another Dentist again being I was comfortable and looked forward to getting my teeth cleaned.
I just had a friend looking for a Dentist in Ukiah and I told them who I use to use in town. I was surprised to see Dr. Scogins was still working away at his new location. I couldn't imagine Dr. Scogins not providing the same level of care now as he did twenty plus years ago.

Went in for a cleaning a few weeks ago. The hygienist picked around my teeth for about 20 minutes, flossed and had me use some hydrogen peroxide to wash out my mouth and that was it. She said that they didn't have to polish due to covid. I called in 2 days later to ask if polishing was part of a normal cleaning. The supervisor told me that a "cleaning" only involved work done "below" the gums, and even the flossing wasn't part of a normal cleaning, and that polishing was not required as part of a teeth cleaning, and that they were going to bill the insurance full price for a cleaning that took about 20 minutes and consisted of a bit of picking around the teeth and flossing.
She then told me that I could come back in if I really wanted the polishing, and then made sure to tell me that she would have to pay the hygienist out of her own pocket to do the polishing since it was not done during the original visit(not a very professional thing to do). If you are going to get a cleaning, make sure you call ahead to verify exactly what will be included during the cleaning, so that way you don't waste your time for 20 minutes of picking and flossing, something you could probably do yourself after watching a few youtube videos and buying a pick on Amazon, and avoid your insurance getting billed full price. Will not be returning.

I made an appointment with Dr. Barry on a Wednesday. I had a tooth that was badly infected. I was prescribed antibiotics for the infection. On Friday morning my dog chewed all my antibiotics up. I called to get a refill prescription. I informed the office that it was detrimental that I maintain the antibiotics because I am a hip replacement recipient.
If I do not maintain my antibiotics, I could end up with an infection in my joint, and end up in the emergency room for a hip replacement clean out. not to mention that I was in a great deal of pain from my tooth infection. The office told me that they would not be able to give me a refill until possibly Monday. Not only is it bad practice to start anabiotic's stop and start again.
This could be absolutely detrimental to my health and well-being. Not only do I not want to have a tooth infection. But I do not want to end up in the emergency room getting my hip cleaned out well worrying about getting COVID-19. this is now Wednesday and I still haven't heard back from the doctors office. I will not go back to the office for refer them to a friend. In very upset with thi.

Excellent! Everyone here is super nice and friendly and will work with you to get your treatment the way you want it. I was able to get 3 appointments in the span of a week because when I had insurance money expiring at the end of the month I was desperate to spend. The work was well done, quick, painless, and I felt very respected. Really happy I went to this place.

I went to this office because I had a fall off my horse, and along with some ribs, my nose and my spine, I broke one of my teeth. I am terrified of the dentist and was not excited about going to a new one in this shape, but I had an exposed nerve and couldn't take it any longer. I needn't have worried though, these guys were awesome! They got me in on 30 minutes notice, and immediately put me at ease.
The dentist was VERY gentle and the hygienists Sara and Tina were wonderful. They got me a temporary fix in less than an hour and it was easily the best dental visit I've had! Too bad I don't live in the area, because I would be back for all my dental needs for sure!

At one time I was a client. But after they under quoted me by 200% on a root canal I will never go back. I had pre-paid for the procedure and crown, when I came back for my crown they had a bill for $680 + and thought the mistake was funny. There are only two "in-program providers" in town, this was the wrong one to choose. But, the work done was good quality.
