I love Stephanie and her crew. i used to be in pure panic mode about the dentist chair but dowell Dentistry changed all that. i won't go anywhere else.

A great experience! After not seeing a dentist for 28 years, I was very nervous and embarrassed. From the moment I walked in their door the entire staff made me feel welcome and at ease. Absolutely thrilled with Dowell Family Dentistry! Our family drives over 800 miles from our home in New York to have Chip and Stephanie do our dental work. They're THAT good! I'm personally horrified of needles and needing to have dental work done. Chip did a great job of calming my nerves and walking me through my cavity filling today. What a blessing they are!

Normally I'd give this place a top notch review since they did such good work for me years ago, but I'm not pleased with how I was treated this morning. I has scheduled this appointment about a week ago, but my husband's car tore up and he needed to drive my car to work out of town. I called Dowell Family Dentistry to let them know that due to car trouble I would not be able to make my appointment.

She says to me that she has canceled it and there's a $50 cancellation fee that I have to pay if I ever want to be rescheduled with them again, and that I'd have to pay first in order for that to happen. I laughed, said ok, and hung up the phone. This information was never disclosed to me when scheduling the appointment. I feel as though this should be something that they advise people beforehand, because life happens.

I would rather pay higher fees at a different dentistry than ever set foot back in this place again because of this ridiculous policy and their failure to inform me of such a thing beforehand.

Amazing dentist! My daughter is 5 and she does fine as long as she can see me. They let me go back with her and did everything they could to make her comfortable. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved my experience at Dowell Family Dentistry, and I would recommend them to anyone. The staff is great and tried their hardest to make me feel comfortable. Dr. Chip Dowell was very thorough and took time to explain everything he was doing to help calm my anxiety, and it was completely painless.

Today, I noticed a broken piece of tooth was coming off one of my molars. I immediately called Dr. Chip and was told to come in to have it checked out this afternoon. Even though I didn't have an actual appointment, they took me right back for X-rays, and indeed, I had a broken tooth! Dr. Dowell had it fixed, filled, and filed smooth in a short time! I appreciate the kindness and immediacy taken during my broken tooth encounter! Thanks to Dowell Family Dentistry, my tooth and my eating are working out just fine! :-
