Incredibly apprehensive about visiting the Dentist - Dr. Beall and Cassandra, the hygienist have made my visits tolerable - comfortable dare I say. Cassandra, is kind, patient, knowledgeable and has been a God send she's worked with me and my hesitation and helped ease my nerves about visiting. I don't know that I could bare a visit without Dr. Beall's invaluable staff.
Appointment are sometimes a challenge to get but I believe it's because of how wonderful Smiles by Beall, is. Kim, receptionist has been very helpful too and worked with me as far as my preferred form of communication. which is via e-mail/text. the office confirms your appointment and is prompt to return calls placed. I highly recommend Dr Beall & Cassandra - consider myself fortunate to have found such a wonderful clinic.

Since you finally chose to respond 2 years later, please do not forget to respond to the part about how ugly your faces turned into once I disagreed with ya. The fact is that writing a bad review won't help getting my money back in any way and the moment I took it into action it was not threat anymore. I simply think someone like Mr. Beall does not deserve patients because of the way he treats patients if anything ever goes wrong.

I had my veneers done here and it has been the biggest regret that I can't take back. It's now been years and I am so insecure about my teeth I wish I never got veneers. When I first got the veneers they were sent back to the lab because they were transparent at the bottoms. When I got them back the second time I expressed concern that these second set didn't match the color of my real teeth and were actually more yellow. Dr. Beall said he agreed and went into the other room to contact the lab to let them know.
When he came back he said I would have to pay an additional $500 for a new set of veneers because 'the lab can't just keep making new ones for free'. Mind you both times were the labs mistake. I told him I absolutely wouldn't pay for new ones as they were now done incorrectly twice. He said he agreed they didn't match in color but there was nothing he could do, it was the lab. Right.
There was no budge on this. It was pay or stick with the veneers the Dr. agreed didn't match but stated he could do nothing about unless I paid more (for the labs mistake). I didn't. I went back 2 weeks later and asked him to look again because I really thought they were so noticeably yellow compared to my real teeth it was embarrassing and a lot for the veneers for me to dislike so much.
This time was blamed on 'maybe you drank too much coffee or soda because that can cause the veneers to darken.' Um, after 2 weeks.no. Months later my front tooth fractured while doing absolutely nothing. I went in and it was blamed on me. Months later again my other front tooth fractured at the bottom in the exact same place. Same response.
They wouldn't replace them at all saying I needed to pay. My teeth to this day slowly chip off, feeling like sand paper particles in my mouth. I ended up going to another reputable dentist and she could not believe the fractures in my teeth after such a short period and the fact the dentist didn't offer to replace them knowing they were not correct when placing them on the first time and wanting more money.
She stated Not only were my veneers a different color than my teeth but my bite had clearly not been adjusted beforehand which should always done which is why my front teeth sat sideways. She said veneers should never fracture the way they did in such a way which clearly showed the type of quality and lab that was used when making the veneers. The dentist also claimed that in her 20+ years she has never heard of a dentist act so unprofessional knowing the work was not done correctly and asking me to pay more when a lab would easily correct the discolored veneer.
She said when you pay, the lab will make veneers until they are correct. It's their job. Bottom line. She even offered to file a formal complaint to the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE). I declined because I'm to nice. Fast forward some years later and my two front teeth are so fractured in the same place it looks like I have been hit in the mouth causing my teeth to chip.
I now have to pay thousands more to have them replaced. I don't even want to hear a peep from Kim because she was a spitting image of Dr. Beall's unprofessional and out of line behavior during this whole situation. Her response alone to another clients review speaks volumes. Stay away.

Try your best to make sure how much eventually you will pay otherwise you will be told you are dumbass when you ask Beall why you should pay the extra amount the insurance suddenly wouldn't cover. First of all, the one star is given to Mr. Beall himself. The clinic is fine and Beall is fine as a dentist but he is way too mean and greedy as a person.
I started going to them last year because my college health center recommended them. Everything was all right until right after I finished all my surgeries. They immediately billed me $640 saying it was not covered in the insurance even if they had told me so when convincing me to do the surgery. ( I didn't know that back then because I went home for summer and it would be a lot cheaper if I had done it at home.) A few weeks ago I learned the bill of $1200 which could ruin my credit history secretly through the insurance company so I emailed them and asked for a face to face negotiation as an attempt to solve this peacefully.
In my email I said "I will pursue litigation if necessary" as this is the right every man has. He took that as threat and told me I was the dumbass because I didn't read the insurance policy. When the insurance didn't go through not as what they told me when they tried to get me do the surgery, I was the one to blame who didn't read the insurance policy thoroughly. Beall also told me that even if they did some predetermination from the insurance company, things could have been the same.
I also asked if I could at least get some discount to get through this because I am just a college student. Beall judged my right of litigation, my right of protecting myself that the amount had to be paid in full. What really shocked me was what kind of greedy and mean species this once humorous and funny doctor could turn into when money was at concern.
I am not sure had I not sent that email, would he give me some discount or not. I wrote this review as objectively and thoroughly as I could since I promised Beall to do so before I left. I always tried to be a decent man. Again, for those who are currently going to them, the other staff and the clinic as a whole are fine. Just Be aware of how much you could be charged eventually and the small flowers he gave his patients might not compensate what you paid in the end.
One last word for Beall, I also told our health center and student union the whole story, so you might want to do a goodwill impairment test in the end before you go to bed with my money.

Who actually gets to say that they're looking forward to going to the dentist?! Well when it comes to Dr Beall, I certainly do! Such a kind and positive guy with an incredible staff to boot! I love the way they approach every aspect of their business, from the admin to the chair! So thankful to have found this wonderful team!

I visited Dr. Beall and his wonderful staff for the first time today, and I can honestly say it made my entire day.not something many people (if any!) say after a teeth cleaning! Dr. Beall (pronounced Bell - I asked :) ) is so very kind, warm and friendly. I had Leigh Ann as my hygienist and she was so very friendly and sweet. Ms. Kim is the office manager and was also incredibly friendly and professional - she gave me all the applicable paperwork for the 1st appointment a week ahead of time and checked my insurance coverage before I stepped foot in the office.
I felt like I had known everyone in the office my whole life rather than it being my very first visit. Plus Dr. Beall gave me a hug on the way out and a rose for being a new customer. Honestly, I was a bit apprehensive to find a new dentist in Dallas - I loved my childhood one in Bedford so much. But after meeting Dr. Beall and his lovely staff I feel right at home and am very much looking forward to my next appointment in 6 months. Again - when does anyone ever say that?!

Dr. Beall is a phenomenal dentist. I have been going to him for years. He is genuinely very nice, explains what he has found, what he plans do do to teeth, etc. He and his office staff care about what is going on in my life, and are the friendliest medical office I've ever been to. His dental hygenist, LuAnne, does a great job and is a natural at putting me at ease the second I walk in the door. I definitely recommend going to see him if you are looking for a new dentist.

I have to say that I think Dr Beall is, without a doubt, the BEST dentist that I have ever been to. I have since moved form Dallas, and am having the usual heartache trying to find a decent, kind, honest and upfront dentist. I have had a few dentists during my life, and none of them are a patch on Dr Beall and his surgery, where you will get taken care of the moment you step in the door.
I would almost fly back to Dallas just to see him! Not only is he a decent human being - he is also a great dentist. I am just lucky to have had the work done that I had done with him, because the trouble I am having finding a new dentist is no joke.
