As a dentist, I am able to improve people's quality of life. Quality of life means more than just functional improvement: it's also boosting confidence and well-being. I can relieve a person of dental pain that's made their life miserable. I have been in the Dental Field for 13 years. I started my career as a Dental Assistant then moved to Front Desk Coordinator. I love greeting patients as they walk into our office and seeing the smiles on their faces! I am also here to answer any questions you may have about the office, as well as insurance and billing.

Everyone is soooo nice and friendly. Loved my hygienist; so personable and my cleaning was very thorough. Dr. Cooney is very conservative, did not recommend any unnecessary procedures. This is his practice, it is NOT a dental office owned by a big corporation. Be weary of those. I highly recommend this practice. I came from a dentist that recently retired, I was one of his first patients when he started his practice. Loved him and his people, I miss them all. But, I am happy I landed with Dr. Cooney and feel they will take excellent care of me.

We have gone to Dr. Cooney for over 10 years. We also now bring our two children there. He is one of, if not the most helpful, kind, and knowledgeable healthcare providers I have dealt with. He will take time to answer any questions you may have or concerns. He never does "unnecessary" work to make money. He is hands down the absolute best! We have lived close and far over the last 10 years, and we always travel to go there as opposed to somewhere closer because he is that great of a dentist and provider.

Sadly, this dentist does the very basic within dentistry. I had to go to 3 different dentists over 5 visits for one tooth that needed a root canal and a crown. This dentist looked at my mouth to tell me that I needed to go to an endodontist to get a root canal. Well, his friend did the root canal and when the temporary broke off on a Friday night and started slicing my tooth, I was advised to use a nail file and wait til Monday.
Once I had a second root canal on the same tooth with 3 weeks this dentist created a build up for a 3rd dentist to complete the crown. There are many other dentists that do SO much more. Continue looking or else it's just wasted time and money for each visit. This has been a painful nightmare.

Dr. Cooneys office was a great experience. From Allison at the front desk, Ashley his assistant and Dr. Cooney were great! Such a gentle and though dentist and very very personable. This is definately going to be my office from now on! I worked in dentistry for almost 40 yrs so i know qualitiy and this is it!

The staff at Cooney dental is warm, friendly and welcoming. Starting with Dr. Cooney and trickling down to the entire team. I'm a new patient and was running late for my appt this week waiting for my mom to watch my daughter. I called to explain and they were understanding as well as accommodating once I arrived. (Just a few minutes late but still.). They're also located very conveniently close to our home.

First the physical now the dentist! Enjoy Dr. Cooney. great dentist, great staff, and Melissa at the front has the best personality than any doctor, dentist, etc., that I have ever visited. I for one just fall asleep in a dentist chair, go figure, I don't like going to a physical doctor but a dentist is easy for me. Dr. Cooney will make you feel at home. Has two locations one here and the other in Jefferson.
