Dr. Varallo and his staff are awesome! They are the nicest people and he is the best orthodontist around! My whole family has gone here and I would refer anyone to him. He is always so nice and friendly and always makes the patient feel comfortable and always does the best for the patient. Your teeth will look amazing he is the best around!

Varallo Orthodontics is terrific! I did my Invisalign there and my daughter got her palette expander and braces. The staff are incredibly friendly and patient and Dr Varallo is extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. I felt very happy with them and my smile looks great!

When I was searching for an orthodontist this was the third office I went to. From the moment I first called to book a consult they were different from the other offices I went to. I have just completed my treatment with Dr. Varallo. My case was a bit more complicated, but Dr. Varallo was so wonderful and knowledgeable as well as flexible in treating my case by trying different options to arrive at the best outcome. We had a great experience at Varallo. Everyone is friendly, informative, and efficient. Our appointments all happened on time, and it was easy to schedule a time to come in quickly after a bracket broke. Covid protocols were thorough and easy to follow. My kiddo is very happy with how her teeth look now-as are her parents! She really liked the nurses and Dr. Varallo; they were all friendly, gave good advice, and kept her at ease throughout the whole process.

Dr. Varallo came highly recommended to us from a family friend who happens to work in a non-affiliated dental office. Getting orthodontic treatment is not easy for many kids and teens to cope and deal with. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and are very understanding of kids having anxiety and phobias. I would give no stars if I could. Spent 4 years Working with him. 18 months in bottom braces and Invisalign, then three more years in just Invisalign and elastics My teeth never moved. He never adjusted the plan and each visit he told me things looked great. At the very end he told me maybe i Need braces up top or jaw surgery. When I told him it was ridiculous to hear this at this point in our agreement he referred to consent forms I had signed that covered him. I finally got my money back but I completely regret the time and trust I put into him. Steer clear. Do your research and find someone else. terrible, terrible experience

I have been wanting to get Invisalign for years and after my experience with Varallo Orthodontics, I wish I had done it sooner. I was referred to Dr. Varallo by my dentist and was so impressed from the initial meeting- professional, kind, and genuinely listened my desires and concerns. I did have another consult at a different orthodontist and they didn't even compare to Dr. Varallo and his team.

I knew immediately that this was the place for me. Dr. Varallo and all his assistants are so gentle and explain everything so thoroughly. They always run on time which I greatly appreciate - I've never had to wait longer than 5 minutes to go into my appointment. My treatment time was even shorter than expected and I am so incredibly happy with my results - I really couldn't have asked for a better experience. BEST OF THE BEST! From Dr. V to the assistants to the front desk, my entire experience has been welcoming and most important comforting! I first met Dr. Varallo when I was visiting my general dentist on Cape Cod. We discussed some options for treatment and never once was my decision rushed. I moved to Boston in 2015 and soon thereafter decided to try Invisalign instead of the typical braces for cosmetic reasons.

Every interaction with the staff from Denise and Laura to the assistants, Bianca, Laura and Krystal, has always been quite pleasant. Again, I was met with comfort by a warm smile at the front desk to a shared laugh with the assistants while I was getting treatment. I really felt that they sincerely cared about me and my experience as a patient, yet also as a person by engaging in chit chat and showing tremendous compassion. I highly recommend Varallo Orthodontics for people of all ages looking to improve their smile and confidence!

Varallo Orthodontics is the best place for your orthodontic needs. Dr. Varallo and his staff have treated my daughter, and now myself and my son, for years. Chanel at the front desk is so personable and always goes out of her way to work with my very busy schedule. All of the technicians are very kind, informative and efficient. Dr. Varallo is incredibly nice as well as being an excellent orthodontist. I am very pleased and highly recommend them.

I am in Invisalign treatment at Varallo Orthodontics right now and I am very happy with the results so far. I was very nervous because I hadn't had orthodontic treatment before but after my first appointment the staff and Dr. Varallo eased my nerves. They explained everything clearly so I knew exactly what to expect, they also showed me how to maintain my Invisalign. I recommend Varallo Orthodontics for Invisalign or braces. The front desk is always so happy and I enjoy coming to my appointments.

I just finished my Invisalign treatment. I first met with Dr Varallo 16 months ago. I had crooked teeth, an underbite, and TMJ pain. Because I'm in sales I wanted to be treated with Invisalign. I went to three other orthodontists. All three would only do braces and one even said I needed surgery. Dr Varallo was willing to try Invisalign. He even offered to put braces on my teeth for free if Invisalign didn't work.

The braces weren't needed after all. My teeth and bite look great. My TMJ pain also went away. Thank you Dr Varallo for making a difference in my life. You and your staff are amazing

We love Varallo Orthodontics! Every time we go for an appointment the front desk staff is helpful, polite and friendly. We have never had to wait to be seen for more than a couple minutes and the staff is very accommodating and efficient. i would highly recommend Varallo to all my friends.

I have had many issues over the years because I had come here for braces. Although my mother did choose this office when he had first started I didn't expect at nine to end up with teeth that we're never actually fully corrected almost fifteen years later. I am so unhappy with my results and just found out that because of having my braces on (for four years) I have short roots on my front top teeth.

This means I will most likely need implants later in my life. I was never informed that this could ever be a "side effect" of having braces. First of all, I got them on at nine years old and was told that it would be two years for me to get them off. After the two years I had been told I should have had teeth removed at the beginning of the process because I don't have enough space in my mouth.

So after two years of headgear and braces unnecessarily I then had four teeth removed. This mistake caused an even longer lasting effect and in total I didn't get my braces off for four years. Furthermore, scheduling appointments always seemed to be an issue over these four years. I had many different sports to work around and his wife was never happy about that.

After this entire extended process that could have been done in two years I had serious calcifications and stains on my teeth from the braces. This then caused me to get even more expensive lumineers done by my dentist. Lumineers cover teeth, they are like veneers but the tooth is not shaved down to a stub and replaced, in order to cover the stains.

So now because of braces and going to this practice I had four years of expensive braces, even more expensive lumineers, and now I found out from my dentist I have short roots. There is nothing that can change a mistake so long ago but learning all of this afterwards has taught me to regret coming here as a child. Even my headgear for two years didn't completely correct my overbite and I am having issues with my jaw because of it.

As a suggestion I would ask him what the negative effects braces can have on your teeth, such as serious stains that cannot be removed by any dentist's formula whitening treatment and short roots that cause your teeth to almost fall out as you age.

Dr. Varallo is great and his assisting staff is amazing. I have been under his treatment as an adult and now my son is under his treatment. We are happy with him. Why the 2 stars then? His front desk and scheduling staff is nasty, not accommodating and plain old mean. They are not pleasant, shout at you and just cranky. I have to think about treatment for my second child and honestly I am considering to switch just because the nastiness of his front desk and scheduling staff. After spending $8K on your business - I can't tolerate nastiness. They need a lesson in politeness and customer service.

Dr Varallo convinced me to go the invisiline route. I was not a candidate for this method. They really don't work unless you need very minimal movement. Spent 2 years and $5000. Invisiline is junk. Dr Varallo must get a kick back from the company. He talks all the patients into this method. He didn't listen to my concerns.

Really nice and seems like a very good practice. Reasonable fees and very helpful. We looked at a lot of orthodontics and I am glad we ended up here.

I'll give Dr. Varallo 5 stars, although he's my first and only orthodontist so take that with a grain of salt. Last year I needed to get braces to fix up me old chompers, at the oh-so-fun age of 28. I consulted with 4 doctors. Dr. Varallo was hands down the best one I found: friendly, courteous, and prompt. As a bonus, he had just finished with braces treatment himself, so he could absolutely sympathize with all steps of treatment. He's made me feel comfortable and well-treated every step of the way.

The office support staff is friendly and competent, and are willing to work with you on all aspects of treatment (payment, etc). They take all kinds of insurance, and are not out to gouge you or your insurance company. Another nicety is that he bounces from his Arlington to Burlington locations during the week. This has been advantageous for me in terms of scheduling maintenance. His office waiting room is always full ( a good sign - he's got lots of patients), both adult and child. I recommend him with no reservations.

I started seeing Dr. Varallo last summer. He laid out my treatment plan as easily understandable as possible. He told me the straight news, and didn't beat around the bush. I've been in his office now approximately a dozen times, and not only is he worth the five stars, but his technicians as well. Everyone is very personable. I'm on a first name basis with the entire staff.

As for my teeth, he chose to utilize the Damon 3 system. My teeth have moved a tremendous amount in only six months, and with minimal soreness. The worst pain is when i needed spacers between my teeth. Adjustments for archwires is painless in the office, and near-painless afterwards. I don't even need to take any motrin ahead of time to curb any pain. for any adults that need braces, i would highly recommend the Damon 3 system. I have the half-white, half-metal ones, and they are visible, but barely. Overall, i would definitely recommend his office to anyone in the area.
