Transfer authority from parent to dentist. If possible walk child to dental chair. If able to leave, reassure with positive words and rejoin child after with positive feedback. If unable to leave chair side, allow dentist or hygienist to guide the appointment. You should expect at the dental appointment a familiarity with an office that you and your child will gain trust and comfortability. I have been to Healthy Smile center for several times for various work. Everyone is always very nice and professional. The dentists work very well with their other professionals at the office. They have a lot of updated equipment to provide you with a good assessment of your teeth and dental work required. They werw recommended by my periodontist to finish work on my implants.

I have only been to one other dentist in my life. Since I was a kid until about the age of 27- today was my second visit at Healthy Smiles and I feel so comfortable there already. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable- Dr Crist is so sweet but also tells you what you should be doing to better the longevity and health of your teeth, to which I appreciate so much. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a dentist!

This was my first visit here for both myself and my adult son. Neither of us had been to the dentist in quite a few years so there was a bit of anxiety going in. From the first phone call to set up the appointment to each interaction with the technicians and especially the doctor everyone was welcoming and so friendly. We have definitely found our new dental home. Huge thanks to everyone there and we will be seeing you again soon!

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Crist since 2010. I can't say enough about how amazing the practice is. Each of our children don't throw a fit to go, which makes it even better. When my kids seem nervous about any procedure or work, all of the hygienists and Dr. Crist are patient and reassuring to comfort and calm them. They answer all of the question my kids have openly and honestly, they walk them through the entire process helping with any nerves. I can not recommend this office enough.

Dr. Crist is the best dentist I have ever been to (out of seven dentists I have seen in my life). I have had a lot of dental work done over the course of 40-some years, and need a good practitioner for occasional repairs and new work. She does great work filling cavities - I never feel "patched up" - my teeth feel strong when she is done. Dr. Crist also encourages regular checkups to help avoid problems down the road.
The staff is friendly and accommodating. The covid safety procedures at Health Smile Center are excellent. I recommend the Healthy Smile Center to anyone seeking a healthy smile and a great dentist.

Dr. Christ is the best dentist! She is amazing in the way she talks to you about your teeth and the procedures. Im always confident in her care and I've never felt pain, which is my number one reason for going to her. I have had bad experiences in the past and she is very understanding of that. The hygenist, Rose was so thorough yet gentle.

I've taken my family to 4 different practices since moving to Michigan. This is by far the best practice I have been to. The staff is patient and friendly. The doctor is knowledgeable and caring. We felt completely at ease there, they did a great job with my kids. We all actually look forward to going to the dentist now!
