Was fitted for my night guard and had a cleaning here and am very satisfied. This office is very thorough, efficient, and professional. The doctor and staff have a great sense of humor and family-style appeal and a comprehensive approach to care. I moved to NY but still come here for my 6 month cleanings. Their website makes it very easy to communicate and book appointments.

Major Over Billing Issues! Charged me for upper run of the mill X-rays $350.00 Im willing to pay more for better dental work but im not willing to get totally ripped off. Read Facebook Reviews says it all.

I had a great experience here. Coming from a nervous 15 year old I found Dr. Markowitz very comforting. I recommend Great Boca Smiles to anyone who is new to the area and or looking for a new dentist.

One of the things I appreciate about Dr. Markowitz is his attentiveness to the front of the office, in addition to the care I receive, his awareness of his staff has made me a loyal patient for 4 years. They are top-notch, very friendly, knowledgeable and organized. The office is clean and they're always running on time which is extremely important to me as a mom with a full-time job.

I even received a call back from Dr. Markowitz on a Saturday when I called and left a message! From extensive dental work to routine cleanings, they've got you covered. If I am in need of work that is going to cost me money out of pocket, I ask for a quote in advance and make a plan so that there are no surprises at the end and they are happy to do that. I highly recommend Dr. Markowitz and his team.

The worst office staff EVER. Dr Markowitz is an excellent dentist but as a long time patient, I must say good bye to this horrible practice. The office staff, namely a woman named Jody, make it unbearable to deal with. They hound you over your appointment, even after already confirming. They cal and call until it's at a point of stalking. As if no one else has a job. It's a shame because Dr Markowitz is a great dentist. Do you know how bad office staff has to be in order to drive a patient of 5+ years away because of their office staff?

Please do not waste your money going to great Boca smiles. Dr. Markowitz is very egotistical very dismissive and will charge you an arm and a leg. He also will make you sign a form only guaranteeing his work for a year. His office manager is extremely rude and very arrogant. Great Boca smiles will charge you for work that your insurance company will cover. If you're going to pay an arm and a leg for quality work please go to another dentist

Dr. Markowitz has been my dentist since 1999, with the exception of 6 years, while living out of state. BEST dentist I've been to; contentious, honest, and more importantly a perfectionist. I'm personally very puzzled reading 1 star reviews, as my husband, myself, our kids and the many friends we've recommended this practice to, have never met anything beyond kindness and professionalism. The practice has a very warm, jovial and welcoming atmosphere, which is a testament to its owner treating his staff and patients alike, with the utmost care and respect

I don't award five stars easily or on a whim, but in the case of Dr. Markowitz it was earned and well-deserved. Doubt there are better for implant dentistry.

I stated going to Great Boca Smiles in October 2016. My experience with the staff and the expertise of Dr. Markowitz has been nothing but exceptional. I drive all the way from Sunrise, Fl to Boca Raton, Fl for all my dental visits. I am so impressed with Great Boca Smiles. What a wonderful staff they have! But most Important to me was the dental service my husband and I both got. Dr Markowitz was my husbands dentist a few years ago. He was so impressed that when I needed help I called. Dr Sean Shkolnik was my dentist. I can't say enough good things about him! Warm and very personable. I felt like he was my friend when I was in the chair. If you have any dental need call this office! They are unbelievable.

Unethical Billing Practices and needless procedures, Please get a second opinion. When financial gain is placed before patient care. its a matter of time before it unravels. Any professional who undermines. the integrity of patient care should not be practicing. Question any bill or procedure, I am not the only one this has happened too. Please read other treads not under the censure of his website. Notify the ADA until these billing practices and misdiagnosed issues are addressed by the State attorneys office. You may label me crazy. But I certainly am no one fool.

I would like to take this opportunity to recommend Dr Markowitz and his team at Great Boca Smiles. Years back I had some bonding done on my two front teeth and unfortunately over time the bonding discolored and made my front teeth appear yellow. I was very conscious and unhappy. Dr Markowitz recommended to veneer these front teeth and the results are incredible. He had to match the two teeth to the rest and he did so perfectly. I would highly recommend Dr Markowitz

Mr. Bill lives here. Double Bill, Over Bill, Every Bill. It appears that the office billing practices are quite over the top. A routine cleaning was paid through insurance, however it appears my teeth required an additional deep cleaning. This is no difference other then ( Ching ) another fee. $$$. "You require an oral rinse " $$$. I think he is really French, his real name is FEE FEE. I rely on the integrity of a professional not a scammer in a white coat. The fact that you responded, well over 6 months after my review speaks volumes.

Marci did a deep cleaning on my teeth yesterday and was so thoughtful and caring - she wanted to make sure I wasn't in any pain - she is amazing and would recommend her to anyone- thanks. Everyone in office at Boca Smile is warm and friendly

Friendly office staff and fantastic, personable dentist! Very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I had a slight emergency and they were completely accommodating. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Markowitz may or may not be a good dentist, but I will never find out. I felt he was condescending during the exam and border-line arrogant at the follow-up. Also, upon return I had to wait at the reception quite a long time without explanation. To sum it up: while some things and certain staff in his office are reasonably nice, the dentist's off-putting "bedside manner" was unacceptable.

I have traveled 1 Hr and 10 minutes to see wonderful Dr Markowitz in Boca! What a. terrific experience. The staff every one of them is sweet. helpful and professional. Dr. Markowitz has the lightess. hands, and wonderful bedside manners. The office has the latest most modern equipment, dental technician on the premises. I am one. happy patient who left without any pain. Don't mind traveling from Miami for my. Implants and bridgework.

Dr. Markowitz and all of his staff are absolutely wonderful. The office is professional, friendly and spotlessly clean. Everyone is always smiling. I am in the process of having my third dental implant with Dr. Markowitz. His techniques are excellent. I had no pain during or after the procedures and excellent results every time.

Absolutely could not have chosen a better place! I had an old cracked filling that got infected while in town for work. Not only did the wonderful staff squeeze me in, but I was able to see the get my X-rays, and see the dentist right away. My whole visit only took 30 minutes, sadly my tooth required a specialist but I was given the proper medication to tide me over till I could get in. I received my prescriptions, referral, and a VERY affordable bill and was give the Dr.'s personal cell phone in case I needed him after hours.

Beware everyone, if you know anything about implants, look at my xray: DO NOT TRUST DR MARKOWITZ! Crooked implants, bone loss, and he never acknowledged his responsibility. Three dentists have looked at his work and told me that they've never seen that in their whole career. Worst dentist in Florida. I'm so satisfied with the quality of excellence that I receive from Dr. Markowitz and his professional staff, I feel compelled to always write a review after service. My gums haven't felt so good in YEARS. As for my teeth, I just can't believe just how many people comment on how white and bright they are. I've lived in Boca for 12 years and tried 4 other dentists and finally found Great Boca Smiles. Anyone who reads this review must see you. Thanks again for all you do.
