Midtown Dental

I've been going to Midtown Dental for four years now and I have enjoyed every single experience I've had there! Everyone from the dental hygienist to the doctor to the women at the front desk are so kind and helpful. The dental hygienist and doctor do a really great job of explaining things to you. Something I find really unique about their practice is that when you have a tooth that may needed additional attention they will get out a camera and stream it to a tv that you can see and they will explain to you what's going on and why you need to get additional work done. I've never had a single complaint coming here!

My family and I love midtown dental! They are always very professional and don't try to perform unnecessary procedures.

The whole team are absolutely amazing. So kind and inviting. Dr. Nab knows what he's doing, I always know I'm in good hands. Highly recommend to go see Dr. Nab!

I've been coming to Dr. Nab and Midtown Dental for about 10 years. Even after leaving Midtown, I travel back because the service is top notch. I've had a variety of Dental work done - routine cleaning, cavity fillings, chipped tooth repair (going 10 years on original fix), root canal prep and referral, Zoom teeth whitening, & night guard creation. Have been going here since 2004 and it is a wonderful experience. They are thoughtful, caring and have a very nicely appointed place. Dr Nab and staff are always good at communicating about my teeth and I almost look forward to going every 6 months. Almost;

Overall just a awesome experience! From the beginning the appointment process to the front office ladies, Dr Nab and his assistant was very professional along with great chair side manners! The process was painless, comfortable and looks great!

Dr. Nabb has been my Dentist for 25 years plus, I would not trust any other Dentist with my dental needs. He has a wonderful bedside manner, makes one feel completely comfortable before starting any dental process. He takes much pride in his dental work, I'm so grateful that he does, he does amazing dental work and will counsel you towards all options available.

Dr. Nab and entire staff is awesome. I had, what I considered to be, a dental/orthodontic emergency and could not be seen.or even get a phone call back from my regular dentist. I was frantic and a mess. Via Google I found Midtown Dental and they were able to squeeze me in same-day! Dr. Nab took very good care of my issue and was more than thorough. I've had a LOT of dental work in the past, so I know a good dentist when I see one. He's honest and compassionate, and I highly recommend coming here for your dental or orthodontic needs. I'm really embarrassed I forgot the names of the ladies in the front and my dental assistant. They were all so helpful and nice! It's refreshing to know you can count on these guys if you're in a jam. Thank you all so much!

Dr. Nab did an amazing job of fixing my eight year old little boys broken tooth. No pain no drama no bad experience had and you can't tell anything was done! Had two other dentists tell me they couldn't do anything. He is my hero!

My husband and I have been going to Midtown Dental and Dr. Nab for years and have never had anything but the best experience. The staff is all so nice and accommodating. The office is very clean and well-equipped. Highly recommend!

I'm relatively new to Houston and after an unpleasant experience with the first dentist I went to, was looking for another. Besides having a very high rating and being in my network, I was pleasantly surprised and delighted with the care I got at my first appointment. I felt listened to, the treatment plan was gone over in detail (as well as the cost), and they really worked with me on scheduling. If you're like me and want a great smile, I don't think it could have gone better.

This is a wonderful dental office. The entire staff is very professional and the office is beautiful. Dr. Nab took care of my root canal and fillings pretty quickly and I didn't experience any pain. Crystal, the dental assistant, was incredibly sweet and made great conversation with me. The office is located in a very safe, central location. I would definitely recommend Midtown Dental.

I have been going to Midtown Dental for many years now. I am very happy with their work. The teeth cleaning is always thorough and careful. Sometimes I take a nap during the cleaning. Dr. Nab is an excellent dentist. His team is very welcoming and always well prepared.

I have been happily going to this place for years. Service and attention have always been great. This is my first annual visit to get my usual bi-annual teeth clean and per standard I expected everything to be covered by my insurance. I was shocked to be told to pay $15 to cover the dentistry's COVID PPE changes. I told a staff I was never informed of this fee nor during the many reminder appointment notifications.

I also learnt that they did not make this a habit to tell their clients about this new charge. I feel taken advantage because I feel this place deliberately withheld telling me then sprung this on me at the end of my visit. It's not about the $15 but it's about the lack of transparency of not informing their patients of all upfront charges.

The extra precautions taken to address COVID is part of the business cost of doing business and they should be open about passing on this to their customers. I paid the $15 but this incident has left a bad taste in my mouth that I don't care to repeat.

I've been coming to Midtown Dental since 2001 and every year, the staff and service provided always exceeds my expectations. The staff are courteous and professional and greet me with a smile. The technicians are great with relaying any new information needed that will support the healthiest smiles. I would highly recommend Midtown Dental for your dental needs.

I had not been to the dentist in quite a long time, but getting back on track with Midtown Dental was super easy. They will check with your insurance for you to set up a new patient appointment and talk about your options. I didn't feel pressured into anything and I thought they were being very honest with me, as well as very nice and supportive.

One of the reasons I didn't go to the dentist for so long was that I was expecting a difficult experience, but that is not the case here. I've always been seen almost as soon as I walk in the door. The location is great and the facility is too. I've already recommended it to a few of my friends.

Best dentist that I have ever been to. Now he's my one and only dentist that I ever visit. Staff was so proactive the first time I called them. Followed up by themselves and made sure that I came in the same day when I told them I had some bleeding from my gums. Needless to say that's been years. My teeth are in great shape now thanks to Dr Nab and his team. Great dentist, if you haven't been here, make an appointment now!

I've met Dr. Nab years ago and was very impressed with my first visit with him. I had to move so I had to get my teeth cleaned at other dental offices after that. Years ater I realized the work that he had done was intact and still beautiful. I never had any issues following.

I came to Yelp to find a new dentist and this time, was sorely disappointed. From the inefficiency of splitting of the first two appointments in to two separate ones (X-ray and cleaning); to the wait time; to unfriendly office staff; to the "used car salesman" vibe immediately I got from the dentist- let's just say, I won't be returning.

To be fair, I did give them two chances (6 months apart). The second time Dr Nab didn't even come to examine my teeth. I've never had a dentist not come at least peek at my sparkly whites during a visit to ensure things are looking okay. The second star is that they do have state of the art technology and use cameras to take pictures of your teeth. If you are looking for luxury dentist, this may be the place for you.

Been going to Dr. Nab since 2000, so about 19 years, self-proclaimed part of the "nonexistent" loyalty program. Dr. Nab gives great banter, you just got to get to know him. I have always appreciated the latest tech and their dedication to gum health and educating the patient. I have better teeth for it. Really. My son did his ortho there while in high school with the clear bracket braces where many of his friends didn't even know he had braces.

I love my CEREC crowns, which Dr. Nab was one of the first dentist to provide this service many, many, years ago. Very thorough and knowledgeable. Staff over the years have been a little "meh", but love Abby "still there and sweet the whole time" and my current hygienist Christina who does not hurt my gums, damage my teeth, and perfectly balances the water suction while thoroughly cleaning each tooth all by herself. Pretty good! Trust me no one has really done that. I am actually able to relax.

I've been coming here since moving to Houston 4 1/2 years ago, on the recommendation of a colleague. I keep coming back for several reasons: The staff is super friendly and competent, which is important because they are the front line to the public and the backbone of the office. Most recently, Christina was my lovely dental tech and she was gentle yet thorough. Midtown Dental is conveniently located close to my downtown office and, bonus, there are designated parking spots.

My appointments are always on time, which says to me that they value my time as much as theirs and that means A LOT to me as a busy professional. Significantly, the equipment and technology is the latest and greatest. I chipped a couple of teeth from clenching. For the first, Dr. Nab was able to create an impeccable filling with the high-tech, in-house 3D printer and I was on my way the same day.

The other tooth was my top, front tooth and I cracked it the day before I was scheduled to fly out of town (eek!) They got me in before I left and fixed me up as good as new, this time using a composite, I believe. It's a perfect match - you'd never know my tooth was busted before. Look, Dr. Nab loves himself some Dr. Nab, but he's got the skills and solid practice to back up his ego. Pro tip: be sure to pick up a $5 tongue scraper here - it works wonders and I am obsessed with it! Disclosure: I received a free fluoride treatment a couple of weeks ago in exchange for a posted review. This is my honest review.

Was impressed with the service and friendliness of the staff. They were very prompt and thorough. Everyone went above and beyond to be helpful and make sure I was comfortable with what they were doing and next steps in the treatment plan. Overall would recommend.

Dr. Nab has been my dentist for over 7 years. He is friendly and always takes time to answer any of my dental questions or concerns. His staff is very friendly and always follows up with appointments. I would definitely recommend this dentist and office.

Really like this office. Made my first visit yesterday and Dr. Nab and his staff are truly welcoming. They made me feel extremely comfortable and their advanced use of technology not only helped me to understand some of the concerns they expressed but also to see the images of the areas mentioned. Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I look forward to developing a long-term relationship with Midtown Dental.

I was happy for maybe the first three times I went (and I went initially for cleanings only every 6 months). If you go here strictly for cleanings, fine. Other than that, look elsewhere. Dr Nab is a nice guy but doesn't seem to really give a shit about his patients. After 4 years of regular cleanings, I needed to have an old crown replaced. It didn't seem to get any better after replacement and Dr Nab just wasn't very interested in figuring out what exactly it was that was still causing discomfort. Like I said, cleanings OK, other MOVE ON!

The staff and Dr. Nab is great! I'm usually very nervous when I have dental work done but Dr. Nab and his team did a great job! In the past I had a bad experience at a dentist office but they made me feel at ease!

Really happy with the service I receive here - everyone is so friendly and helpful. They give you options and don't force you into treatments that you don't necessarily need, but give you the information so you can make your own decision. Thanks Midtown Dental!

I'm 27 months into an "18 month" orthodontic program, with at least 12 months to go. Choosing Midtown Dental for my ortho treatment is the biggest regret of my life. I have no leverage to influence my treatment since they require up front payment. Would give zero stars if I could.

Its clean and neat in the lobby and the majority of the staff seemed very nice, but I had what I perceive to be a very strange experience with my bill changing by the time I came out from my visit. This mix up was eventually corrected. Mainly, I thought the office dynamic was pretty bizarre. Dr Nab (who initially came off as super friendly) seemed to boss around and belittles his staff members which makes for a pretty uncomfortable experience when you're stuck in a chair with your mouth held open with your dentist scolding the assistants that they dont know what they're doing. I thought it was very unprofessional and I do not plan to return.
