I just google a place to go as I was having so much tooth pain. Dr Anthony was very caring and explained everything in easy to understand words. I spent some time with her and I'm beyond happy and blessed to come across Dr Anthony. I cannot wait to work with both Dr Anthony and Dr Andreasen at Featherstone. Thank you to a great staff as they made me feel like I'm at home. I really appreciate everything they have done for me as being a new PT. They have made my dreams come true.

I can totally understand now why this place has such a high rating! Everyone here is so kind and welcoming. As someone who struggles with anxiety, I was pleasantly surprised by how understanding and accommodating the staff was. The best dental experience I've ever had. I will 100% be coming back and recommending to everyone I know!

I want so bad to love Burch Dental like I did in the past but it's just not the same. Scheduling seems to be impossible, I had to change an appointment date and I couldn't get in until 7 months later which I couldn't believe. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and going to just assume they are short staffed like many other places. But my appointment was disappointing too I just had to wait so long for the dentist which I haven't had to in the past.
Maybe it's because I had a late morning appointment so their busy time? I don't know but I'm going to again give them the benefit of the doubt. I'm just feeling like I might have to switch to another office, I just really hate to do that! We will see how it goes in another 6 months. Hopefully they can hire more people or extend their hours to fit more people in or something I don't know. The staff they do have are all very kind though, and their office updates since the last time I was there are beautiful.

From the moment I walked in to Burch Dental, I was welcomed with a warm greeting and it only got better from there. With the latest technology, top notch talents of Dr. Anthony, and an amazing staff, I knew I was in good hands. I have visited a few times, as I needed more than a little dental work done and I may have (I did) fall asleep more than once because I felt at ease. I look forward to my dental appointments and I highly recommend Dr. Anthony. My mouth not only looks better but I feel better too!

Best dental appointment ever! I haven't been to a dentist for over 10 years! I was super nervous and stressed before my appointment. Jessica was my dental cleaner (dental angel!) and she went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make my experience the best! She was super gentle and checked on me multiple times to make sure I was comfortable and happy. The Dentist was super kind too!
Shoot everyone in this office was great! And not only did I get a tooth brush at the end of my apt! For Christmas they gave me a Gift! Seriously I will 100% be back! This place makes you feel Good about getting your teeth cleaned!

Needed a bridge and had a prep work appointment on December 13, 2018. I asked the front desk people if they will follow the Cigna guidelines and not submit the claim until the seat date (date bridge installed). Not only did the front desk staff agree, but Dr. Verheecke and his assistant were also informed. Surprise! This dental office submitted the claim for the December 13, 2018, prep work visit.
I was trying to maximize coverage (dental insurance is so minimal) by scheduling the seat date submission in January 2019. I telephoned Cigna and explained what had happened and waited until the claim funds were returned to Cigna. Once done, I then scheduled the seat date appointment. Dr. Verheecke was angry! He asked me if I did something regarding the dental claim and I told him that I informed Cigna that the December date was only a prep date, not a seat date.
Everyone agreed that the seat date would be the date of the claim. (The only reason I followed through with the appointment was because I had paid them a substantial amount of money.) The seat date invoice was paid by Cigna in January 2020 (what a mess as I viewed the claims work between Burch Dental and Cigna). I received a dunning letter March 10, 2020, and noticed that the date of the claim was December 13, 2018.
It was simply signed with some illegible name and the title "Financial Coordinator at Burch Dental". No claim existed for that date as the seat date was April 4, 2019. I telephoned first the Forest Hills office and asked to speak to Dr. Leann Burch. The person answering the telephone stated that nobody "can speak to her" and that she no longer practices dentistry. "Taylor" is the name of the Financial Coordinator.
I then telephoned the Palo Verde office and spoke to Victoria. She stated that Dr. Burch is over HR now, no longer practices dentistry, but will pass my message along. Surprise! I never heard back from Dr. Burch. However, I did receive two more bills (dunning notices) over the next four months, with "rebilling" fees attached. I finally received a certified letter, not signed at all, stating that they "seldom use a collection agency because we value the relationship we have with our patients". Sure, whatever you say.
It was then threatened that payment must be received within the next 14 days or that my information will be released to their collection agency. They closed with "Please contact our office if you have any questions at (815)997-5904". However, NO name was provided on the letter--it simply stated "Burch Dental". I telephoned Cigna to obtain advise regarding path forward.
They stated that I only owed the actual charges--no rebilling fees. The dental office can put whatever date they want on the invoices as long as it is understood that they reference the work. I sent the check for the final amount, with no rebilling fees, put "Final Payment - Per Cigna" in the notes section and sent it. It was cashed today. I will NEVER go back to that dentist's office again.
As an aside, my husband was scheduled for a cleaning and check in March of 2019. We were surprised that NO dentist was available in the office. We were told to reschedule for the exam but the cleaning can progress. Who does business in this manner? We do not live close to this office and were never advised ahead of time that no dentist would be available. Ok. They "value the relationship" they have with their patients. They have unprofessional ways of showing this.

I gave a star because the dentist is friendly but that can't compensate for lack of skill. I hesitated to post a review as I don't like to leave negative comments. I went for a simple filling and the dentist hit the wrong nerve when administering the injections. I'm still dealing with the repercussions almost a year later. I'm now trying physical therapy and the physical therapist asked what happened and exclaimed that this dentist hit the wrong nerve when administering the injection in their mouth too. I would think twice before making an appointment. This has cost me thousands of dollars and weeks of lost work.

If you're in need of dental care, do yourself a favor and give Burch Dental a call. I called and made an appointment with Dr. Padron, and couldn't be happier. I should mention that I have not prioritized my dental health as I should have. I made and went to my first appointment with a mixture of anxiety, shame, and embarrassment. Never once was I made to feel "less than" or uncomfortable about my situation, it was a simple case of "let's see what we're working with and go from there." No judgement, no embarrassment.
This place is full of professionals from the front desk to the aforementioned Dr. Padron, to the hygienists and the insurance and billing staff. Super easy to work with, great relaxed environment, no pressure. Can't recommend them enough.

I am relatively new to the area and stumbled upon Birch Dental just by luck. I usually hate visiting the dentist and always feel uncomfortable, but had the best cleaning appointment I've ever had thanks to Sandy. She was lovely and kept checking in to make sure I was ok while she was cleaning. Dr. Verheecke is also great! He explains what he's doing and why, which makes me feel much more confident in him and the work that's being done on my teeth.

Friendly staff, very personal care and customer service. Experienced doctors that care about their patients treatment. They also have 4 locations so it is easily accessible for a lot of Rockford and Loves Park residents. All their offices are very well kept up and clean. I would highly suggest any dentist or hygenist at Burch Dental.

I feel like they recommend services that really aren't necessary just to get your money. This has happened to other friends as well. They do take longer than some offices but I'm sure not as long as others. The office was clean and the staff was friendly. The girls at the front desk were helpful and knowledgeable.

Everyone here is so knowledgeable and helpful. They made me feel comfortable the minute I walked in the door. All information is presented clearly with printouts to support the information. Treatments are administered professionally with doctors taking a genuine interest in any concerns or questions that might come up. Awesome dentist experience! The text reminders are great too!
