LOVE this business! I found them via word of mouth at work, and I feel SO lucky! I moved around all my life and have seen a lot of dentists with those moves. These are the best by far - personable, amazing work- I enjoy coming to my appointments. In fact just took my 3 year old for her first appointment too! I love that this is a family business too! My first visit to Arbor Hills Dental Care worked out pretty well. Dr. Samantha was very detail oriented and patient, she took the time to explain all relevant details in a thorough manner. The practice is well setup and they seem to have recently upgraded their infrastructure and tools.

Personable, skilled, and kind dental providers who cheerily tolerated me telling them I hated them because they're dentists during my every visit. Now that I've moved I'll never find dentists as great as they are. Highly recommended. the best dentists I've ever had!

Dr. Ted is really thorough, professional and personable. My husband and I always have an amazing experience. Very clean facility and flexible with schedule. Highly recommend!

I want to preface this review by saying I have been extremely afraid of the dentist since childhood due to a traumatic event. I have high anxiety and just thinking about having to make an appointment drives me into panic attacks. You can imagine that I would do anything not to see a dentist so if you're like me then this is the dentist for you. First thing you'll notice is that the office is clean and does not smell like the typical dentist office, that's a huge plus right away for me.

First time meeting Dr. Ted, he was very friendly, easy to talk with and took the time to explain everything in a calm manner that helped me relax. He understood the trauma I had gone through and worked on my timeframe to make sure I was comfortable before doing anything. The first visit was so smooth that I immediately scheduled a followup appointment for a cleaning.

Just to let you know how monumental that was and why this was so important, my last cleaning was over 20 years ago. I was, of course, nervous about the cleaning, but again he made me comfortable and took the time to make sure I was feeling good about everything. He was thorough and gentle and I found I was able to relax and complete the entire cleaning with no issues. I will definitely be returning again for followup visits and am very glad I found a dentist like Dr. Ted.

I was very fortunate to find Dr. Sam and Dr. Ted when they opened their practice several years ago. Excellent dental care by caring dentists. Highly recommend you visit and learn for yourself why people go to Arbor Hills.

I've been coming here for years and I continue to commute from the city because Doctor Sam and Doctor Ted always put me at ease. There's never wait, which makes for a very quick and calm trip. They provide a true family doctor experience.

If this is not your dentist office, it should be! A lot of dentists throw out the word "gentle, " but I've never been to dentists who back up that claim like Dr. Sam and Dr. Ted. They should give a TED (no pun intended) Talk on how to exhibit compassion and empathy. I recently had a procedure done that could have been very unpleasant, but they made it completely pain-free. Don't miss out on the best dentist experience ever.

My family have been patients of Dr. Ted and Dr. Sam since 2011. They have a winning combination of expertise and technology, coupled with a caring and very careful approach to their patient's oral health. We have been going to Dr. Sam and Dr. Ted for over 5 years. They are really good with my young children. They are very knowledgeable and up-to-date, professional, honest and also kind. They explain things clearly and discuss options. We drive a long way to see them and recommend them highly.

Wow! Dr. Sam & Ted Cho does the cleanings themselves and will educate you about your teeth. They will take time to answer any questions. They are very easy to talk to and professional. They will ask you from time to time if you are hurting or if there is discomfort during the procedure. They pay attention to detail. You can watch any movie you want and listen with head phones.

They even call you after the procedure later that night to follow up with you and see how you are doing. You can even text their cell phone to communicate with them instead. I had both work on my teeth and both dentists do a fantastic quality job. Very clean facility like a hospital and updated equipment. They are very experienced and very knowledgeable!

Both dentists care about their patients like family. I feel like I'm family every time I am in for something. I know I will get the best care like I'm part of their family. We get to know each other like family too! They will try to accommodate your schedule especially on Saturdays! I recommend them to all my family and friends. They have competitive prices with quality work!

My whole family (including young children) have been seeing Dr. Sam for more than two years now, we continue to be impressed with their knowledge and caring attention. We love going to the dentist :)

Still the absolute best experience you will ever have at the dentist - read the other reviews - it's not just my opinion! My entire family are patients. We usually see Dr. Sam but my stepdaughter saw Dr Ted recently when Dr. Sam was out of town. Both are top notch dentists and even more important - understand their patients needs no matter what their age.

We now have a 12 year old who likes going to the dentist - that says a lot! This practice may be Vernon Hills best kept secret - but good news spreads fast. Oral healthcare is so important yet so often neglected. For anyone fearing a visit to the dentist - you need not fear anymore.

Wow. Who knew you could rave about dentists?! Dr. Sam has been AMAZING! I have been to her office one time so far. I had been going to another dentist for an issue, but quickly found out they weren't in my dental plan. (Just because they accept your insurance, DOESNT mean they're in your plan!) I found some dentists from my dental plan, and then checked out yelp. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to all of you who rated Arbor Hills!

Because of these ratings, I called and she has me on a path to fix my teeth! I called on a Saturday with a chipped tooth. She called me back within a half an hour and got me scheduled for Monday morning! She actually got there before her staff, so that I didn't have to miss work! She is caring, thorough, honest, she explains everything and works with you on various options and what works best for you!

The endodontist I went to did a poor job on a root canal (and their staff was mean) and I was dreading calling them. So Dr. Sam called them and followed up with me right away. I was a little nervous about going to the dentist, but she is very calming. The whole office environment is quiet. I was quickly put at ease. She explains everything and gives you options.

She shows you what she's talking about on a tv screen. I saw my x-rays and she told me what they showed. I have nothing, but wonderful things to say about Dr. Sam. She's the BEST! EVER!

Dr Ted is by far the best dentist I've ever had. He's not only highly skilled in the work he does, but also in ensuring his patient's comfort.

What a wonderful team of dentists! They are truly caring. They recommended a great orthodontist to us and kept in touch with the orthodontist during the course of treatment! Amazingly gentle, kind and calming. The best.

Dr. Ted and Samantha Cho are great. Very thoughtful of any pain that might exist or ongoing. Both are great dentist and would recommend to anyone in the area. By far the best in Vernon Hills.

I switched to this dentist last year and was very impressed! It is a state of the art facility, very clean, and the personnel is very friendly. They call me the day before my appointment to confirm every time. During my first visit, I was given a very thorough exam by Dr. Samantha Cho, pictures were taken (they even showed me on a mounted screen any problem areas), and a full history was done.

They literally went thru tooth by tooth to rate the health of the gums which I've never experienced before. You can even watch a movie while they do your cleaning/exam! Dr. Cho even brushed my teeth and showed me how to floss properly. Being in my twenties, I have NEVER had a dentist show be proper floss technique, so that thoroughness impressed me.

On a subsequent visit I had Dr Theodore Cho do my cleaning and he was equally good. Another thing that I really like is that they talked about treatment options with me, gave me estimates all spelled out on paper, and let me make the choices that were right for me. I'm glad I found my new dentists and they are super friendly too!
