PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTAL OFFICE IF YOU NEED IMPLANTS! In February of 2022, I was seen by Dr. Batool Rizvi, the oral surgeon at this location. Everyone in the office was very nice and friendly, however Dr. Rizvi has horrible bedside manner and the implant that she placed in my mouth failed. I should've known that my procedure was going to turn out bad because while I was waiting to have my procedure done another patient called in to the office to say that she was in pain, and that her implant was failing as well.

While I was healing the temporary crown that Dr. Rizvi placed in my mouth, fell out and I had to go back for her to adhere it better. During the second visit I felt the top of my lip burning, only to realize that she had carelessly gotten the chemical adhesive she was using (for the temporary crown) on my lip, and it left a burn. Last week I went in to see her for my permanent crown, and was told that the implant had failed.

I did everything she told me to do, ate on one side of my mouth for months, brushed after every meal and they also tested my vitamin D levels before and after and said it was where it needed to be for optimal healing and yet the implant failed. Doctor Golden and Doctor Rizvi both said that it failed. At that point I didn't feel secure with Dr. Rizvi and I told her that, but all she did was go on a rant about how excellent of a surgeon she is and that I should let her try to fix it.

I decided to get a second opinion from a more experienced dental surgeon, and was told the positioning of the implant was placed VERY BADLY, and that my gum line was positioned TOO HIGH. My boyfriend who already paid in full asked if we could get at least half of the money back which would be $1,600 dollars, and we were told that they would get back to us, but none of them called us back, even after we left numerous voice messages.

In other words, they were fine with exercising medical malpractice and not paying us back the $3,200. Don't jeopardize your teeth with a company that refuses to be accountable for subpar dental work.

Extremely invasive dentist. Linda Golden uses cheap sales pitch to get people to agree to drill into perfectly good teeth by saying 'she hopes she can save the tooth.' Beware of her sales pitch. Small cavities self heal with a change in diet and the tooth doesn't need to be drilled into. Look for a biomimetic dentist who doesn't rush to drill into teeth at aobmd. org

I was very pleased with my cleaning. Ginger was very thorough. My interaction with Dr Golden was informative and I felt she is very caring and sincere.

After seeing 5 dentists for a special zirconia implant procedure, I finally found a kind, caring and considerate office that helped customize my dental plan and insurance-free payments unlike any other. Something is wrong with DR. Golden, my crown broke in August, after just one year, and she kept telling me and the staff, that she never made me the crown. I have receipts paid $4000. It's beyond unethical, irresponsible and crazy. please stay away from this lunatic. She is an insensitive dentist, i am walking around with a hole in my mouth, and she could care less.

Terrible, I am traumatized by the way they do things. Not professional, overpriced and most important poor skills. My teeth hasn't recover fully after the procedure. Would not recommend this place. Maybe she was good before, but she is falling apart.

Apparently I'm not the only patient who moved away but still makes a 4 hour round trip visit to Dr Golden! She treats the whole you with honesty and compassion while constantly finding the latest holistic solutions for the long term care of your mouth. She's a best kept secret that you will be lucky to have on your side, and the entire staff reflects her commitment to healing you. I can't recommend her Dental Wellness practice enough, from someone with almost 20 years under her care!

I am so happy that I chose to go to Golden Dental! Dr. Golden, and her staff are wonderful. The office is comfortable, and clean, with some of the most modern amenities I had seen in a holistic office. The assistants are attentive, and caring. I had a dental emergency, and was grateful that they were able to schedule me in with such short notice. I really appreciate the natural alternatives, essential oils, and NO FLUORIDE! Dr.

Golden herself was extremely knowledgeable, and took extra time to make sure that the work she was doing was going to be comfortable for me after I left the office. I was impressed with how she was able to examine my mouth and discern the multitudes of prior dental work that I have had done. Absolutely abhorrent and abysmal service. I was warned that she wouldn't have the best beside manner and that she could be alarmist and would suggest work be done that wasn't completely necessary like another reviewer here also stated, but I felt like I was talking to a child with her reactive and impatient behavior.

I've been coming here for 15 years and Dr. Golden and her staff have always been amazing. They work hard to make sure you are comfortable and your visit is pain-free. She is a perfectionist and wants everything done perfectly. I've seen Dr Rizvi as well and she is also great.

Dr. Golden examined me and scheduled me for five fillings. I was suspicious and went to another dentist who said four of those teeth showed no decay whatsoever and one was minor and would need to be filled eventually. When I returned to Dr. Golden, she was prepared to drill into four perfectly healthy teeth until I told her about the second opinion.

At first, she became angry and annoyed that I had sought a second opinion for cavities, then re-examined me, said I didn't need fillings after all, and ended with, "See? That's why we always check before we drill." My opinion: total money milker who is willing to sacrifice your physical health for her financial.

Dr. Golden is the kindest dentist. Most importantly, she is an honest dentist. She will not create unnecessary dental work. Before she begins any procedures she always confirms she has evaluated the entire case - your teeth and your overall health. Dr. Golden never recommends a procedure unless she is certain it will be effective for her patients.

It is always a collaborative decision - you matter. The entire office including management, front, desk, hygienists, and other dentists especially Dr. Rizvi, all have appropriate bed-side manner and top skill sets. They are well-versed in methodologies of current dentistry as well as holistic approaches. Regarding dental technique and proficiency, Dr.

Golden is a precise and high quality doctor. The office is clean and they are dependable during emergencies. Golden Dental has restored my entire mouth and I know I am in good hands.

Came here with a same-day dental emergency and the entire staff was very warm and welcoming. Dr Rizvi doesnt just perform her job very well, but sincerely cares for the well being of her patients. She even called in for a follow up the next day. Dr. Rizvi is a sincere, empathetic, and attentive doctor and I highly recommend her.

Dr Golden is terrific, attentive, a real person and responds quickly. i had recent root canal and she was in touch with me all weekend. She restored almost my entire mouth following some damage to teeth. Great only negative: Shes only in Manhattan 1 day per week.

Wow, after reading Debbie F and Jane M's review I felt I had to respond. I have been a patient of Dr. Golden's since the early 90s and she's been absolutely solid, from her skill set to her bedside manner. I've referred many patients to her including one who had an extreme fear of dentists. Because of her, his teeth are now in good condition and he continues to see her for regular check ups.

My usual wait time to see her is zero to 10 minutes. The quality of her work is very high. My whole family sees her and she's done regular fillings, extractions, cosmetic work (she is A+++++ here. Ask to see her book) and crowns for us. If she doesn't feel comfortable performing a procedure that you need (e.g. difficult root canal or implant), she'll tell you immediately and refer you to another dentist that specializes in that procedure. I can't say enough good things about her.

Dr. Golden is the kind of dentist I wish everybody could experience. I almost don't want to post this and let the world know that finally I have a dentist who respects appointments and blocks out enough time to personally treat patients. Not only does she tolerate my gagging, but she follows up to make sure I'm ok the day after. She has called my children's orthodontist and oral surgeon to ensure my concerns were being addressed. I wish she was an internist.

When we all look for a dentist, we should be looking for the same qualities: a clean office, a dentist who is trained in the most up-to-date procedures and who possesses the most modern technology/equipment in their office, and a person who is both a consummate professional and also a compassionate human being. I have never found a dentist who has come even close to fulfilling all these characteristics until I met Dr. Golden, and she not only meets these expectations, but highly exceeds them. Additionally, there is a huge bonus that comes with choosing Dr.

Golden as your dentist--she is a holistic dentist in every sense of the word. When I extensively researched dentists, I wanted to know what it meant to them to be holistic, if they were self-described as such. For many of them, it just meant being open-minded about not using toxic materials like mercury-laden amalgam fillings, or at best, to actually providing a variety of alternative filling materials. However, to be a true holistic dentist, means to see one's dental health as an integral part of the patient's overall health.

On that note, such a dentist should do what he or she can to use the most minimally invasive procedures and the most biologically sensitive and safe materials for your body. Dr. Golden does just that and for this reason the name of her practice, the Golden Dental Wellness Center, is a great choice of words, because I can assure you that Dr. Golden will improve your "dental wellness" in the most holistic way possible, and in so doing, you will feel better about your over all general health. So, to summarize, if you are looking for a dentist who will take care of your or your children's (she is fantastic with kids) dental needs, look no further. Dr.

Golden is meticulous, conscientious, caring, highly skilled, well-educated, and experienced (having graduated from NYU Dental School over 20 years ago). I feel confident that every time I walk into Dr. Golden's office, both my child and I will walk out with a smile, both literally and figuratively, and there is no greater compliment that I can pay a dentist than that.
