We have reopened & are seeing patients. We have been reaching out to those we had to cancel during the shutdown in attempts to reschedule. If we have been unble to connect, please give the office a call to reschedule when you are ready. We have changed our hours, now open Monday - Thursday 9am - 4pm. We have also changed some protocalls, asking that masks be worn into the waiting room area, patients only in the waiting room or only 1 parent or guardian accompany as needed (in efforts to limit numbers in the waiting room) & we are increasing disinfecting protocals already in place.

The brief descriptions below are designed to familiarize you with our staff's training, professional credentials and work experience. Dennis R. Mooney is a graduate of Loyola University and the Loyola School of Dentistry in Chicago, Illinois. He served several years as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Public Health Service, which brought him to Tallahassee, Florida.
It includes descriptions of our office location, including a map and directions, hours, appointment scheduling, insurance acceptance and billing policies. We are no longer closed during lunch hours. This was done to prevent opportunities for possible cross contamination by leaving & returning to the office in the middle of the day.

I can't recommend Dr. Mooney enough. I saw him when I was a kid and recently started going back. I've had terrible experiences with dentists drilling before I'm fully numb, and I expressed my fears and anxiety to office staff and Dr. Mooney himself, and I was met with empathy and compassion. Everyone has been so kind and comforting, and they've made me feel welcome and calm. Highly recommend.

I put 5 stars to make sure this gets on here. Make sure u check the reviews no matter what. My son went in with an abscess and was in excruciating pain. We r not talking pain we are talking pain that passes ones comprehension of pain. I called to see if he can get anything for pain and under no circumstances would they help. This is beyond ridiculous.
I can understand the town being full of people who are addicts but what about those who need help with pain that are in pain. I am so not happy with this Dr.s office. Do not spend your money somewhere that doesn't care how much pain u r in or who doesn't mind taking your money though. Shame on you Dr. Shame on you!

My family has seen Dr. Mooney for 16 years and has always been taken care of very well. He is kind & experienced. Google allows people with fictitious names to write reviews, if you're not willing to say who you are you shouldn't write reviews. You also shouldn't be allowed to review a place you've never been to. Just my opinion.

This place is a butcher shop do not go there they do not tell you the truth and do horrible service they lie to me for almost a year now to get my teeth implanted and now they're telling me it's going to take another 6 months that just shows you the kind of unprofessionalism they have there I would drive another hundred miles before I go to that place again they are horrible especially the management

Since me and my son both started going we have nothing but good and positive experiences. They are nice and friendly and treat everyone with great respect. Dr. Mooney is great as well. They are fast with appointments and me and my son both make appointments the same day. It's a nice quite environment. Love going even though I have to travel 30 mins to get here I will to get such great service.
