The absolute best dentist I have ever been seen. Extremely knowledgeable and skilled with a great bedside manner. The staff were all professional and so very nice.

Snobby office and unfriendly staff. I scheduled a new patient appointment for cleaning online localmed, which is offered at their website. I scheduled for 4pm and received a confirmation email. Then 3 days before my appointment, I received an email stating confirm your appointment at 3pm. I called the office, the staff said well we tried to call you to change your appointment to 3pm because we cannot do cleaning at 4pm.

So why you offer a spot that is not available and how can a dentist's office change appointment time without confirming with patients first? this I consider to be very rude. Then the morning of the appointment, the staff called, oh we need to cancel your appointment for this afternoon. I know the office is closed for Good Friday, but as a physician myself, we rarely ever cancel appointments on the same day because we value patients' time and we do not change patients' appointment time without confirming with them first, it is disrespectful to patients. I was referred here by my husband who is a patient, I will convince him to take his business somewhere else too. Very rude staff and office management is chaotic.

Everyone was super nice and comforting. I haven't been to the dentist in a minute so I was a little nervous but mark answered all my questions about my oral health. I can't wait to go back

I have been seeing Dr. Roman Kotlarek for more than 20 years now. He is extremely professional and careful with his care. The entire staff at Roman Dental are phenomenal. I always feel safe and happy whenever I am there. Even after moving to the other side of Houston I still make to the drive to see them! I highly recommend Dr Kotlarek and his entire Roman Dental practice.

I was very impressed with my first visit at Roman Dental. Jeanie did an excellent job of explaining things and making sure that I was comfortable with the treatment plan. Dr. Roman also explain things thoroughly and answered all my questions.

Unfortunately I was not happy with my experience at Roman Dental. I was there for almost 2 hours and my actual dental cleaning was less than 20mins. They pushed deep cleaning and when I said no she told me then I couldn't have my teeth cleaned, until the dentist came in and said it was fine. They spent more time taking x rays and pictures then actually cleaning my teeth. I appreciate the thoroughness of trying to educate you on your teeth and the pictures but they should put that same effort into cleaning your teeth as well.

Dr. Kotlarek is professional and able to put patients at ease. Going to the dentist can cause a lot of anxiety and feel impersonal. This is not the case at Roman Dental. Dr. Kotlarek and his staff do not come across as judgmental; they are sincere and empathetic and provide professional outstanding care. Dr. Roman clearly takes pride in his work and does everything in his power to ensure patients leave with teeth that look good and are healthy. I highly recommend Roman Dental and will continue to trust them with my dental care needs.

I have been going to Dr. Koltarik For 22 years. He is an amazing dentist. I could not imagine going to anyone else. If I moved out of Houston I would still find a way to keep him as my dentist. On top of that, everyone on his team are the best I have ever interacted with in any medical environment. Five stars for them too

Dr. Kotlarek and Jenny ( hygienist) were great as always ( I am using Roman dental services since I came to Houston in 2009 and I always rated it five stars), but this time I only rate 3 stars because I had a bad experience with Julie. I asked before I scheduled deep cleaning ( I have it done every two years) if my insurance pay for it. She said "yes", but when I came to her desk to pay my portion, it turned out that I have to pay practically a full amount, because I reached annual maximum.

She had all my information before the procedure ( I have all dental work done only at "Roman dental") and should let me know the situation. Or, at least say, that I have to call my insurance to find out. Olivia, who worked there before, was always accurate and I knew exactly how much I would pay from the pocket.

I had another visit with my dentist, this time I had a terrible toothache, unfortunately Dr. Kotlarek couldn't save it, however, he explain the procedure for the extraction, during the surgery, he was very concerned of my comfort. I really appreciate Dr. Kotlarek and assistant for caring of patients like me. Thank you Dr. Kotlarek and Team. And again I'd like to recommend Roman Dental to everyone!

Was able to make an appointment the day before due to a recommendation from my Dr. An assessment was given and treatment was performed which will relieve the pain I was experiencing. Great dentist and experience!

Dr. Kotlarek has been my dentist for 20 plus years. He is absolutely fantastic for all your dental care needs. He is professional, explains everything in detail and is always concerned about your level of comfort. He is very personable and welcoming. I greatly recommended him! Great staff as well!

The staff was really friendly I made a same day appointment and they were able to get me in and accommodate me. When the dentist came in to see me he went above and beyond to explain where my pain was coming from and the best steps to move forward. I am looking forward to going back and starting my procedures

Rebecca the Hygienist is fantastic ! Very personable, thorough and knowledgeable. Thankfully I haven't needed to have any work done by the Dentist himself but happy with the overall staff at this office. I'm also happy that they continue their Covid protocols with temperature checks, plexiglass, and covid questionnaires.

Dr. Kotlarek and his staff is the BEST DENTIST I've ever gone to, and I've been to a lot! He's very gentle, and cares about YOUR teeth. He gives you options, on what you need to have done, then he will tell you, what he would do. I've never had a Dentist like him before, so caring, his staff too. I told him I came in one time, and you have me FOR LIFE!

He is that GOOD! Had my teeth cleaned today by Rebecca, she is AWESOME! She was so gentle, and so good, I really feel like I received the BEST cleaning I'v EVER had! I even called the office, after I got home, and told them how satisfied I was, and to put on my chart, to ALWAYS have HER to clean my teeth!

Roman dental are in a word "Excllent!" They provide and excellent service for all your dental needs. I've been going to Roman Dental for more than 10 years, and would not consider going anywhere else for my dental treatment.

I have been going to Roman Dental since 1999. They have continued to treat me and my wife just like we are part of their family.

I commend the hard working team at Roman Dental for providing smooth and efficient dental care to their patients. From the moment I walked through the front doors, to the treatment chair and back to the check out desk, I felt well taken care of and satisfied with the quality of care I received. All the precautions taken during this pandemic are exceptional at this office.

I was impressed with the sanitizers and lysol available to use, two sinks in each treatment room to wash your hands at and protective equipment used by the whole team. The assistants wiped down equipment immediately after handling it and ensured a clean and disinfected environment. Dr. Kotlarek is great at his technique when giving injections because I didn't feel anything when I received anesthetic.

I would highly recommend this office to anyone in need of a caring and knowledgeable Dentist. I can say my dental visit was painless and I look forward to returning for my future dental needs.

WORST DENTIST EVER! I went with Dr Kotlarek 4 years ago and every time that I went they increased the amount of payment I had to pay On Teeth #10 I paid more than 2,000 and now another dentist told me he didn't even clean the cavity before doing the tooth canal, that had cause a bigger infection I email him and his answer was that he did his best Really?

Now the treatment to fix his terrible job will cost me more than $5,000 Unbelievable! if you don't want to lose your teeth, money and your time DON'T GO TO ROMAL DENTAL

Me & husband has been going there for a while. Service has been good. But what pissed us off is that they always try to up sell for deep cleaning or more when all we want is just simple cleaning. It does not just happen to us. Personally, I do not think that our teeth is in such a bad health. We floss and brush our teeth daily. Been to other dentists and not as bad as what Roman dental try to scare us into deep cleaning.

Our friends whom we referred, stopped going there since Jan. He encountered similar situation and he just walked out of the clinic. We and our friends will not visit this clinic anymore.

I love Roman Dental so much! I have been coming here for over 6 years and had an amazing experience. Dr Kotlarek is the best DDS I have ever met! I highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Kotlarek and his staff are great. He did a root canal on me and I felt nothing, zero pain! He does excellent work, pristine, and does whatever necessary to make me comfortable, which is very hard for me at the dentist. Very friendly and professional, highly recommend!

Read Cassie's review below that exact thing happened to me today. Janie the DH was very nice presenting her sales pitch and as soon as I said no to her recommend treatment, my visit turned on a dime. She seemed agitated and very rough with her cleaning, leaving my mouth sore. The doc was nice, he really needs to consider her as the face of his practice. For those other reviewers that gave 5's maybe they have never had a nice cleaning, because her's was terrible. New pt beware

I first went to Roman Dental in 1995, when the practice was pretty new. I needed fairly extensive work, and Dr. Kotlarek installed a 6 teeth bridge that lasted 22 years! I have this summer started major dental work again with 3 implants and 6 new crowns. I have never had good teeth. It is genetic, and I have never liked going to the dentist, but Dr. Kotlarek is wonderful, very gentle, explains all the process in details, and never once did I hurt from the procedure.

He just raised my sinus, did a bone graft, and installed 3 implants. The surgery was a success, I was sour for a couple of days, but following his orders, and taking the meds he prescribed, I was fine within 48 hours. His rates are not the cheapest but they are not the highest. I would trust anyone else with my teeth!

Dr. Kotlarek is, may I say, AMAZING. His staff is friendly, courteous and have made me feel like family every time I have gone to see Dr. Kotlarek. I got all my wisdom teeth out with him this past week and I have to say that I am very glad I went to do this procedure at his office. He has even followed up with me over calls to make sure that I am doing well, I have never had that treatment from a Doctor as a patient before. I greatly appreciate it and it shows that he cares about his patients, which is rare to find now a days.

I've been coming to Roman Dental since 2006 and Dr. Kotlarek has treated me very well as a patient. I've been very happy with the work him and his dental assistants have done on my teeth over the years. I highly recommend him to my friends if they need Dental work completed.

The staff here is wonderful! They are friendly, professional, and Dr K is great. We moved out further into the suburbs, but will make the drive for Dr K.

Great office! Staff is very friendly: Angie and Olivia in front office are so helpful, Rebecca and Janie are so patient and explained everything to me. The dr was also very nice. Office is also very clean. I would definitely recommend this office.

This place is great! I've been here a few times over the course of a few years and even if they are "higher priced" according to some other reviews I certainly feel like you get what you pay for! I had no pain the whole time. The Dr. and his assistant Tiffany were amazing and very attentive! If you want a quality job and a no pain experience I would definitely see them!

I was given a plan of what my treatment was going to cost per tooth when I left my first consultation and felt like that was a very honest way to do business. Dr. K is awesome I will continue to go here!

Thought we would try a new dentist closer to home so we tried Roman. This place operates quite the scam. Telling me and my spouse we both needed work that we really didn't and of course we thought they were making correct recommendations. For some reason they had zero idea of how much out insurance would pay so we reluctantly agreed. Our previous honest dentist would pick up the phone and have an answer for us right away with no surprises.

Come to find out Roman was trying to double charge both us and the insurance company. I have always had near perfect dental health but Roman will scare you into anything. We have since returned to our old dentist to find out we were correct in our assumptions. Guess what, we still get random bills from them. Ugh, maybe they should be reported.

One word: BEWARE. I would definitely NOT recommend Roman Dental. I was forced to find a new dentist after my old dentist, whom I loved, retired. I tried Roman Dental after a recommendation from a friend and was happy there for awhile. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful, but I began to grow suspicious when at each appointment they found a new dental problem (multiple cavities, gum recession, etc.) Having this amount of dental problems was very unusual for me.

I have regularly attended the dentist (every 6 months) since I was a child. I've had cavities before, but not the level of problems that were suggested by Roman Dental. Being conscientious about my dental health, I initially followed up on their suggestions: filling cavities, purchasing and using medicated mouthwash. But, after they suggested I needed an expensive deep cleaning, I decided to get a second opinion.

The dentist who offered the second opinion stated that I did not need the deep cleaning and could not see why anyone would ever suggest I needed a deep cleaning. I have not been back to Roman Dental since. It is my opinion that they have unethical dental practices - suggesting unnecessary, expensive dental procedures. I would definitely be wary of any recommendations they make.

This is a wonderful dental practice. Could not ask for a better experience. Staff is professional, doctor is thorough and informative, office is very clean and comfortable. Will definately return.

After a horrible experience at another local dentist I had been searching for a dental office that didn't make me want to run into oncoming traffic, and I found it! Everyone at Roman Dental is friendly and makes you feel welcome. The services provided are top notch. You're in a room that is seperated from other patient which a HUGE plus! My cleaning was great and I can't wait to go back.yes I actually said that about the dentist!
