Great experience and wonderful dental office. The staff were all kind and immediately made me feel very comfortable. As a dentist myself, I am very particular to any work that needs to be done. I decided to see Dr. Chae because I've admired his work from social media for quite some time. Throughout the appointment, he provided efficient care with a gentle touch. He was extremely meticulous and I am amazed of the final result. Dr. Chae is truly is a master of his craft and I highly recommend this dental team.

Hands down. Dr. Chae and his team are beyond amazing! It's too bad that I've taken almost a decade to find this group. Dr. Chae is very detailed and precise with his work. What I appreciate most is that he takes the time to thoroughly teach me everything I need to know about my teeth during each visit. Although I am still illiterate in dental terms, I can say my knowledge has definitely increased! I hate driving, but the 45 min commute to his office is well worth my time and smile. My previous dentist in Monterey Park repeatedly tried to sell me a procedure I didn't need. I've had 3 visits with Dr. Chae. My sense is he is detailed, careful, and thorough, which is what I look for in a medical professional. Cares about doing excellent work. Technically, Dr. Chae is gentle and skilled. Patient with questions. Gives advice based on medicine, not dollars. Uses the intraoral camera to have the patient understand more and be more of a participant in his/her dental experience. His office staff all have great dental and social skills. June, his office manager, is very knowledgeable about insurance matters. Would highly recommend Dr. Chae!

This is by far the best place to get your teeth checked up and done. Why you ask? Well pictures are worth a thousand words and my previous dentist in south OC was so damn lazy and did such a crappy work at fixing my cavities with fillings that I had to have them redone. Now my teeth actually feels clean thanks to the wonderful people at this dental group and Dr James C

Dr. Chae and his staff are extremely friendly, honest, organized, knowledgeable, and efficient. Their service and quality of care is unlike any other dentist office, I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get the proper care for their teeth. Dr Chae and his assistants were able to get all my cavities removed without any problems, and Dr Chae beautifully filled my worn teeth to brand new!

At one point we were worried that I might need a root canal, but Dr. Chae was extremely detailed and skilled to completely remove all the cavity even so close to the nerve, without needing a root canal. He is a great doctor and super friendly to his staff and patients. I appreciate the staff in being super helpful with explaining insurance benefits and figuring out all the copay and coverage, and I look forward to any future appointments with this office!

One of the worst dental office experience i came across. The front desk is horrible and unfriendly. their paperwork is unprofessional (can't even read the detail of the questions). Afterwards whem I request for a copy of xray they purposely try to come up with excuse not to share. Avoid this clinic.

I am a dentist practicing in NYC. I have been looking for a skilled and trustworthy dentist to take care of my dental needs for the past year. I came across Dr. James Chae via social media. I was so impressed by his work and noticed many of his patients being dentists as well- traveling from all parts of the country to see him! I decided to make the trip from NYC all the way to LA to have my work done by Dr. Chae.

I have made the best decision in my life. This doctor is honest, so skilled, gentle but most of all an artist and perfectionist in the field of dentistry! I am so grateful to Dr. Chae and his staff: Dianne at the front desk, who made sure I could make my flight back to nyc back on time by moving patients around in the schedule. His assistants Mauri and Rosemary are the sweetest and most gentle people, who made sure I felt comfortable throughout. I came here because my insurance changed. I am up to date with dentist. I get x Ray and 2 teeth cleaning every year. When I came here, I did an x Ray, the dentist told me I had 10 cavities. I was in shock. It would of cost 2k to fix everything. I didn't believe them. I went back to my old dentist and paid cash instead. I had 0. This place is scam. The girls in the front were nice tho. They offered me water while waiting too.

I live in orange county and come all the way to Diamond Bar to see Dr Chae. He's knowledgeable and well respected. Office is up to date and he and his team will make sure you are well taken care of.

Dr. Chae is an amazing dentist! Professional, meticulous, and a perfectionist. He listens to my concerns as a patient and immediately takes them into consideration. He's extremely honest. In fact, I even asked if I should get an inlay and he said he doesn't recommend it at all and prefers to go the more conservative route and only do that in the future if I need it.

This tells me that he doesn't over treat just to make money. If he recommends something, it's because I really need it. The office is extremely clean and sanitary. I never have to wait and everything is very organized and done on time. I would recommend this office to anyone that wants quality dental care!

This dental office was my 2nd opinion for some major dental work. I 100% recommend. I was so glad I have found Diamond Bar Dental. The dentist in staff was very patient with my concerns throughout the process and I appreciate everything! I have 3 crowns, along with a lot of fillings, it separates 3 appointments to have all done. My 1st appointment with Dr. Chae, he did my 3 fillings and crown work last week, he is SUPER detail orientated, the 3 of fillings all look very natural. Such a pain free procedure and a great experience.

I had a great experience at diamond bar dental. I like how Dr. Chae takes before and after pictures so I know exactly what is happening. The staff is always helpful, they always take the time to answer any of my questions.

We consistently leave 100% satisfied! No pain with the numbing shot for fillings and his cosmetic work is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Can't even tell a gap was ever there!

Efficient dentist and assistants, thoughtful staff, and excellent technology! 10/10 I just finished my fifth trip to Dr. Chae, and I'm surprised I haven't reviewed yet. I was a kid who always feared dentist visits for the pain. I totally wish I had come here as a kid - my teeth might have been spared some horrors. My friend suggested this place when I had a weekend tooth emergency (the crown broke off!) This office scheduled me for the next day (a Saturday - so convenient!) and fixed the tooth so that it was not only beautiful, but healthy and clean inside the crown (because it wasn't.ick).

And unlike other dental visits before, my teeth and gums don't hurt for days after. Having found such a good dentistry, I've been having all my dental issues taken care of this year. The last few experiences have been comfortable, quick, and painless. It's even fun and interesting, because Dr. Chae takes progress pictures, and walks you through what he did to fix your teeth. I'm proud of my teeth now, and floss every day. I'm also happy when I go to my appointments, and happy when I leave! I honestly can't recommend him and his team enough. SUPER thanks!

Before and After I'm scared of the dentist period. This is my first time I ever had excellent service, where I felt comfortable and educated on what is going on with my teeth. You can ask any question and the doctor and staff will answer. Staff is super friendly as well! Totally recommend!

I have been a patient for about 13 years here. I would really recommend this dental office. Dr. Chae and his entire staff is so welcoming and very kind. Unfortunately about two weeks ago I had the worst toothache. I called the office to come in and of course they told me to come in as soon as possible I arrived and was attended quickly and diagnosed that I needed a root canal.

I was in tears from the pain, but Dr. Chae and his amazing staff came to my rescue and acted quickly Diana called the endodontic specialist to schedule a appointment for me. I highly recommend this dental office.

This place may be okay to fix cavities and such but DO NOT RECOMMEND getting crowns done here. I was talked into changing my perfectly fine crown for over 5 years to a "new" one which was made not the right size to begin with, let alone the pain which I was taking pain killers for over a week, i had to. drive back and forth for "adjustments" for it to finally be the "right size.

Only after 2 months, it fell off when I was flossing and when I came for my visit, his justification and question for me was if i have eaten "sticky candy"?! regardless of what I have eaten this question was inappropriate and what happened was unacceptable. Dr. Chae is a nice man and an okay dentist to fix cavities, but when it comes to crowns he seems absolutely incompetent. i have been with them for over 4 years but decided this time that I AM NOT COMING BACK AGAIN!

They are decent with regular cleaning but Dr. Chae definitely pressured me into replacing a crown that there was nothing wrong with to begin with, something that previous reviewers have experienced. The crown he put on me has since cracked when my original one was just fine. I don't recommend this place.

Dr James Char did my filling this morning, the technique and equipments he use in his office is so amazing. My tooth turn out better than I expected, can not even tell it there is any filling on it, it look so natural. What an artist! He use micro camera catch every little cavity and clean them out. Prevent any future damage to the teeth and fill after. Cavity that naked eye can't even see without micro camera. It make me feel really safe now it's all filled

Dr Chae and his staff are the best in diamond bar! Let me tell you, I have always had a fear of visiting the dentist. His staff makes you feel very comfortable from the beginning and Dr. Chae is an expert at what he does! I highly recommend Diamond Bar Dental!

Wonderful place! So clean! Organized! The dentist was amazing. Never felt any pain. He was gentle. Everyone was super courteous. Never had such a great dentist visit. Wish my insurance would be covered by them.

I read the reviews prior to coming in and thought about checking it out since a filling fell out a few weeks prior. So far got a deep cleaning and repaired what could've been a root canal according to the dentist. I like that the main guy is very observant and a perfectionist when it comes to his work. He showed me before and after photos, which I don't deny his expertise.

I had no dental insurance so the price quoted was high, especially the $65 office visit regardless of the service or consultation you get. A bit pricey to me. On the plus side, the ladies there are friendly.

I went to Dr. Chae for a second opinion after a different dentist told me that i had a cracked tooth and needed a crown for $900 after insurance. Dr. Chae explained that it was not a crack, but rather just a groove in tooth and that crown was not necessary. He is very thorough about explaining the details about your teeth and shows detailed pictures of them.

He does not push you into getting treatments done but rather explains the details, makes recommendations, and leaves the decisions upto you. I got my old fillings replaced and cavities removed by him and I can say the procedure was painless! He makes sure that you are comfortable and takes his time for a flawless outcome.

Ended up going to another dentist office. Chae performed my root canal. There was an extra chamber that he forgot to clean out. All that money for nothing.

I have been looking for a great dentist since I moved back to Southern California from the bay area. I have been disappointed with every one until I met Dr. Chae. I understand dentistry is a business but every other office I've been to has pushed invisaline and whitening so hard I eventually left. Dr. Chae mentioned them briefly and said if I. was interested let him know.

Probably more importantly he IMMEDIATLY found an issue I had mentioned to the last two dentists I went to, a cracked tooth. How do two professionals miss a cracked tooth that I told them to look for and Dr. Chae find it so fast without my even mentioning it? Dr. Chae also made a point of telling me about his picture.
