Services
If you have a smart phone or computer with the capacity for Facebook or Zoom you can have your visit from wherever you are. Your provider team will email you a Zoom link and Meeting ID. Your patient portal is a secure website where you can view and update your personal and health information, as well as communicate with Sierra Family. To access your patient portal, give your email address to a team member of Sierra Family. Within 24 hours, you will receive an email with instructions on setting up your personal patient portal.

The medical clinic is great. Dr. Nielsen and Dr. Matthias were great, and the nurses were wonderful. I had an especially good experience with the nurse Cecily. She was the most caring and helpful nurse that I had ever encountered. But my dental experience was very bad unfortunately. I went for a filling (half of my filling fell out so I needed to replace it).
I had Dr. Jacques. The procedure was painful and uncomfortable. The communication from the dentist was poor-I felt several times during the proceDure that I will choke on my saliva-and it was not communicated to me what to do if I started suffocating from my saliva-I was just told not to move while drilling was being done. But the worst part of it, is that I had HORRIBLE pain for 2 and a half weeks after the filling!
I am not just talking the usual post-filling sensitivity, I am talking intense throbbing pain in my jaw and tooth. I had to take pain meds every day for almost 3 weeks. I have NEVER experienced this kind of pain after a dental procedure! Then when I came into the office after 1 month complaining of this pain, the Dr did NOTHING to address this problem, such as finding out why I had the pain, explaining to me if anything was wrong, she just put desensitizing medication (which didn't help), didn't do X-rays to check if anything was wrong, didn't ask me questions, didn't really even check that tooth at all.
I felt absolutely disregarded as a patient, unfortunately. It has been more than two months since the procedure-I still have horrible sensitivity on that tooth, I cannot eat or drink normally on that side of my mouth. Now she is saying I might need a root canal. That tooth was completely FINE before she did the filling-no pain, no sensitivity. Very bad experience with the Dr. however the dental nurses were super sweet, and the front desk staff was wonderful.

I've got some pretty amazing Dr's shout out to Dr. LAURA AND ALYSE both of them listen to me and really care for my well being. ive had different Dr's and I've never had doctors like these lady's I just wannna say thank you for listening to me. Because someone like me who has Fibromyalgia nobody understands or listens to you when you say you're in pain and hurting.
They don't make me feel crazy. "I've had Dr's make me feel that way." I fell cared for and that's what all doctors should be like. If you need a family dr Laura is amazing. And if you need a. Therapist ALYSE is amazing. I feel like these 2 lady's are the only ones that have listened to me.

I have been a patient here for a few years, and the dentists there are absolutely fantastic! This is not a review that should reflect them, but rather the newer secretarial staff. When the office closed down at the beginning of the pandemic, I was told my appointments would have to be canceled but I would receive a call back as soon as they could reschedule. Well, come April 2021 I still had not received a call from them.
I called to see what the issue was and the secretary I spoke with was incredibly rude, unhelpful, short, and unprofessional. Luckily with my new health care plan I can choose to go elsewhere and I will! This woman is not friendly and does't really seem to know what she's doing at all. That's too bad bc the dental professionals there have been amazing.

I was in a tight spot with my health insurance, and unable to get into an office to have an exam. First time going to a medical facility that didn't actually feel like a hospital, and it's very nice. The people that work here really care about the community and the well-being of its' residents. Be nice to them, during my first visit, I witnessed them accommodate every person who showed up with nothing but grace. They are there to help!

Ive been here several times and my experience has always been great. My husband on the otherhand was so upset at the way he was treated the one time he went, and the way he saw the dentis speek to another paitient. He never would go back. Not sure what happened. Bad day or what. My personal experience is good and I remain a patient there.

It's a little bit of a drive but a good place for your medical medical needs I was going there when I first moved to Grass Valley Calif. When my health wasn't so hot I transferred to Chapa de it is also good but the federal funded process rules make it hard to get the real help you need so I'm going back to sierra for my health and future health, I didn't think I'd live this long who knew but I've got grandkids and I'd like to stick around for awhile.
