DON'T come here! My child had a filling done and felt everything! Was in pain but didn't say anything thinking it was normal. I was angry when she told me! Now let's talk braces for my other child; HORRIBLE. Dr Ly, would lecture and was rude to my child EVERY appointment because of Ly's failure to keep the brackets attached charging $20 for every time they fell off!
We hadn't even been gone from the office for 30 minutes before she lost 2! Without eating or drinking! I've been debating on writing this for a long time as my kids were still getting services here. I'm done! This office is a rip off, services are wayyyy inflated! don't trust them and lady up front is nice but annoying af! Turn back and find another dentist/orthodontist!

The dental office and the staff are very nice. The disappointment comes when they assess your teeth and gums and notify you that you need laser cleaning that will take out all the germs and things stuck under the gums. Being first time patients, my wife & I, I get the exam and X-rays but trying to tell you that the procure is the only option is a bit of an overkill as well as upselling to the max.
Even with insurance it was going to cost close to $500! Keep in mind we only wanted our routine cleaning but was told that this was our ONLY option for the both of us! We normally get our teeth cleaned every 6 months but it's been 10 months since we moved from another state. It was shocking that there are dental offices that practice this way.
The staff and the dentist are very nice but the business practice needs to be reviewed. Had a really bad taste in my mouth, pun intended. Unfortunately, I can not recommend this dental practice. I don't normally write negative reviews but when we are told that this procedure is our only option, people need to be warned.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! As a new patient in Feb. 2022, I was sort of nervous and embarrassed upon visiting this clinic due to my unimpressive dental health. However, the staff (Viola, Penny, and Dr. Ly) I interacted with were so very friendly, respectful, and professional from the moment I walked through the door until leaving. My nervousness & embarrassment were quickly extinguished.
I was provided a very friendly tour of the clinic due to my first time visiting. This clinic is very clean and have safety protective mechanisms in place due to Covid. The atmosphere in this clinic is so relaxing. My dental concern was taken care of to my satisfaction, and any questions were encouraged. I highly recommended Sky Canyon Dental for anyone's dental care.

My family and I have been coming here for the past year. One of the best dental clinics we have ever been to. The staff, especially Viola at the front desk, provide the best customer service. Dr. Ly always meets or exceeds our expectations. Nothing but solid A+ treatment from my daughter's braces to cleanings. Our dental insurance and coverage is a breeze with Viola on top of it. She provides the estimates and what is covered so there are no surprises. This place does make you feel like family!

Sky Canyon Dental is so amazing. The staff is so nice and make you feel so comfortable. As for the getting work done, Dr. Ly made it so painless and everything came out amazing. I had a root canal done and it felt so natural. The temporary crown was done so amazing and it was such a breeze when I came back for the permanent one. You really feel like family there!

I don't recommend going to this dentist. Sure, the actual dental services are okay, however, they will constantly try to sell you services you don't need, and when you refuse, they try to make you feel bad about it. They will say you should have a particular dental procedure and when you ask if it's necessary, they will say no, but it is recommended, however they don't tell you that upfront.
The lady at the front desk is pushy, and will call constantly to try to schedule your appointments. It's funny that other reviewers say that they are asked to give a good review on yelp, but the lady at the front desk said they are not familiar with yelp, and that they ask their clients to review them on google reviews. Maybe their yelp reviews aren't as strong, so they try to steer people away from it. Bottom line is that this dentist is all about the money. I would look elsewhere.

Terrible. Did not even get an opportunity to see the dentist because I was standing at the front desk, waiting to be checked in. Meanwhile, multiple people looked at me while continuing to have a conversation amongst each other. Terrible customer service. I waited long enough, and simply left. Would not recommend.

I absolutely hate going to the dentist it's never fun! I think we can all agree. With that being said I have neglected my teeth for quite some time and put off a checkup/cleaning for over 5 years now. I scheduled at sky canyon and got a deep cleaning and 5 fillings and they were great all very friendly and professional, my friend got 4 fillings no deep cleaning at his dentist this past month and he left with a headache and called out of work the next day. I never had a headache and went to work the next day. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new dentist go to sky canyon dental.

I've been going here for years, Viola is always so friendly as is the entire staff. I've always been taken in as soon as I walk in which makes for a quick and pleasant visit. They're willing to work with my schedule with late appointments and have been able to squeeze me in on short notice. Glad to have a great dentist close to my house.

First of all, I will say that I really WANTED to like this place. Everyone was extremely friendly when I came in, and during the initial xray and examination process, etc. However, after the initial examination, I started to feel like I was getting robbed. I have had no issues for the past several years, but I recently moved, so I hadn't been to the dentist in about a year.
So I was a little susceptible to reacting to "bad news" about my teeth. I was told that I had gum disease and they needed to do an immediate deep cleaning. This was going to cost me about $450 out of pocket, in addition to my insurance coverage. They also told me I needed an $800 night guard, but I declined that, because I knew that you could get decent night guards for much less.
Then they made me sign documents to agree to treatment and performed the treatment before I could leave. So I didn't have an opportunity to research the treatment, or to check what my insurance coverage would actually be. Granted, partially my own fault. I should have said that I wanted to think about it and reschedule, but the way it was presented, I felt like it was IMPERATIVE that I get the procedure done immediately.
About a week later, I get a call that I owe an ADDITIONAL $500. They said that they don't guarantee what the insurance will pay, and what they provided before was just an estimate. I have never been presented with an estimate before and then told AFTER I had paid for the service that I actually owed 112% more than the original estimate. 10-20%, even 30% more, sure. Happens.
Usually not AFTER you've paid for something, but insurance is different, so when they left me a voicemail initially saying I owed a balance, I figured, ok, $50-$100, I wouldn't be surprised. $500 more is a shock. There are many ways they could have managed my bill-shock. There are many ways they could have gone about being more specific with how much it would cost. Needless to say, I will never be returning to this Dentist. Unfortunately, it means I have to find another new dentist.

First time going to a dentist since I've moved out here, decided on this place because it was close and have great reviews. It's a nice and cozy office. I went in not expecting to get much done, but I got xrays & teeth cleaned all within an hour. So amazed by how fast things go here! Also love how I don't have to wait months for an appointment! Update: went back for a crown and everything looks good now!

These guys are great from start to finish when's the last time you went to a dentist and they actually saw you when they said they would. Up front and tell you what it's going to cost before don't pull you off to room to up sell you were you feel like your buying a new car. I'm not proud of it but I have had at lest 15000 dollars worth of dental work done in the last 10 years in just saying I will go back here if I need more

So you've pulled your list of providers that are "in network" and are in the process of cross checking the yelp reviews to narrow down your options - am I right? That's what led me to Sky Canon, I didn't have a personal recommendation so I had to lean on my fellow Yelpers and I'm glad I did. First things first, this office is tech savvy!
You can make appointments online, confirm appointments via text and download new patient forms from their website. Viola (receptionist) greeted me by name with a friendly smile when I arrived, handed me a new patient gift and efficiently processed me in. I was called back moments later. The Dental Hygienists were incredibly sweet and friendly. They made me feel welcome and did my x-rays.
Each reviewed the paperwork I had filled out and asked appropriate questions. From there Dr Lien K Ly introduced herself reviewed my paperwork with me and then reviewed my digital x-rays on a screen directly in front of me and explained in detail each area of concern promptly answering all my questions in laments terms. She then gave me her recommendations. Viola appeared moments later to review what was covered by my insurance, what my co-pays would be and gave me my options.
I decided to move forward with a deep cleaning on the spot but it was close to closing time. Sheena, one of the fabulous technicians didn't even hesitate, she offered to say as long as it took so i could get it done today. I had heard deep cleanings can be painful but Sheena had a delicate touch and it was over before I knew it. I have several other procedures scheduled and will update as I go.
But so far I would highly recommend based on my first visit today. The only con -- the chair is not very comfortable, and I actually wish there was a TV in the ceiling like at my daughter's Pediatric Dentist office. :)

I had an emergency during my visit out to the IE and luckily my friends referred me to this office! My friends have been going to this dentist for quite some time and knew they would be the perfect place to help me! As soon as I showed up, they were very accommodating during my emergency and everyone was so friendly and comforting! Dr. Ly was gentle and sensitive to my needs and addressed all my concerns.
I really liked how she listened and explained everything to me clearly. Not only that, she was gentle and my visit was painless :. I need a sky canyon dental near me! It's also a plus when the office looks clean and inviting! I would definitely refer all my family and friends to Sky Canyon Dental!

Sky Canyon is the only place my family goes. Dr. Lien is the best dentist I have ever had and I've been coast to coast. Both Dr. Lien and Kim make your experience virtually painless and comfortable. And Viola works around your schedule and works with you to help you get the most from your insurance. Highly recommend Dr. Lien and her staff.
