Accidents or severe dental decay can lead to the loss of several teeth. If this happens, you may worry that your mouth may never look the same again. Further, the loss of teeth can make it more difficult to speak and eat on a daily basis. Thankfully, there is an effective and natural-looking solution to the aesthetic and functional problems lost teeth can cause.

Went for a filling today, and they were amazing. 20 minutes in and out, and they began with an excellent topical numbing ointment, so I barely felt the injection to numb the tooth area. I've been a patient here for more than a decade, and I really value the care I get here. I had a lot of dental work done as a child and wear a partial, and I love that I get great routine care here AND get the support for my partial when needed. Dr. Donahue and his staff know what they're doing and do it well.

I neglected my teeth for many years. I had gone to the dentist regularly for a long time, but a bad experience really turned me off, so I just quit going. 16 years later, I had no choice. In that time span, I had chipped teeth, rotten molars, discoloration, pain and a thick black layer behind my teeth that made me not even want to open my mouth too wide.
My first visit to Dr. Donahue was a huge step. I had to overcome my embarrassment. It was hard, but I did it. I can only admit this now, because my teeth are beautiful. No, I don't have implants. They are my teeth and a few crowns that I chose to have. I received excellent, patient and honest care. The staff is caring and kind. Dr. Donahue is an excellent dentist and encouraged me every step of the way. I highly recommend this office and would give them 10 stars if I could. If you have any fear or embarrassment, just go. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

I was very pleased that Donahue Dental took me right in for an emergency appointment. The staff was very friendly and professional, and I was impressed with the overall cleanliness of the facility - especially the waiting room (unlike my previous dentist's office). So impressed, in fact, that I have decided to move my entire family's dental healthcare to Donahue Dental.

I am sorry for the experience of the previous reviewer who said Dr. Donohue was only trying to make money. Both my daughter and I had the complete opposite experience. My daughter had a tooth break beyond repair on a Friday. She called the office and Dr. Donohue got her an appointment with an oral surgeon to have the tooth removed that afternoon at the last minute.
Since it was her last molar she had a few options: get it pulled and later get an implant or get it pulled and go without a tooth there (since it was the last tooth it's removal should not impact other teeth.) Dr. Donahue suggested that she didn't need the implant that she would be fine without it. She took this option and is fine. I also had an implant situation.
I have a primary tooth that never was lost or pulled since I have no secondary tooth behind it. My last dentist tried to get me to have it pulled and let her do an implant every time I had a cleaning. Dr. Donohue suggested we leave it alone until there was an actual reason to remove it. It had finally got loose on it's own and was time to go.
He removed it and did my implant surgery last week. I actually found this review as I prepared to write about the great experience I had with my surgery. I have had a great deal of dental work and the procedure was the most pain-free experience I have had at a dentist. Dr. Donohue discussed every aspect of the procedure before and during the procedure.
His office called the next day to follow up and he called himself the following day even giving me his personal contact information in case anything went wrong over the weekend. Top-notch care.

Great first visit! The staff are very courteous. The hygienist Jodie was very good at letting me know what and why they were doing things a certain way (ex: xrays, cleaning tools etc) which I loved. Dr. Donahue seems very down to earth and took time to answer any questions I had. So, far a great experience!

Okay, we made a last minute mistake by going here. We're in St Louis where we know nothing about the area for work reasons. My husband tried getting a couple of teeth fixed beacuse they hurt really bad tonight and we are stuck here for a few months during our dentists regualr business hours. This office 'say' they have emergency visits; however, they only will take x-rays and do a treatment plan so, that they can charge your insurance and screw you out of possibly finding a dentist that may want to actually help and isnt in it just for the money.
We go in, my husband says what's hurting and the only option that this quack gave him tonight was to pull the two teeth that have NOTHING WRONG with them and that holds his partial in and pulling the teeth would have taken longer than it would take to fill in the two teeth that was the actual problem. Im looking at this treatment plan and the only reason I can see that he would even want to do this is because he (the dentist) wants to put implants in where his partial is.
Or in other words, he wants money. There's no good reason to pull the good teeth that hold the parial in, that has nothing wrong with them. So, since he took the x-rays, the next dentist we go to, we will have to pay out of pocket plus the initial appointment. DO NOT GET SUCKED IN BY THIS PLACE! They have NO emergency appointments and DO NOT really want to help!
We should have known something was up since it's Veterans Day and they could get him in at 4:00 when we called at 3:30. Every reputable company with good reviewd was closed for the day. VERY BAD BUSINESS!
