Bloomington Dental and Chris A Neilson DDS have been involved in the St George community since 1997. Giving back is what makes a difference in many lives and we want to help those around us. This year we will be giving a scholarship to one student who is pursuing a career in the healthcare field or dentistry with a $1,000 scholarship to Dixie State University for the 22-23 school year.
A. The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends visiting a dentist at least twice a year for a check-up and a professional cleaning. Our office also recommends a minimum of two visits per year. A. Please call our office as soon as you determine that you have a dental emergency. If you have a dental emergency during regular business hours, we will be glad to work you into our schedule. After hours, over the weekend and during holidays, please call our office for the doctor's emergency contact number.

Dental implants are an alternative to ordinary dental bridges or dentures to fill in the gaps caused by missing teeth. We moved here in July & haven't found any dentists or primary care doctors yet. We did get a name from our former dentist. My husband had a dental emergency & couldn't get in to see the one that was recommended to us. We searched on Google & Dr Nielson/Bl99mington Dental came with high reviews. Long story short, we are *so* happy that we found them.
Everyone is just so nice & knowledgeable about our needs. I have TMJ & always dread going to get dental work, but everyone in the office were so accommodating to me needs. I would highly recommend Dr Nielson/Bloomington Dental to anyone & everyone.

The people here are very nice and friendly. They took care of me and my teeth feel very clean. The only bad thing I would have to say is my mother and I came here two separate times and we both experienced a super long wait for the dentist to come check us at the end. She said it took him about 20 minutes to come see her and I would say he took about 30 minutes to just come see me and say everything looked good.
I was there for an hour and a half so definitely one of the longest dental cleanings I've ever been to. Normally I'm at a cleaning at other places for about 45 minutes which I feel like makes more sense than one and a half hours. Lastly, the X-ray I got taken of my teeth was one of the longest ones I've ever had done as well and it hurt my mouth quite a bit.

While on vacation, a Veneer came off one of my top, front teeth! Dr. Nielsen was able to get me in within a few hours of my phone call. He didn't just cement/bond my Veneer on, he checked to make sure my original tooth was ok and did a quick oral check. Dr. Nielsen was kind, pleasant, understanding and very professional! The office staff was also very accommodating. I am SO GRATEFUL to Dr. Nielsen and his staff for taking such good care of me! Marcy S.
