Probably the best dental experience I've had. They made everything so easy, everything from calling my previous dentist to get my X-rays, to easy to fill forms, and was able to pull up my insurance super. Reception was very friendly and I was seen almost immediately. The hygienist was very friendly, helpful and made routine X-rays and check up a breeze. Dentist was very knowledgeable, made sure I had all my questions answered and had I had no concerns. There was also free 2hr parking.

I saw that a couple of people had left one star reviews with no comment - I'm assuming this is just trolling, because my experience with Great Junction Dental Practice has been nothing but excellent. Prior to my registration with Great Junction Dental Practice, I had been through several other practices and a string of disappointing experiences. With Great Junction, I have no complaints whatsoever - only praise.

First time to a dentist in 2 years due to COVID restrictions & moving to the US from Europe. Great new patient experience, from the friendliness at reception to the thorough dental clean. Clear treatment plan fully explained with a team who always had enough time for me. They do all the work with the insurance company, book your follow up appointments and leave you feeling extremely well looked after. I don't usually feel like this but am almost looking forward to my next visit.

Everyone here is very friendly. Made me feel like a part of a family. Honestly, I've never been to a dental office that was so welcoming. The dentist is very nice and gives you a detailed dental plan that meets YOUR goal. If you're worried about money, DONT. The team meets your expectations AND YOUR FINANCES. THIS PLACE IS GREAT.

The full office staff had been trained on proper reopening protocols. I was required to wear a mask into the office, was directed to hand sanitizer and had my temperature taken by a no contact forehead thermometer. The reception desk had the large Plexiglas barrier. My hygienist had full PPE including mask, gloves, hair covering and full face shield.
The office had multiple hepa filters running. I felt I could relax feeling that safety precautions had been followed to thebest standards. The visit begins with a disinfecting rinse. I then had x-rays, all within the same room and chair. Next, I had my teeth hand scaled by the experienced hygienist, Delores. Then Dr Iversen came in to do an examination and both he and the hygienist checked my mouth and tongue for any abnormalities.
I was given the good news of no further dentistry required. Delores set up my next cleaning appointment, gave me some "dental goodies" (ie. toothbrush, paste, floss etc.) and then escorted me from the dental station to the office exit. I would recommend this practice for their conscientious and warm care, which put me at ease, especially in this time of Covid reopening!

As someone who hasn't been to the dentist since I had my widsom teeth removed at 17, I was absolutely terrified when I got a persistent tooth ache that wouldn't let up- there are dozens of dental practices near Alaska junction so I flipped a coin, asked if this practice had any emergency appointments available and hoped for the best. Honestly I don't think I could have gotten luckier!
Every single person that Dr. Iversen keeps on staff is absolutely phenomenal. Corrine helped me sort out my insurance situation before my appointment even began, and I was actually brought back for my exam early. Throughout the entire process both Vanessa and Dr. Iversen were so considerate and I really felt like they were on my team. After the exam and a few dozen questions from me, the doctor explained the situation with my Luxury Bones and long story short, I needed a root canal to stop being in so much pain.
So I scheduled one for the next day, spent the rest of the night googling "how painful is a root canal" and after a lengthy self pep talk, showed back up the next morning for D-day. Honestly, it wasn't bad at all. Vanessa made sure that I was comfortable the ENTIRE time and I couldn't be more grateful. She got me a weighted blanket, let me listen to music, got me some Vaseline so that my lips weren't dry after having my mouth open for damn near 3 hours straight- she was just all around delightful and reassured my severely-prone-to-freaking-out self throughout the entire procedure that everything was going well. Dr. Iversen kept me updated on what exactly he was doing as he worked and I was somehow almost able to fall asleep with a couple of strangers digging around in my mouth and drilling holes in my head.
The best news? The entire procedure was 100% painless (probably because I had some dying nerves anyway but that's beside the point) and I actually felt no pain once the local anesthetic wore off either. Nobody likes having to go to the dentist, but this was about as pleasant as dental surgery gets. I probably have a few (or a few dozen) cavities that need to be filled even after all of this, so I look forward to coming back!
