Dr. Renuka Kumar

Dr. Kumar is super knowledgeable and professional. She is communicative and a great listener. She has a gentle touch. I highly recommend her.

So far so good! My first visit to the office, although complicated due to my case was a pleasant visit. Let's all agree, no one likes going to the dentist, but Renuka Kumar's office made a difficult visit a good experience. DDS Renuka was engaged in the process, was concerned that she was being attentive to my needs as a patient and put me at ease.

She explained all of the details with me, made sure all of my questions were answered and was authentically concerned and prepared to take care of my dental needs. I am not one who lightly provides reviews unless the service I am receiving meets my strict set of guidelines. My dental case is a complicated one, and my first visit was a very good one.

I would recommend Renuka Kumar for your dental needs and will be adding her to my circle of medical professionals as well as taking my son to her office for his dental needs. PS my dental hygienist was the best!

Dr. Kumar is so sweet, professional, thorough. I can tell that she is very passionate about what she does. She took the time to patiently explain everything to me. Constantly checking in with me during the procedure. I felt at ease and comfortable and I will for sure be returning. Sandra, the receptionist was so helpful and informative and Gloria, Dr. Kumar's assistant was so sweet and helpful as well.

When I lost my dental insurance, I went with an option that has her listed so I don't have to switch dentists. That's how much I like her. She is knowledgeable and professional. She understands my unique needs and takes a conservative approach. Her staff is helpful and kind. We are very happy with Dr. Kumar. 'We' are a family of 6.

Dr. Kumar was very informative and thorough. My hygienist, Anthony, was also lovely. Anthony was so friendly and accommodating; constantly checking in to see if I was comfortable. Finding a new dentist is always a pain but I was so lucky to find Dr. Kumar's practice.

Aka JoAnn My husband had a great first time visit and cleaning with Dr. Kumar. I too the same day had my first cleaning. Neither of us ever had our teeth cleaned by Doctor's! Talk about feeling special and in best of hands! Our car ride home was all smiles as we looked at each other's teeth. Omg again neither of us have left a cleaning at many other places with our teeth so shiny and white! We don't know what they used but, our teeth were beautiful! Thank you to the Doctor's and their awesome staff.

Good treatment, good information, nice office. But the patient faces the back (dark) corner of the room. Would be better to face the door or a window. Also when the dentist and assistant are talking about something on the x-ray, I would be good for the patient to see it and be part of the conversation. Otherwise, very satisfied.

I have seen Dr. Kumar for more than ten years. She is a wonderful, professional, and honest dentist. Dr. Kumar is truly concerned about me and my family. Her office is warm and friendly and they always run on schedule. I look forward to also seeing her daughter who recently joined the practice.

Dr Kumar was recommended by a friend. Being a snowbird I was looking for a Winter dentist. She has treated my wife and me on numerous occasions. In each situation we both found her to be a competent dentist. She has a friendly and reassuring demeanor. Her office is clean and staff is friendly. Some medical practitioners do not want to deal with part time patients so we really appreciate having her as our dentist. I would recommend her to a friend or family member.

Our family has been with the practice since the very beginning, two decades ago. Dr. Kumar is wonderful. Sandra is one of the best practice managers we've had the pleasure and privilege! The new office just adds even more to the experience.

I've been seeing Dr. Kumar for years and I've been treated with nothing but respect and kindness by her and the people in her office. She is concerned with the welfare of her patients and is proactive about referring out to specialists when necessary. To me the last point is what makes her an excellent dentist. So many dentists try to be a one stop shop, but no one dentist can be an expert in everything.

If you need a root canal she refers you to an excellent endodontist, if you need work on your gums she refers you to an excellent periodontist. I have four root canals performed by a previous dentist that tried to be a one stop shop, and all of them have failed or are failing. Dr. Kumar and the practitioners she has referred me to are helping me undo the damage done by this previous dentist. I just wish I had found Dr. Kumar in the first place.

Dr. Kumar completed a very difficult and challenging dental procedure for me that was quite involved and very time consuming-- much more than either of us anticipated. I was extremely impressed with her expertise, patience, and thoroughness throughout the entire process. I also appreciated her concern and consideration.

At 76 years old, I have gone to dentists all of my life, therefore have all of my teeth.but never have I felt so comfortable as when I went to Dr Kumar. She and her staff were so caring, and at points stopped working on my teeth to be sure I was OK. I had a lot of dental work done, and must say considering going to a dentist, it was refreshing to have the care that I received.

Dr. Kumar and her staff have always been professional and provide a great service. They take their time and do not try to upsell services you do not need. I would recommend them percent.

Dr. Kumar and her staff are so gentle and great to work with. There is never a problem reaching them by phone or scheduling an appointment and there is also never a long wait in the waiting area. They work with insurance promptly and efficiently. And their new location is beautiful! I've been a patient for years and have always been extremely happy with this practice!

Dr. Kumar is the best dentist ever! I had a filling pop out from another dentist & she fixed it right away, it was quick & painless. I also can't say enough about all the staff who work here, they are amazing. I don't see myself ever going to another dentist because I love it here so much! Our initial appointment today was a cleaning subsequent to the removal of my teens braces. The experience was seamless, the front office was efficient despite extra measures taken for NCoV19 (took both of our temperatures, waited for my son in the car rather than in the waiting room). The hygienist warmly address a few questions following the examination and complementing my son on his polite behavior. Nice experience, we looking forward to working with Dr. Kumar in the future.

I've been a patient since 2008. I have moved 45 minutes away and still come here because Dr. Kumar is so good. She will put a camera in your mouth and take photos of cracks or cavities, and then explain the risks and treatment in laymen's terms. I appreciate that, because with other dentists, I felt they constantly recommended services but i was sure they were necessary or not. I trust Dr. Kumar and their office will email and/or text to schedule appointments and answers questions.

Dr Kumar is an incredibly knowledgeable and skilled physician. On top of that, she shows compassion and truly cares for her patients. For someone like me with a deep fear of anything dentist related, her gentle approach made a huge difference. I am a fan for life and will be back. If I can give 10 stars I would dr Kumar is one of the best dentists I had in my 31 years in the valley the cro wns and filling are great and she gave me great advice on preventive dentistry! and the prices are great

I was referred to Dr. Kumar by a friend. I am a winter visitor to Scottsdale and had the beginning of what I thought was a tooth ache. I went to see Dr. Kumar and it turned out that I needed to have a tooth pulled as well as a root canal. She referred me to specialist for the procedures that she could not perform. The reason for my five star review is not because she is an excellent dentist, which she is! Let's face it when you go to see a doctor you expect a certain level of competence.

What sets Dr. Kumar apart is that she truly cares about her patients. After my visit (and lots of drilling) she called me at home at 8:30 PM to make sure that I was OK. Dr. Kumar is an excellent dentist AND a kind human being. I am glad that I was referred to her by my friend.

Great Dr and Staff. Got kids in right away for cleaning and the next day for treatment. Highly recommend.

Dr. Kumar is so far the best dentist we have had. My husband and children come here too. She is very thorough and gentle. Her hours are accommodating for everyone. We are grateful to have found a wonderful dentist for our entire family!

I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Kumar and her staff! Yesterday I went in for my first cleaning in 7 years. I know that's awful, but my last trip to the dentist so traumatizing (the dentist stabbed me in the nerve on my gum line), that I was SO scared to go back. My husband was referred here by coworkers and convinced me to try her out.

He was right. She was so incredibly patient and gentle with me, and the hygienist didn't make me feel bad when I cried (omg how embarrassing!) while I was telling her about my last horrible experience. Dr. Kumar even numbed me where my teeth are sensitive so that would be comfortable. If you are scared of the dentist, don't be-go see Dr. Kumar!

Best of the best! Been coming here since almost 5 years. Me and my husband have had few major jaw and tooth issues in past and she guided and served us in the best way, also recommended us best surgeons and doctors like TMJ and with her recommendation we got appointments right away.
