My experience with Dr. Kim and his staff is 11/10. Very welcoming, very friendly and I love my results! They have 2 different locations which is very convenient and most importantly. their offices are clean. My sister and I both got our teeth done at the same time but she went with another well known company. Although hers were a little cheaper, they lacked the technology to monitor your progress via phone + a professional reviewing your progress weekly.

She said I was lucky that my trays were thinner than hers and more see through & wished her company had taken progress pics as well. All they did was give her trays and she was on her own until her next in-person appointment close to when she was about to finish. She was content with her results but wasn't ecstatic about it. I usually don't give reviews. but I would totally recommend Dr. Kim to anyone who's looking to get their teeth done the right way. You get what you pay for and Dr. Kim is the absolute best.

I did consultations with multiple orthodontists and ultimately chose Dr. Kim because he estimated a shorter treatment time than others for Invisalign. No complaints here about my treatment. The staff was all very kind and personable. I even sent my brother here since he wasn't happy with his orthodontist. I didn't think my teeth were that bad to begin with and my friends all assumed I had braces as a kid, but looking at the before and after photos, there is a major improvement. I think it even improved my face shape. Highly recommend!

I came across Kim Orthodontics while searching for a doctor specializing in Invisalign. I had a braces back in H.S. but my previous pregnancies caused my teeth to shift and it didn't help that I lost my last set of retainers. I was planning on having them done again w/ my previous ortho (we was also very awesome too by the way ) but I believe he only does traditional braces at this time.

There were so many great reviews about this place so I thought I would check it out. Dr. Kim and his staff are amazing! Dr. Kim is so kind and really takes the time to listen to your concerns. The staff are also very friendly and very knowledgeable. They always have a smile on their faces whenever I walk-in through that door. I really loved the end result and the best part was, I ended up finishing my treatments early! So if you're looking to getting your teeth fixed you definitely need to go to Kim Orthodontics!

If you're looking for any type of orthodontist work this is the place to go! They can customize your experience to make it fit your needs and wants. Their offices are beautiful, clean, and very up to date on technology. You don't even have to put that tray of goo in your mouth anymore, it's amazing! For years I had thought about straightening my smile, but had put it off because of other life and family priorities. I decided as a 50+ adult to take the plunge and contacted Dr. Gerald Kim's office for a consult. From that initial meeting to the end of my Invisalign journey, Dr. Kim and his entire staff were friendly, courteous, informative and professional.

Every question sent via texts and calls was answered promptly and to my satisfaction. The final results of the procedure are truly amazing and I've achieved a smile I never thought possible. The lower jaw crowding and other alignment issues I had were corrected and my teeth look incredible! The initial treatment timeline was 18-20 months but I finished with the aligners in only 14 months.

I was apprehensive about the potential discomfort and "hassle" of the Invisalign treatment but I personally experienced no pain and the process caused little disruption to my daily routine. Dr. Kim and his staff receive my highest recommendation, thanks and gratitude!

My family and I highly recommend Kim orthodontist. They are The Best in Hawaii! My daughter (9 years old), husband and I had very successful treatments with them. Dr. Kim and his office are excellent. They were very clear & supportive throughout the entire treatment. One thing I liked about Dr. Kim's treatment was that he utilizes an app, so there's no need to go into the office or make appointments every other week. What an incredible team Dr. Kim has! From the orientation on Zoom to the appointments, everyone was friendly, caring, smiling and professional! My kids got goodie bags when they started, which was one of the best goodie bags we have ever received, beautifully decorated and full of fun gifts and treats. Dr. Kim is warm, attentive, professional and has done amazing work with my sons last year.

We could see the difference as they progressed- it was so encouraging to see the photos through the months. The process is so easy, with take home scanners that allow you to send in photos from home. There are regular texts and check-ins all done through the mobile app, and any questions are immediately answered. Hands down this is the most friendly and professional staff and we love Kim Orthodontics! Several of our family members have gone to Dr. Kim because of our amazing experience with him and the staff. Five stars, we love them and highly recommend them!

Extremely professional. They know who you are when you call from your registered number. They know what you're calling for, what location and times and days you usually prefer. This place exemplifies the true meaning of customer service to a point that I will be asking them how they do it. How do they screen for excellent employees? I wish this office handled all our medical needs.

Maybe Dr. Kim needs to be a consultant for other offices on how to be or how to hire staff. Sad since the bar is set so high and makes me dread dealing with my other doctors offices.

I came to Dr. Kim with an open bite-my front teeth did not touch, it was awful. I started seeing results with my treatment within a few weeks! It was very exciting. The dental monitoring program and process was smooth and easy to use. Any issues or questions I had were always responded to quickly, which I greatly appreciated! I don't usually write reviews, but Kim Orthodontics was an exception. With my busy schedule, I really liked the option of doing scans from home and just submitting them to their staff via my phone app. My end results were amazing and what made my experience outstanding was the service I received from Dr Kim and his entire staff from day #1! He and his staff are so friendly and helped me with any concerns and questions I had without making me feel like I'm a bother. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. You will not be disappointed!

I just took my daughter in today and it was a great experience from start to finish. Dr. Gerald Kim has things running perfectly from checkin o check out. Everyone was friendly and explained everything I needed to know. We were in and she was away with scanning and pictures and minutes later he was going over what needed to be done. I liked that he spoke directly to my 7 year old explaining to her what she would be responsible for and what she would be rewarded with. a beautiful smile.

And she was excited! They gave her a sample invisalign tray and she asked me if she could put it in already. Jessica was super nice and Cathy was on it with getting all our insurance info. All and all it was an awesome experience. I can see why he's the best orthodontist in the state!

From the minute I first walked into Dr. Kim's office for my initial consultation, until my last retainer fitting appointment, I had an absolutely phenomenal experience with Dr. Kim and his staff. Dr. Kim and his staff are extremely professional, and always provide prompt communication, and clear and concise directions. Results were on point, and my overall Invisalign experience was smooth and seamless. Dr. Kim tailors each treatment to the individual patient.

For me, this included individually shaping/shaving several of my teeth, one by one. Dr. Kim's passion, attention to detail, and skillset combine to produce fantastic results. I took my son here for a second opinion about needing braces and Dr. Kim suggested we wait until all my son's adult teeth grow in before doing anything. He told me to make a 6 month appt to see where the progress of the growth would be at that time. Unlike the first office we went to, Dr. Kim didn't want to waste our time and money by putting on braces now to only have to do them again later once the adult teeth grow in. or having braces on for a prolonged period of time.

I appreciate his honesty and integrity so much! On top of that, the doctor and staff are so nice and welcoming with every interaction we've had. As for the office, it is smaller yet cozy and clean. There are multiple tablets as well for children to play with. Unfortunately, my family and I will be moving in less than six months but Dr. Kim still gave us advice on what to do and look out for once we arrive to our next destination.

Dr. Kim and his staff were amazing! When I first came to him, I wanted to have the wire braces because I thought it would work better for me. He showed me the different options to correct my teeth and we settled on Invisalign. I trusted his judgement and wow, my teeth look amazing! His staff worked with my hectic schedule and were always kind and courteous. I'm overly thrilled with how my teeth came out and will definitely recommend him to my friends. I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. The staff are some of the NICEST people you will ever meet, they uplift your day. The prices are good and the quality of work is unrivaled. Convenient locations, no wait times, very clean and professional office. Did I mention they're recognized as the top 1% of Invisalign providers worldwide? You'd be crazy to go anywhere else for all your Invisalign needs. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

Dr. Kim and his entire staff are amazing! Mid-way through my treatment I had to leave the island. Although I was off island, they sent me messages and reminders. When my new sets came in they shipped them directly to my house. If I had any questions or concerns I could always count on them to answer. I had the option to go to another orthodontist when I moved but I didn't want anyone else. If you're looking for a orthodontist, look no further. Dr. Kim and his team are for you.

High tech office. He's the youngest practicing orthodontist which explains a lot, he's extremely knowledgeable in the latest technology, unlike most orthodontist who only believe in pulling teeth to straighten, the fast and easy way for doctor to move patients along and collect big cash. Dr. Kim is not like that, he will keep working with your child to keep cost down and avoid unnecessary surgery. He's very kind and informative.

Our daughter went to another orthodontist paid big bucks, $8k and teeth never straightened, we were simply blamed for not authorizing to pull 3 healthy teeth. Found Dr. Kim through referral. We wish we went to him sooner. Don't just go to an orthodontist because you know someone who works there, need to really do your research.

I'm a patient with Dr. Gerald Kim from March 2017 thru 2018. My visits to his office is always great! He's very personable and remembers details about me. His office environment is clean, friendly and gives professional service. Anyone needing him for service would be extremely happy.

Dr. Kim and his staff have been so amazing and the experience I've had with the Invisalign treatment has been life changing! I don't ever remember feeling as confident as I do today and that's all because I can finally smile! It's still so surreal to me, words cannot explain how thankful I am to Dr. Kim. Appointments are super easy to schedule and if you're closer to Pearl Ridge, you can schedule your appointments in that location.

If you're closer to downtown then you can go there instead and it's at Ala Moana I believe. either way it's super convenient! Appointments were always on schedule and I never had to wait forever like I usually do with any other doctor. The longest I ever waited was like 2-3 minutes and that's literally it. Is it expensive? I mean, I think it's reasonable and to be honest it's an investment for yourself so it's worth it no matter what. Now, if you're teeth are not as bad as mine were then, it might not be worth it to you. But for me, it was 100% worth it! every. single. penny! Thanks again Dr. Kim! I can't express the gratitude enough!

Dr Gerald Kim is the best of the best. Extremely knowledgeable, caring and hands down an amazing orthodontist. His staff is just as friendly, informative and patient. This is the only provider I would refer my family and friends to. My fears of what to expect and any discomfort were quickly addressed and the progression of my treatment is a testament to Dr. Kim and his staff.

I do cause that's me! : He has 2 office locations which is a blessing since Aiea is so much closer to where I work and live than in town. And parking?. Definitely not a problem there. 21 months ago I decided it was time to invest in something that was important to me.my teeth! I was tired of my crooked teeth that made me feel so insecure when I talk to people. I was referred to Dr. Gerald Kim and I'm glad I was! From the first day I went in for my consultation Dr. Kim and all his staff were so sweet, welcoming, and helpful. Dr. Kim was so informative and thorough when helping me map out my treatment plan.

Today was the last day of my treatment.after 21 months I am Invisalign free and feel so much more confident in myself with my new set of straight teeth! I have nothing but great things to say about Dr Gerald Kim and his staff. He may look like he just graduated from college, but he has 17 years of experience! We couldn't continue with our initial treatment, so he graciously refunded our initial payment. His office is exceptionally clean and well laid out. There are kid friendly IPads to use, a fantastic view, and state of the art imaging equipment. You won't be disappointed! And thank you again Dr. Kim for your help.

This review is long overdue. Referred here by my daughter's dentist. It's been almost a year now and I haven't been disappointed. Dr. Kim and his entire staff are very friendly and professional. Thorough explanations throughout the entire process. They also offer free wi-fi and ipads for use in the waiting room. If you're in need of an orthodontist I totally recommend Kim Orthodontics. You will not be disappointed.

My other half had an appointment scheduled for an alignment consultation today. Immediately after initially walking into the office for the first time, we were greeted in such a family-like manner and were assisted with appreciated eagerness! There were MANY things that stood out in (BOTH) our eyes, and the key points are listed as followed: (1) When checking in, you are immediately directed to an IPad that checks you into your appointment, regardless of how early/late you arrive! (2) The environment/surroundings were so clean, bright, inviting and open!

There were several windows that gave vast overviews of Pearl Harbor and the west regions of pearl city. (3) The staff were absolutely kind, hilarious, warming and HELPFUL throughout the duration of our visit. Each and every one of the staff were helpful with answering any questions and/or concerns thoroughly and certainly made us feel comfortable, welcomed and more knowledgeable about dental work in general. Dr. Gerald Kim made the experience not only enjoyable, but he hands down gave us the knowledge, expertise and thoughtfulness that you only DREAM of when pursuing this kind of cosmetic procedure.

From the moment we met him, we were greeted with a warm embrace and he made us feel comfortable from start to finish. It's always awkward meeting new health care professionals but Dr. Kim goes against the grain in that sense. He makes us feel welcomed and the whole experience overall, enjoyable. Really liked Dr. Kim and his staff. They were all very professional and personable. Very clean environment, even cleans window ledges and vents (something I notice when waiting or laying down in the chair). To me, how a business takes care of their work space tells me how professional and respectful they expect themselves to be and how important their image to their customers is portrayed. Dr. Kim listens but will let you know what he thinks is best for you.

We've been going to Dr. Gerald Kim's Pearlridge office since 2011, when my 10 year old daughter was first told she needed braces (by her dentist). I am so glad I did my own research to find Dr. Kim, who was, at the time, one of only two orthodontists on the island who provided Damon braces. Dr. Kim's friendly demeanor and sincere concern for his patients convinced me that he would be the orthodontist for my children.

I have another daughter who will be needing braces next year and Dr. Kim has been tracking her since she was 10 to keep me updated on preparing for her braces time, both financially and emotionally. I'm sure Dr. Kim hand picks his staff at Kim Orthodontics as they are as friendly and concerned about their patients as he is. Cathy, the receptionist is always helpful, Patricia and Faye keep patients comfortable when moving or replacing brace mounts.

And all this is always done with a smile and friendly words! And they are such a tightly run operation that rarely do I find myself waiting excessively because they are on time for their appointments 99% of the time. I couldn't be happier with the service and quality of my daughter's new smile. Dr. Kim made having braces a good, painless experience and she can now confidently go through highschool without being self-conscious of her teeth. THANK YOU so much, Dr. Kim!

I became a part of the Kim Orthondics Ohana in July 2014. I say Ohana because that is exactly how you are treated the moment in you step into the office for your initial consultation. Kim Orthondics not only focuses on providing the utmost orthodonic treatment, they also ensure to hone in small details that make each visit one to look forward to. If I had one word to describe Dr. Kim and his staff it would be genuine.

A gesture as small as the goodie bag of soft food after the braces are put on to a warm hug at the end of treatment is just an example of the small effortless things that in all actuality are extremely impactful gestures. I am in the military and tend to be off-island quite a bit however, Doctor Kim has been more than accomadating to ensure my treatment stays on schedule as well as fitting me in at a last minute notice.
