I've been looking for a new dentist for a while now and I'm glad Kirkwood Dental opened a Smyrna location! The receptionist was helpful in answering questions for me, my hygienist Tina was great in explaining everything she was doing and the dentist I saw was wonderful. I had a great first experience and I would 10/10 recommend!

The Best Dentist Office ever!. It's been awhile since I've been. All staff was impersonal to my needs. Very sanitary and they relax your anxieties. Very informative while completing services. It might 60 plus years I have never seen a better Staff of professionals as was the people at Kirkwood Dental. They're great to work with enter so patient it seems unnerving they work with you and take time to relieve your concerns. I have not seen this in the new word Dental locations in this area they are always in such a rush. Seems as if Kirkwood Dental team go out of their way to take their time and understanding to you the patient who really needs it. Dr. Christy and his assistant are very gentle and kind. He talked me through the procedure and let me know exactly was he was doing and what to expect. The entire process was very fast. I called as a new patient with an emergency and they were able to fit me in the schedule the next day. I was called back exactly at my appointment time and had an X-ray and two teeth extracted in about 45 minutes.

Had 6-month check-up and cleaning with Dawn, who was great as usual. Got right to it, very thorough and professional, mouth was refreshed, felt "like a star" treatment. Dr. Michel assessed to confirm that with continued attention to home care, good until next time! Give it 4.5 stars as SO looked forward to the annual magnetic calendar (not doing it this year). Dental care here is spot-on.

I had an urgent situation, and they squeezed me right into the next day's schedule. I was able to get my teeth checked up and fixed the problem. Unfortunately, two other dental offices I called refused to take me despite my situation because they don't take new patients at the moment. I'm so glad that I didn't give up and found this place!
