I hadn't been to a dentist in years before I came upon Carp Dental. Wow! What a difference having a knowledgeable, compassionate, and gentle dentist makes. Dr. Carp and his team were so efficient and calming that I couldn't believe I was done with my visit that speedily and without any pain. They now have a patient for life! Do you think you only need a check up once a year?

Every time I have gone to Carp Dental, in Norristown, Pa. for my appointment, I am always Greeted with a smile from the front desk staff. I didn't have to wait to long to be seen. The Dental Hygienist that took care of me, was very professional and kind. She did an excellent job in cleaning my teeth and explaining to me about good teeth care. I also was seen by Dentist Brandon Goldwater, He was awesome!
He made me feel so relaxed. I felt like I was in good hands, all the fear and worries went away. Everyone in the office was very nice and professional, And I would recommend Carp Dental to anyone who needs excellent dental care!

My first time at this dental practice. They fit me in for a dental emergency and diagnosed my issue quickly. The office is run efficiently and everyone is very nice, kind and gentle. I have dental anxiety and I felt at ease immediately and got more comfortable with each person I met. I would highly recommend.

I see why these folks have such high ratings. Dr. Brink and Derrick were fantastic and made a visit to the dentist (one of my least favorite things) a surprisingly great, painless experience. The two of them answered all of my questions and gave me detailed info on what they were doing while I was getting a crown. I highly recommend this company for their thoughtfulness, kindness, and professionalism!

My visit to Carp Dental was wonderful. All the staff made me feel welcomed from the start. I was seen promptly at my scheduled time and treated with care and attention to my needs and requests. Tina was especially helpful in providing me with information on a future procedure I'm considering. I feel this is a practice that has created a very friendly atmosphere for their patients. I am so grateful to my sister for recommending Carp!

I called Carp Dental because after being referred when I thought I broke my tooth. I was seen 2 hours after I called as an emergency appointment and a new patient. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Dr. Goldwater evaluated my tooth quickly and efficiently. It wasn't broken, but infected and needed a root canal. I highly recommend this office!

I have been a patient of Dr. Yu for over a decade and have undergone a great many procedures (fillings, implants, crowns), each delivered with the highest level of professional competence and outstanding patient care. Everyone involved in this organization has been wonderful over the decades; dentists, specialists, hygienists, assistants and admin staff. so much so that I dare not risk mentioning individuals. Dr. Yu is the simply the best. and Derric needs a special shout out as well. They make me smile.

I've been a Carp Dental patient for about 5 years and in that time I've had nothing but great experiences with this place. Dr. Paul Yu is, perhaps, the most talented and most effective dentist of our time. I feel like he and his team really took the time to get to know me and my dental needs and have done a superb job of keeping my mouth healthy. Every time I meet someone new I'm confident that my smile will at least make a good impression thanks to Dr. Yu and Carp Dental. 10/10 would recommend

Amazing service! I was able to get an appointment for the same day within hours of calling considering I'm from out of town and obviously not one of their patient. I was in terrible pain with a tooth that broke and after making a conscious decision to extract the tooth the doctor did her best to make me feel comfortable and relaxed before the extraction.
Everything that I needed to know about the extraction was carefully explained to me. The procedure was fast and both the doctor and her assistant was super friendly and sweet. If you're considering this clinic don't hesitate, you wont regret it.

What a fabulous experience I had at Carp Dental! Simply picked them based on their Google Reviews. Google has never done me wrong. Start to finish my experience was very soothing. The front desk has you set everything up on a Kindle. Very with the times! Once I was back in the chain, Brittany, the hygienist, was SUPER kind and easy to chat with! The Dentist, can't recall her name, was also very kind.
And the one thing that put this experience over the top was that they didn't give me a hard time about my wisdom teeth having to come out! Every dentist I've been to the last 10 years always has given me a hard time. They didn't, and I was very happy. They know what's good! Highly recommend Carp Dental!

Dr Carp is an amazing Dentist. However over the last few years the office has changed and you now are just a number. no customer service. Twice they were supposed to look into something for me and get back to me before my appointment and they didnt. I have also asked for an explanation of a bill and was promised they would call back and never did. Dr Carp is now very hard to get an appointment with since he only comes in one or two days a week. the dental part is amazing but the customer service is not. in March I made an appointment for April because this was an appointment that was canceled when the pandemic hit I questioned the price because it was a long appointment.
They told me they would get an estimate from the insurance company and email it to me before my appointment. Nope that never happened. The changes they made to their customer service was not for the best.

my husband a pilot and I were at our second home in Wyomissing when he realized his crown was cracked. In extreme pain for over a week, he waited for his appointment at Carp on a family member referral. When making the appointment, I did let the receptionist know we were from out of town. The day arrived and my husband drove an hour.....one way. Upon arrival he was told that they could not see him as he had not "quarantined". He is a pilot. How does one get to do that??? He is considered essential. I guess he is not allowed the luxury of working without pain.

I've gone to this dentist since the practice was owned by Dr. Moses. They had (still have) their own dental plan and since I didn't have one with my employer, it was a good deal and the work was very good. Most of the dentists are still good (Dr. Goldwater is my usual dentist and he's great). My usual hygienist is good too. There are some dentists I won't let work on my mouth at all (Dr. Carp, for instance--all the work he's done gave me problems and had to be redone and that was expensive).
The admin staff changes frequently and none seem to be trained well. Yesterday's problem was that they had a cinnamon scented candle lit at the front desk. I'm allergic, so I coughed my way through my exam--I was wheezing by the time I got back out to my car. Scented candles have no place in what is essentially a medical facility (read the medical studies on them--they're harmful) and I can't believe none of the dentists put a stop to it before I walked in the door. I'm seriously thinking of changing dentists now.

I love my dental hygienist, but the rest of the office is lacking. I've waited up to thirty minutes past my appointment time on more than one occasion, however they'll bombard you with reminder calls and emails weeks leading up to your appointment. I never seem to see the same dentist twice. The most recent dentist told me my daughter needed root canal asap, and that he wouldn't recommend a filling because I'd probably just have to bring her back for the root canal. Took the soonest appointment which meant missing school, and she came out with a filling.
The dentist never came to speak to me, but had his assistant do it. My husband had a root canal, and the cap fell out three times. So all in all I am not thrilled with the dentists there.

The dentists there are great and I've always had really good experiences. But, occasionally the people who help them out aren't so great. For example, after getting my last cavity filled, the two women who finished off my filling spent a few minutes talking about how another employee had messed something up. They both had their hands in my mouth and they were ranting about some woman hadn't done a mold. What does that mean? I don't know and I don't care. I just want them to focus on fixing me up and getting me out the door.

I love the Hygenist, Theresa, and I think she's the reason why I haven't needed any other work. I feel, my mouth feels, like new when I leave and they always keep the schedule. They have nice doctors that look things over real good too. Loyal from Marshall Street and hope to stay that way. Great experience!

They went above and beyond the call of duty for my son.my dentist didn't even have a dentist on call for weekend. So the dentist I go to the office manager replied to my messages and she called dr carp and they could not have been nicer on a Saturday morning at 8am they squeezed my son in being 3 days before Christmas I would have been stuck not to mention my son being in pain. So kudos to all at dr carp that help us. Also thank u thank u Kelly!

Although they were all very nice, the word they did was substandard. I had three fillings done on one side, two of them fell out within 6 months, and the third just one just fell out. Lasted less than 3 yrs. Also, an expensive crown was "not seated properly" and got infected under the crown. Losing the tooth now, can't afford to go back and redo. Unacceptable work.

I have been a loyal patient of Carp since they were on Marshall Street, .maybe a little over 8 years? This is the ONLY dentist that I have ever trusted. The staff is very knowledgeable, and the work done on my teeth have always been PERFECT, very little pain to none, and my teeth always look amazing. I love you guys :

I felt like a total dirt ball going into Carp for the first time as a patient participating in the $ 149.00 two cleanings & some x rays in a year plan just cause I hadn't been to a dentist in years & didn't have health insurance. My flossing schedule had been atrocious even if my brushing schedule had been a bit more regulated so I had some real qualms.
With all that being said I was ready to be done dirty by these people but that was the furthest from the truth. From the second I walked in the door Tina at the front desk made me feel welcomed & comfortable. The waiting room is sensibly decorated w/ the focal part being the real life Pac Man arcade game. After filling out some basic paperwork I was called into the back & promptly sat in a comfy dental chair.
After some routine x rays the cleaning began & it looked like I should be screaming bloody murder when in fact I had next to no discomfort at all. The cleaning took longer than expected just cause the lonsuffering hygienist had to scrape 20 some furry sweaters off of my teeth but at the end of the process I & my pearly whites felt great. The Dr popped in at the end of the procedure & reassured me that my 37 year winning streak of never having had a cavity was still in tact & that my teeth were very nice. What comes next is going to sound weird but I am going to say that I'm already counting the days till my next appt at Carp.

They treated me for a very small cavity in one of my back teeth. I knew something had gone terribly wrong when there was blood everywhere! It was like a horror movie. The dentist had removed more than half of my tooth! I was in pain for months, the edge of the filling was sharp and there was a big gap that became a food trap. Since then, I've had 2 other dentists work to restore my tooth and both have made remarks about how my tooth was destroyed.
The tooth needs a crown which isn't covered by my insurance. It's going to cost me over $1,000 out of my own pocket. I've never been afraid to go to the dentist, but this is the makings of a nightmare.
