Many insurance plans often have one name but follow another plan's benefits breakdown or fee schedule. This means that if your insurance is not listed, it does not necessarily mean we do not take your plan. Please feel free to contact us and provide your specific plan information or ask us any questions you may have.
Your Miles of Smiles dentist will begin to evaluate the health of your mouth by asking if you have any symptoms such as throbbing, aching, or pain when you chew. You may be asked about previous dental work or injury to your teeth and any medical conditions you may have. After your history is taken, your Miles of Smiles dentist will examine your teeth.
Bad breath, or halitosis, isn't something to ignore. Poor dental hygiene an underlying health problems can be potential factors. Regardless, you can take steps to prevent and treat halitosis, both at home and with the help of your dentist. This can be one of the most obvious causes of bad breath. To get gums back into shape, brush thoroughly and often with a soft-bristle brush, and get into the habit of regular flossing. Your dentist can advise you of the appropriate treatment. Teeth can certainly collect their fair share of odor-producing debris.

I'm extremely disappointed with Dr. Loma! Routine cleaning lasts less than 5 min and is painful! But the worst thing that her cleaning is harmful! A small piece of my front teeth fell off during the cleaning she ''kindly'' provided! When I approached her right after the procedure saying that my tooth edge appears to be sharper than before, she didn't admit her mistake and recommended to consider bonding or veneer that, of course, I have to pay for!
This is my second and last time visiting her. She doesn't care about her patients. She was assigned to me by my insurance and I regret I didn't do any investigation before seeing her.

Do not go to Dr. Loma for Invisalign treatment. She does not know what she is doing. She does not have the latest technology and does not practice the best practices. I transferred my case to another ortho after moving and this ortho is so much better and more up to date in practices. I am just sad because I wasted $5000 for nothing. No refunds from this doctor.
It even took 4 months for them to transfer my trays to my new doctor. When they transferred my trays they violated HIPPA laws (my new ortho was surprised) because they mailed my trays in the Invisalign box exposing my patient information and everything! Please do your homework before selecting a good orthodontist for Invisalign. Make sure the ortho is up to date in technology and check how many cases they do. My new ortho ONLY does Invisalign and nothing else! He is an expert. Dr. Loma may be good at some areas of dental work but I can tell you she is not an expert at Invisalign.

Dr. Loma is great. I appreciated that they did not do any treatment without sending an estimate to my insurance first, so that I would know the exact and actual cost of my work. There is a longer wait at times, but it is worth it to me because the doctor takes the time to answer all of my questions and it makes me comfortable knowing that she'll take the time to do so. The office is always very polite and assuring with whichever inquiry i may have. Excellent office and service. I highly recommend coming here.

Best dentist in Houston! I have been going to this dentist for about 10 years now doing teeth cleanings, fixing cavity, and root canal. I have also had my teeth whitened here two times. All the services were professional and top tier. I didn't have to wait very long until I was sitting in the chair, and the procedures were done efficiently and fast. I never had any problems. They actually care about you here and give you excellent service.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTAL CLINIC! I went a year ago and they informed me that I had (6) cavities, the charges were too much to fix at that time so I delayed the process of filling the cavities. I found a new dentist office earlier this week and went in for X-Rays and they showed ZERO signs of ANY cavities, not a single one. THEY ARE CROOKS, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO A PROPER DENTAL CLINIC.They want your money and to drill on healthy teeth.

The worst part of them is cleaning your teeth in a hygiene room while in the same room a service guy working, standing on a ladder with opened ceiling. They said he is fixing the wiring for speakers. At the same time couple of contract workers were working on flooring and walls with dust everywhere. It tells me how badly sensible the doctor is for hygiene.
