I have been dealing with Wisdom Teeth issues for about 10 years now. Many issues with other dentist attempt at removing these wisdom teeth over the years. After a couple infections and some more serious feeling issues, I finally decided that no matter what, these needed to come out. I was very nervous and a bit apprehensive before the appointment, luckily my wife had used the same dentist a couple of years ago for the same procedure.

I figured the Devil I knew, rather than looking for another dentist. The front desk help was much more amiable these days rather than a couple of years ago. The procedure was quick and painless. I have a terrible phobia of needles, but they numbed me proper first and I barely even felt the needles. There was a bit of pressure and if there was ever any pain I let them know and they gave me another shot or two and it was smooth sailing from there.

I think the best part was healing. I had some slight pain for the first day or two, but taking the recommended pain pills before the numbing wore off, I barely had any pain after a day or two. I had my first crunchy thing, about 8 days after surgery, which I thought was pretty good! Still Healing well, glad this is finally done!

Victoria Duncan here! I have been going to see Dr. Chothia for over 20 years now, even after I left Seattle and moved to Kingston, WA. I was just there today. The care is excellent, thorough and most kind. I will never go to any other dentist as long as he is in practice.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Very unprofessional workers! I came here hoping to get my wisdom teeth removed however as soon as I walked to the dentistry I felt a eerie feeling about the place. The place is long due for a renovation exteriorly. Trying to come inside 10 minutes before my appointment, the door was locked shut. I make numerous calls to the front office to no avail until suddenly the front desk lady let's me in 1 minute before the scheduled appointment time.

As I walk in I am greeted with papers and documents to sign. They nudge me about the x-rays my dental clinic was suppose to send over. I tell them I have called my clinic twice to send over the x-rays. They say they didn't get the email. So I call my dental clinic and wow suddenly they have the x-rays. It seems as if the front desk lady is simply a great liar or doesn't know anything about email system. Anyways, after getting called up by one of their dental assistants around 25 minutes late.

The dental assistant states how the x-rays are bad quality and he has to take them again. I comply simply hoping I can get my wisdom teeth removed that day. The x-ray machine they have has to be the complete sought out garbage in the market today. The dental assistant was struggling to turn the thing on for over 20 minutes! Not to mention their x-ray machine is in a tiny closet!

As I walk out the x-ray room. I notice markings on the doors as if someone just stabbed the doors with the side of a sharp 2x4. Very unprofessional. Finally, I am greeted by the doctor. The doctor says he can not pull out my bottom 2 wisdom teeth as it will require sedation. I don't know what to say. I lost an hour of my time! Doctor states the front desk lady will send me a referral to another dentistry. So, as I head out, the front desk lady said she will send a referral via email to another clinic just like the doctor said and what do you know, no email.

Had my wisdom teeth removed here several months ago and it was very traumatizing. The doctor did not explain the process to me, and the whole time I did not know what was going on. I was on the verge of a panic attack and the doctor kept muttering things to himself like "ugh the tooth won't come out" and I was crying during the whole process with no comforting

I had a tooth pulled and Dr Chothia and his staff were great :) I was a bit nervous in general - all things went well. I would certainly return if I had more issues to deal with - but hopefully I never visit again;) I saw some of the negative reviews online and that did give me some concern but when you look at those reviews they dont seem credible. My experience was great and I would refer friends to Dr Chothia with no hesitation :)

Quick and easy. I was completely numbed and had THREE extractions in just a matter of 15. minutes. I told him my fears of not numbing in past experiences. Hes honest and forward with directions. 4/5 stars ONLY because its very hard to get somebody on the phone to schedule an appointment or ask aftercare questions.

Coming into my wisdom teeth removal I was very skeptical. I was nervous and scared not knowing what to expect. As soon as the dr came, he was super nice, walked me through it and made me feel comfortable. He made sure I was numb all the way through and helped me calm my nerves before starting. He was as gentle and he could've possibly been and it was over before I know it! I'm very happy with my experience and would recommend it to anybody!

I was a little worried having read the previous reviews but let me tell you they have changed some things around and the new receptionist is amazing.don't listen to the old reviews! She helped ease my anxiety by talking with me and making me feel welcome, extremely friendly and great attitude. The dental assistant was amazing as well. Dr. Hashim made sure I was all numb and was extremely quick with a no nonsense attitude.

He helped me relax when I was having anxiety. I highly recommend this place. Overall vibe of the place was great, the waiting room was very nice and the staff helped create an amazing atmosphere. Getting your teeth pulled out is never something to be excited about but here they really strive to provide the best all around service. I am very thankful for everyone there!

I have read some of the negative reviews and I disagree completely. I am usually very nervous, but I was immediately reassured and put at ease. I had a upper molar removed and it was done so quickly. I did not feel a thing. Everybody in the office was very kind. I have had other work done here and I highly recommend this office for dental work.

Still having nightmares about my experience here. I was scolded like a child for being nervous, treated like shit for being emotional. No aftercare. butchered my gums. So upset. Please seek treatment elsewhere.

Why for the love of god won't you answer your phone? Called and called and called, VM after VM and zero response. Not one. Had to go in and talk directly to them. So annoying.

Please never ever go this place. I went this place this morning (03-21-19) removed my teeth, and their reception was the horrible receptionist I've ever seen in USA!. if you trying to get an appointment u needs to call them at least 100 times. and u'll hear some of the angriest lady answer the phone call and yells at u very hard like she is your boss. and its nothing. the place was so cold, and so dirty and the peoples who works here every one's are so mean. they even cant say 'hi' to you. but its nothing at all.

I forgot my little hand bag in their surgery room( it was a burberry hand bag). you know what every single of them watch me im hanging a little hand bag with me. cuz every one ask insurance or id or something like that I opens my hand bag all the time. after I left their dentist about 5 minute when I going back my home I just remember I forgot my hand bag in there. then I just went back and told that reception. and she just yells me very hard and she just cleaned that room and she didn't see anything in that room. at the first time that lady said they have a camera and they can watch it, . but after 20 minutes wait doctor just came out and said that their camera doesn't record means they cant see who steal my hand bag. I just came back about 10 minutes! no body cant go their room and steal my hand bag during that time. the horrible service, horrible place, and thief workers. KARMA!

I went to this office for about 9 years and saw a few different dentists during that time. I only had routine cleanings and x-rays. I felt like the care I received was good, other than the time they forgot my x-rays. The office itself is kind of grungy. Clean, yes, but it's in a converted house with a weird layout and it doesn't look very professional.

There are signs in the lobby discouraging patients from requesting pain medication - I understand that it's a problem, but it also seems weird and accusatory. Unfortunately the customer service isn't great. The front desk staff over the years has been variable. I have almost always had a long wait for my appointment when it was later in the day, and no one thought to tell me before I arrived.

They should call a patient when their appointment is delayed. They have frequently put me in a treatment room only to have me wait for nearly an hour. But they are no longer my dentist because I've had enough of them calling me to reschedule appointments I booked months in advance and not being able to reschedule for over a month.

Not impressed with this place. Trying to get in for an appointment is like pulling teeth. they like to let calls go to voicemail claiming they only have 1 front office person fielding TONS of inbound calls. Have a crown that has come loose and due my own stupidity for choosing the insurance i did (yes my own fault, i did know better) I had not choice but to call these folks since they were assigned to me.

After going back and forth they wound up making me an appt that I had to cancel since work wouldn't give me time off (yes not the dentist fault) but the hoops I had to jump through to get ahold of these people was ridiculous. I left two messages and sent two emails with my phone number asking for them to call. All they did was respond to the email asking me to call them, why? so I can leave another voicemail that doesn't get returned?

How did I get ahold of them you ask? I called six or seven times in a row btwn 530 and 6p just before they close, lady picked up with LOTS of attitude explaining SHE was the only person working the front desk ALL DAY. They explained they take over 200 calls a day and coordinate oral surgeries etc. I wonder how in the hell they pull that off if I cant get through without calling six times in a row. My advice, avoid this place like the plague, unless you like doing a song and dance to get an appointment.

This dentist is horrible I was kept waiting for almost an hour in the waiting room and then taken back and had to wait another 20 minutes to see the dentist the front desk was nice but the dentist was like a machine no personality, it was clear it was all about the money and the dentiste went from patient to patient with no regard to the patients time or care. The clinic seemed dirty and needed to be updated there was cracked tiles and dirty floors and basically no a pleasant atmosphere

I was pretty scared coming here to get my wisdom tooth extracted. dr chothia did an amazing job i was really stressed and tense but he was very calm and explained everything to me as he did it. it went alot better once i was able to relax.

No Stars only PTSD from this "dentist." I was 20 and had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled by Hashim. I was alone in a room four over two hours while he'd pulled and pulled at my impacted wisdom teeth. He had no assistant and I was not given pain medication nor was I asleep during the procedure. Tears ran down my face as he pulled and drilled.

I was young and didn't do my research obviously. It is only ten years later that I have finally worked through this traumatic experience. I learned it's not normal to only have numbing shots and not be asleep. He is also extremely hesitant to give pain medication which I appreciate overall with so many over prescribing Drs out there. However, I'd just had oral surgery for goodness sake.

Dr Chothia was a complete asshole and yelled at me for being nervous. i was getting my wisdom teeth taken out and i had never done anything like it and he wasn't sympathetic and told me i was making his job hard. i will NEVER go back and i will NEVER recommend anyone. highly displeased and i ended up going somewhere else to get the other half of my surgery done.

I just had a tooth extracted by Dr. Chothia. I was definitely trepidatious about the visit after reading other people's reviews. I must say, however, that my experience was very positive. The dr and his staff were all very friendly and made the process relatively painless. The only thing I would say was a little bit of a put-off was the office. It's an older building and you can tell this practice has been there a long time.

It wasn't the cleanest office I've been to but it wasn't overly dirty either. The dr took his time making sure I was good and numb and the actual extraction was very quick. You can tell this man has pulled A LOT of teeth and knows what he is doing. I was provided with ample numbing medicine to prevent procedural pain and I was prescribed more than adequate pain medication for the post procedure pain. All in all I had as good of an experience as one can have when getting a tooth pulled and I would not hesitate referring someone to this dental practice.

Front desk receptionist is extremely rude and does not make a patient feel comfortable coming in or even talking over the phone. I made my mom cancel her appointment with them because she was the rudest, most demeaning receptionist I have ever spoken to over the phone. Utterly rude! I would not recommend anyone going to this place to have any work done.

I HATE this place! Worst dentist/place I've ever been to! The doc took 2 wisdom an 1 molar an didnt give me shit for the pain after! I'm in an extreme amount of pain an have nothing! He filled me ibuprofen knowing I CAN'T TAKE IT! What a joke this place is. I don't even wanna give them a star. Not even half of one!

These people are horrible! My grandpa had to have all his teeth removed in preperation for dentures. The place felt very cold and patient comfort was obviously NOT a priority. They never asked how he would like to be treated, they just applied novacaine and then preceded to yank all his teeth out, regardless of his discomfort. He mentioned several times about his pain and discomfort and they just continued working on his mouth.

After the procedure he came out pale and white as a ghost from the trauma and blood loss. The true horror is what happened AFTER his visit. They didn't even bother to sow his gums closed! He continued to bleed from the gums for 2 days and it even gave him sinus trauma which resulted in another 2 day hospital stay. Please do not go to this office! They are rude, cold, and uncaring of their patients needs, especially to a docile old man with pain.

I went here on a referral. The day of my referral I contacted the office and I asked what I needed for my appointment. The gentlemen said just show up and we will pull your teeth. The day of my appt I called and a different receptionist explained there were a few things I needed to bring and helped me get that information there so I could keep my appt.

I was referred for 3 wisdom and one molar extraction. There ended up taking an extra tooth at my request. Over all experience was good. First 4 teeth came out with no pain, the 5th was a surgical extraction and I felt discomfort. The assistant massaged my jaw which while it physically eased my discomfort it also emotionally eased my tention and anxiety.its a fkn scary experience yknow.

I never thought having 5 teeth pulled with only local anesthetic would go so easy. I know there are a lot of negative reviews but the doctor I had (wasn't Dr chothia) was receptive to my wishes and when I needed more numbing she immediately accommodated me. That's about it. I'd put 5 stars but they did make me feel like a junkie and afraid to ask for pain meds. They have a sign that states if you ask for any drug by name you will not get it. but I also understand why they have to do that.

I'm confused because the reviews here keep referring to Dr Chothia as a male. I went there today and my surgeon was female hmmm. Regardless SHE did a good job, didn't explain much but has a gentle personality and did a quick job. In pain right now as to be expected, but the tooth is out!

Worse experience I have ever had at a dentist office, the nurse seems like she didn't know what she was doing. Dr hashim chothia was way to forceful and beyond rude forcefully pushing on my body asking me if that hurt then telling me that's my fault it hurts ( didn't hurt before he pushed on it) also telling me if I don't stop (wasn't doing anything) he won't removed my last wisdom tooth. they don't even deserve the 1 star! I will never go back or recommend anyone to go there!

I am so happy to have found Dr. Chothia! Everyone on the staff, including Dr. Chothia, is friendly and competent. The cleanings are great, but, what's really amazing is how quickly Dr. Chothia popped out my wisdom teeth. I had had a terrible and painful experience in the past and put off getting my remaining three wisdom teeth out for years. I came in for my appointment in a very stressed out state and Dr. Chothia's staff was calming and soothing and careful with making sure I was completely numb before the extraction. Dr. Chothia came in with his amiable, light-hearted attitude and coaxed my teeth out in minutes with no pain.

I think he even made me laugh. I also appreciate that this dentist office does not employ any high-pressure sales tactics and that their prices are reasonable. Also, their front desk has been very good with working with my insurance company.

So I've been here a couple times just to have some xrays and issues checked out. Wasn't very impressed at first, but it came to the point where I had to get an extraction. I started shopping around, but I was in so much pain, that I just had to get it done and they had all of my xrays, etc., so I just went. I must say that they were quick, friendly, honest, and communicative about all of it.

I was there to get my tooth out no matter what, and that's what they did. The part that was the worst is when they numbed me- the extraction itself was painless and only took 10 minutes. They walked me through step-by-step on what they were doing. No need for laughing gas since this was a molar and not a wisdom tooth, but they will do laughing gas for wisdom teeth.

First tooth extraction was a breeze thanks to this team. Though it wasn't Dr. Chothia himself, I was please with the OS who did it for me. I thanked her a bunch. And she said I was a trooper. :
