Dental Salon

This was my first time here and it was good. The place is very clean. It differs from my previous dentists in that the dentist (not a hygienist) is the one who cleans your teeth. They measure your gums but don't track the numbers, which was a bit weird because they'll never know if they got worse. Overall it was an okay experience, it felt a little rushed.

Amazing service, Dr. Khanna was wonderful. Made my visit very comfortable and stress free. Had a 2 hour procedure and was comfortable throughout. His assistant was also very helpful and reassuring. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing a nice clean place with an amazing dentist and staff.

I had to go in for what I thought would be an emergency root canal, and ended up needing a tooth extraction. I have terrible anxiety when it comes to the dentist, but Dr. Groh was incredibly kind and patient, and checked in with me regularly to make sure I was comfortable and okay. The dental assistant, Krystal, was the exact same way. I highly recommend both of them!

I had my first appointment with Dr Reddy for possible periodontal work after family recommendations. The new office equipped with modern equipment. I was impressed the his dental assistants. They quickly recognized who my family members were who recommended the office. Dental Salon seems to have a variety of advanced dental professionals that can provide for my dental needs. Based on all of this, I have chosen Dental Salon for my future dental needs.

I went in to get my annual checkup and some minor tarter buildup on my bottom teeth. Dr. Patel kept insisting on getting a deep cleaning. I did not want to pay out of pocket and Instead asked for a regular cleaning instead. Not once did she attempt to remove any tarter. All they did was minor brushing which was done poorly as well. It seemed she was not happy I did not want to move forward with the procedure.

Her demeanor changed when I denied her recommendation. She also neglect to check with my insurance before giving me a quote, not realizing deep cleaning is only covered every 2 years with my insurance. (I already went through the procedure in July of 2020). I wonder if she did realize my Insurance would not cover the procedure, would she have clean the build up then?

This is by far the worst experience I've encountered at a dentist. No quality customer service unless the payout is worth their time. This is why I prefer the suburbs, Quality dentists and most of all HONEST!

I needed a root canal for an abscess, and I specifically booked Dr. Stec as he did a great job on a prior crown. Just as with the previous procedure, the Dr. and his co-worker kept me comfortable as they performed the procedure in amazing time. I was out of the chair and pain-free in no time. A truly professional job.

Very nice place to have your dental needs taken care of. Everyone is super nice and friendly. Dr Korkis has done excellent work on my teeth. Highly recommended!

My experience at Dental Salon was great! Dr Patel was kind and informative. She encouraged me to asked questions and made me feel comfortable. Nicole did a great job cleaning my teeth and was just as kind. Highly recommend both!

From start to finish this was truly an exceptional experience. It's not every day that I would make that claim about going to the dentist! From check in pleasantries, to a very thorough cleaning, and a dentist herself that is knowledgeable, patient, and super comforting, I feel very lucky to have found this place. The dentist even answered questions about my toddler!

Way above and beyond. And at the end of the appointment the front desk staff went out of their way to make sure my next visit was just as I requested. Also, I'm not sure I've ever Even written a review before on Google. They were that good for me to take the time to do this.

This was the first time I had been to a dentist since before the pandemic, and I was very impressed. Everything was clean, the staff were all very kind, and I was out of there quickly. I was also given options for further care given my situation and wasn't pressured into them at all. Looking forward to my next visit.

My experience at the Dental Salon has been very positive. The staff is professional and friendly. From Teresa at the front desk to my hygienist Lana, who was efficient and explained all details. My son and I saw Dr. Stec, and I have to say that I'm happy that I chose him not only to be my dentist but my son's as well. His team is very personable and made it an excellent experience for my son. Happy to have been coming to Dr. Stec for the past six years!

If your looking for a great dental experience this place is great. I had a procedure a few days ago. All the staff was friendly and knowledgeable of my procedure. The facility is clean and modern. I had a great experience and Dr. Groh was great.

I never liked going to the dentist until I started coming to Dental Salon. Dr. Groh has made my experience so comfortable and takes the time to make me aware of everything going on. She truly has changed my perspective on going to the dentist. And of course with the help of the team, Krystal(dental assistant) and Teresa(front desk) both have always been so sweet and made my experience marvelous.

I definitely love coming here and recommend all my friends and family to come to this dentist. Keep doing what you're doing & thank you for giving me confidence in my smile again!

I've been going to the Dental Salon for a while now, and I'm glad to have a place I can finally trust with my dental care. My old roommate and I previously had a terrible experience at another Chicago dentist, but I've been happy with the dentists at the Dental Salon in Chicago. Everyone is super friendly, helpful, and upfront that I've encountered at my time there. I've recommended it to friends and would to anyone looking for a dentist.

I have been going to the Dental Salon exclusively for at least 9 years. My most recent visit was a cleaning, previous to that I had to pop in for a quick filling and was pleased with both visits. Dr. Korkis did my filling and did a wonderful job, and Dr. Arora was my doctor for the latest cleaning and seemed very knowledgeable and kind, but what I was most impressed by over these last two visits was my dental hygienist, Barbara.

She assisted Dr. Korkis with my filling, and did an excellent job. Then she was the one who facilitated my cleaning and I became her biggest fan. She is attentive, compassionate and THOROUGH! I am confident that she gave me the best teeth cleaning I have ever had in my life and I will be requesting her for all future cleanings! Please do what is needed to retain her because she is VERY good at her job!

Thanks again for always being a great experience. In a world were dental offices are on every corner, I am grateful that the Schaumburg office has retained some great regular staff.

Dental Salon has been my dentist since moving to Chicago. Their staff are all extremely friendly, provide great recommendations, and are knowledgable. If you're looking for a new dentist, they are great!

I needed to have a crown replaced. The appointment was made for a date that was convenient for me. I was greeted warmly at the front desk and my insurance information was processed efficiently and I was informed of my out-of-pocket responsibility. I was escorted to the dental chair by the Assistant who exchanged pleasantries and prepared me for the procedure.

I was in the dental chair 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment time. Dr. Stec arrived several minutes later, explained the procedure to me in detail and asked if I had any questions. The procedure went extremely well and was completed in 30 minutes. I have been Dr. Stec's patient for 13 years and I'll keep coming back.

This is my 3rd or 4th time visiting the North Avenue location. The staff is super attentive and is sensitive to the fact that for some a dental appointment can be an anxious moment. The staff really put me at ease. Dr. Patel is the BEST! Her complementary use of the latest dental techniques along with proven homeopathic remedies (like using tea bags which contain tannins) to promote healing were a novel experience for me.

Great dental office. Was just there with my 3 years old. Barbara was the nicest person on earth. Everyone was nice but the way Barbra worked my daughter was incredible. I wish everybody would work like this with children. Highly recommending this place

Dr. Khanna and his staff are amazing. He is fixing a botched implant mess made by a totally different provider. P.S. I travel over 300 miles to see him. He's the best! Highly recommended.

Dental Salon has convenient appointments, and is on time. Dr. Al explains the procedure and again at the time he is working in your mouth. Pain is minimal and if you are in pain, just let them know and they will adjust for your comfort. Overall great experience.

This is the worst dental place I have ever been. First they completely messed up my teeth, than they tried to convince me that that is how supposed to be. I consulted two other dentists and both confirmed that these people are lying. I did crown on two teeth there. Immediately I felt uncomfortable, I had too much space between the teeth and food. gets stuck all the time.

The doctor tried to convince me that this is normal and that in fact I should try to separate all of my teeth. What he did is he made too short teeth and now I have to redo the crown and pay out of my pocket $900 since the insurance won't pay for crown on the same tooth twice. Also I had to call the 5 times so they can pay me back the money I paid in advance before the insurance covered the rest.

This is so frustrating, I don't recommend this place. Be careful when you go here, especially if you need to do something that is more expensive. The dentist at this place should be embarrassed!

It is a friendly knowledgeable staff. As a person who has had many experiences with dentist, your basic cleanings, root canals, crowns, implants, night guards, fillings, and wisdom teeth removal, the Dental Salon has been always been positive.

I am not giving any stars because it does not deserve. After 3 years the implant chipped and told me that they don't want to do the work. You guys lost me 3 years ago when instead of doing 1 implant you were pushing to damage the teeth left and right, put the implant and do a crown over 3 teeth. I'm happy I didn't do this option.

Dr. Korkis has a forever patient! He really cares about not only your general dental health but making sure you look your best. He's patient, kind, and along with being an artist and a highly skilled dentist, his bedside manner is strong. His office has extended evening and weekend hours and they do their best to fit your schedule. Everyone is the office is friendly, considerate and professional. I'd refer Dr. Korkis and Dental Salon to anyone. (I wouldn't be mad if I never had to see him again though, as much as I like him ).

It takes a lot for me to give 1 star but if I could I would give zero stars! Dental Salon gives Used Car sales people a bad name. They over charged on all our copays and started coming up with unnecessary treatments and refusing to do a cleaning that our dental plan offers until we get all the treatments/surgeries. We have always shown up early to every appointment and have always waited over 30 minutes.

After being over charged multiple times, I reached out to our dental insurance about the copay to make sure it was that expensive! Our insurance company had to call Dental Salon and asked them why they were up charging all of us. Never told us why but we made sure they refunded us for all the money they took from us knowingly. Seems to me they only care about making money in a unscrupulous way.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Do not use Dental Salon they give Used Car sales people a bad name. They over charged on the co pay and refused to give me a cleaning that my dental plan offers. Would only give me the cleaning after I had $764 dollars of work done. Went for a check up and cleaning for the first time at Dental Salon in Schaumburg IL.

Friendly staff to greet you upon arrival. I have a Humana C550 dental plan that has a co pay of $10 the Dental Salon charged $35, also my wife and daughter have been charged $35 in the last three months. I complained to Humana and Humana called the dental office to find out why. I wasn't told why they over charged but they refunded the $25 per person.

It seems like they over charge knowingly. Appointment at 4:20, had 30 minute wait. Dentist did check up left the room and sent in the room, one of the office personal. She told me I needed $764 dollars worth of work before they would do the cleaning. I said I only want the cleaning offered on my dental plan. I was told I don't have any cavities. I also don't have any problems or pains from my teeth. Seems to me the Dental Salon is only about making money in a Unscrupulous way. Do not use Dental Salon!

I'm a big baby when it comes to seeing the dentist, so much so that I tend to put off regular visits. But I can confidently say that Dr Korkis at the Dental Salon has squashed my fears! He was so kind and gentle during my cleaning. He reviewed everything with me and the recommendations that he had, being that I was a new patient. Everyone in the office was friendly from the time that I was greeted at the front desk to the final hygienist who flossed and shined my teeth Wonderful experience here and I would recommend Dr Korkis to anyone looking for a new dentist in the area.

Great place to get dental care and service. Very clean clinic, friendly staff of reception and dental assisttants and outstanding young and professional dentist. I give them a 5/5 rating. Keep up the good work. Thank you for taking care of my dental issues.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Everything seemed to have been going fine until the doctor came in. He was rude, short, and acted like he didn't want to give me the time of day. Without even looking to deeply into my mouth or X-rays, he says I have 4 almost 5 cavities that need to be filled. Which I have routinely gone to the dentist and don't have any cavities so for 4 to show up within 6 months was odd to me.

So as I'm checking out she tells me the total that the cavities will cost and asking me to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. I dont & found another dentist. A trust worthy dentist, I have zero cavities and they were just scamming me for money & unnecessary work on my teeth/mouth. Absolutely ridiculous. Don't not trust this dentist office!

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. Feel that the services they provide are sub par. When having a root canal you sign a waiver. While having the procedure done an instrument that was in my mouth ejected across the room. Neither the dentist or the dental assistant explained what happened or stopped working. After completing the root canal was informed that a file broke and I would need to go to specialist to fix the problem. Another 2 hours and an uncovered procedure costing $300 I had to have the file removed and redo the root canal. Will find another dentist.

I have nothing but good things to say about the dental salon. I came in with excruciating tooth pain. I was fearful because I had not been to a dentist in a long time as a result of having a bad experience I had in the past. The staff was compassionate, caring and understanding. They eased any fears I had. Dr. Korkis is exceptional! Not only is he meticulous in his work but his chair side manner is head and shoulders above.

He takes the time to explain the procedure and what you should expect as he is doing the work. He cares about how you feel and what you are experiencing. He is extremely friendly and makes you feel comfortable. I highly, highly, highly recommend the Dental Salon.

Don't go unless you have endless cash, don't believe in insurance quote transparency & don't care about good dental advice. A joke. Or a perfectly placed "salon" for privileged Lincoln Park clients who don't care if they get bad quotes and advice.

What a pleasant experience today! I have to shamefully say that I have not been the steward in dental health lately and haven't seen a dentist for a bit. I am super anxious and nervous about all dental work even a cleaning due to bad past experiences so I was so dreading to come back. From the start the folks here were so wonderful, James at the front desk made me feel so comfortable and less scared. Jessica B was the dental assistant who also helped me calm down before the doc came in. Dr. Arora was so gentle with my deep cleaning and not to mention the numbing work prior.

It didn't hurt one bit. I was so pleasantly surprised and am not finding reasons to come back. Not to mention the whole treatment plan was super affordable. All in all wow! I'm so glad I found my new go to dentist.

Nice environment, pleasant office and friendly staff and hygienists. I would highly recommend Dr. Gajendrareddy. As a periodontitis, he did an excellent job and was great about educating and explaining the procedure along the way.

They have wonderful availability to accommodate any schedule. I have two jobs so that was super important. They are all very good and knowledgeable. Even though I had to go back to have a second procedure done on the same tooth, they helped me out with the bill. The only thing I would change is the fact that they do not have payment plans. It's pay in full or use their financing. So I ended up having to pay out of pocket about $800 in the last two months. So that was not good. Good thing their work is good.

This was my first visit today, and I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff. When I finally spoke with the dentist he was able to answer all my questions and referred me to a trusting orthodontist. The routine cleaning was quick and painless and I look forward to my next visit. I recommend this location to anyone in the area.

I saw Dr. Choi today for my first visit here. Best experience with a cleaning I've had in years. Nice man, very professional. I'd recommend him to anyone. My 3 year old had his first visit to a dentist also, and he enjoyed the experience.

I can't rave enough about this place! From the staff, to the prime location, to the flexibility of the schedule. I had my first visit this past Monday, and I went in for a consolation about possibility of getting a crown, or a veneer. I had the privilege of having Dr. Javed who was just amazing! He was able to get me in later that evening and put a temporary crown on for me!

They were so accommodating, and friendly. I will be returning, I will also be recommending this office to everyone! I am very pleased! The receptionist Anna was amazing, as well as the gentleman who assisted Dr. Javed with my crown. This is the place to be, and you MUST see Dr. Javed, he even works Sundays! Thank you all. I feel like a million bucks!

This place is an absolute scam. I have already reported them to the Better Business Bureau and I recommend everyone who has similar experiences, some of which are outlined among the numerous negative reviews below, to also file a complaint with the BBB. Businesses who are ran for the purpose of scamming their clientele should be placed out of business and fined.
