Let's face it. No one likes going to the dentist, especially when you have to have a tooth pulled or an implant put in, or anything else majorly invasive. I got a recommendation for Dr. Reese from a friend. Even though he was almost 3 hours from home, I was willing to make the drive for the quality of care that I received. Dr. Reese is the best of both worlds.

He has many years of experience, but is not stuck in his old ways and is willing to do things as naturally as possible without being too quacky. For getting my tooth pulled and implant placed (all in one day), I did not want to use nitrous oxide, so his staff was able to offer Nucalm, a non-drug experience which worked very well to keep me from freaking out while I was having major dental surgery.

As far as the surgery went, I can't stress enough that Dr. Reese knows what he is doing. He even called in the evening after I got home to make sure I was feeling okay. Who does that these days? His staff is also very pleasant and professional. I have been to some places (doctors etc;.) where I was impressed with the knowledge of the practitioner, only to be disappointed by a callous and unprofessional staff.

Such is not the case here. I also enjoyed meeting Dr. Gambill. She is very sweet and also very willing to work with you if you have concerns about conventional dentistry. I have had cavities, etc;. before, but have never had anything as bad as losing a tooth and I am glad I was able to find this place. I would not hesitate to go here again.

There is such an art to a dental implant and Dr. Ted Reese has the gift. From the implant surgery four months to placing the cap on today, my tooth looks and feels like I was born with it. I am so excited that Dr. Reese's talent gave me a wonderful and healthy option in keeping my smile looking great! Thank you Dr. Reese and staff-I am so grateful!

Dr. Reese is a magician! I was so terrified of having a tooth pulled and an implant, but he is so skillful that I felt no pain and barely needed painkillers afterwards. I used ice as directed and had no swelling. I will always come to him for dental work from now on. There is no comparison between my experience with him and previous dentists and oral surgeons! His staff is so responsive too! They were very patient with my millions of questions!

The entire staff and Dr. Reese are awesome. My biggest fear is the dentist but going to them they make you feel comfortable and are very understanding. I can't say enough good about Indianapolis Dentistry. Thank you!

This review is long overdue as I have been seeing Dr. Reese for years. I found him because I had years of trouble with decay and repairs that I wasn't happy with. After my first crown, which was on a front tooth, I became self conscious of my smile. I started looking for someone who didn't use mercury amalgams in their practice and who was a cosmetic dentist.

Both were equally important to me. Dr. Reese fits the bill to the max! I had also developed dental anxiety which Dr. Reese has slowly over the years helped me to be a lot less so. I remind myself that he has NEVER hurt me, even though he has had to be extremely creative in getting/keeping me numb. His office is great and everyone there will do everything they can to make you comfortable. Because of Dr. Reese I LOVE to smile again! Thank you.

I have been searching for a biological holistic dentist for years now, and I hit the jackpot with this dental clinic and their staff! The service was amazing even before we walked through the office doors, and my son loved everyone, even gave hugs to Dr. Reese! Having a dentist I can trust working on my sons teeth is priceless! And their in house insurance saved us a ton!

The thoughtfulness and help of the staff in everything including helping cover cost & financing was truly appreciated! With so many in the medical field looking at your family like a dollar sign instead of person, this offie will give you faith in the medical industry again! It did for me! You will not find a better medical practice!

As a first time patient I was very impressed with Indianapolis Dentistry. The staff was very friendly and engaging, and they took the time to get to know me as a person. Dr. Gambill was very knowledgeable and thorough, and she provided me multiple thoughtful care options. Overall the practice has a truly integrative and holistic approach. My first visit was a great experience!

I had horrible mouth health for years due to a dentist phobia. When I broke a tooth, I went to Dr. Reese for a quote, then a chain dentist for a second opinion. Dr. Reese came in thousands of dollars cheaper and was able to get everything done in 1 procedure, whereas their competitor needed 5 visits at two locations. Dr. Reese was able to save all the rest of my teeth, but the chain dentist wanted to take 6.

The interval between consultation and procedure was very fast I had an implant stud installed and major cleaning, filling and reinforcement, and the entire process was painless and not stressful at all. The following day, there was almost no pain and almost no bleeding. From the second day on my mouth felt great. The outcome of Dr. Reese's treatment could not be better.

The implant is such a good match that today the hygienist did not even realize it wasn't mine at first. They use and recommend a new product, ioRinse molecular iodine mouthwash, as part of their gingivitis regimen, and believe me, this stuff is amazing. Wipes out coronavirus as well. Following Dr. Reese's treatment plan, I have gone from hiding my teeth and dreading the dentist's office to smiling freely with my cleaner, healthier teeth.

My chronic sinus infections have ceased as well. At every visit, they clearly explain what they are seeing and evaluate my progress. The staff here are highly competent, gentle and calming. The atmosphere of the office is welcoming and positive. You will feel well taken care of. They really care about patients' dental health and comfort. A bonus for the gentlemen--all the women who work here are beautiful. If you have failing teeth from an aversion to dental work and you're ready to turn it around, look no further.

The X-ray tech would not use a thyroid guard for my five year old. She argued with me about it for a long time and would not let me get a word in. She said it doesn't matter and it's such low radiation. I'm a registered nurse and know that some machines can be messed up and emitting more, you just never know. It is ALWAYS recommended to wear lead, . especially in growing children. Needless to say, they don't even have lead sizes for kids so I highly discourage you from bringing kids here.

I am friends with a thyroid cancer survivor and this should've been a non issue. It makes me wonder if they even use the lowest radiation possible or what else is being missed in this department. Lastly, the newer doctor saw me and while she was VERY nice, she did not know answers to my questions regarding holistic dental care- the entire reason we paid out of pocket to come.

It was disappointing. I felt these two issues should be made known to others in case you're going there for holistic care (request Dr Reese) and if you're contemplating bringing your children.

I am so happy that I found this office! I have TMJ, but waivered over spending the money on an office visit and an appliance. Finally I decided to make the leap and see someone. I was in a lot of pain, but dreaded spending the money.and what if it didn't help. That was my mindset. Well I did something right when I found Dr. Reese. I am so much better. No pain! I've been in pain for years and it was just getting worse. The number one thing I'm over the moon about. I can yawn! I haven't been able to yawn in years!

My family and I are new to the practice. As a mom, I appreciate not feeling pressured into any treatment or new device. I've been looking for a dentist I can trust, since moving to the Indy area in 2007. I feel as though I have found just that. I do not feel as though Dr. Reese is pushing any specific treatment on myself or my kiddos. This helps me to trust his opinion. I love that this is a family dental practice, which allows me to go back to the room with my children as needed.

Fantastic! So happy to have found this place! We have been searching for the right dentist that understands my daughters fears and concerns and is willing to work in her teeth. Dr. Reese took the time to discuss. every option with my daughter and with me. He was so gentle and kind to her and made sure she was ok with everything. His staff are amazing, definitely go above and beyond to make sure we are all comfortable and fully aware of procedures and payment options! I will be recommending this place to anyone searching for a dentist!

Best experience I've had at the dentist. Love the holistic approach they take to treatment. The staff was very kind, very knowledgeable and they take the time to explain to you what they're doing and why. I'd never had a cleaning so thorough and customized to my needs until going here.

RESPONSE TO OWNER'S REPLY: I am unable to respond to your comment on my review. My response is this: I was in your office multiple times and had no relief. As I mentioned, I could sense the dentist's frustration with me and I still have issues. The comment made by the employee *could* have been addressed but how many times do I have to go back in order to get help with my teeth?

I was in terrible pain. The reason I am reviewing it much later on is because I still have pain every single day. It is a constant reminder of a poor experience. I do appreciate your sentiments. Thank you. Original review: I am not one who dreads the dentist. I was looking for a good dentist in the area after mine retired and a few people referred me to Dr Reese.

I had broken two teeth and sadly, needed crowns. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr Reese was awful. The crowns were extremely painful and after seeing him a handful of times and only being told that my teeth had been bruised and to wait a handful of days to see if they improved, I was in so much pain, I was in tears. The last time I visited his office, I felt so bad that my bite was still off and that I was in pain.

I could read the frustration on the dentist's face. It wasn't until I was leaving and one of his employees made a really rude comment to me that I decided to never return. Sadly, just a little over a year later, my crown has fallen off. It was an absolutely terrible experience for me. I have had intense pain with no resolution (still have extreme sensitivity and cannot eat on that side of my mouth. ), experienced the obvious frustration of the dentist, and was faced with a rude employee. I don't know what you're looking for in a dentist but professionalism, efficiency, and good work is what I was looking for here and I will never return.

Dr Reese and staff wear headsets and talk about other patients when they work on me. It gets confusing because I can't tell if they are talking to me or about someone else. When insurance didn't pay anything on my crown, they said that I was over 90 days past due and set up a payment plan. If it is one day past the due date, they start calling.

My feeling is that they run this practice like a fast paced business and are so interested in money that they don't care about a human approach. I was in much pain after the crown for almost 6 months. Dr thought I needed another crown right away. No way. Going back to my former dentist.
