Dr. Shaw began his dental experience in the USAF working as a laboratory technician for prosthodontic residents at Willford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. After the military, he finished his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and dental school at the University of Tennessee-Memphis Health Care Science.
All professionals at Shoal Creek Prosthodontic Group maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in the medical field. With over 15 years in the dental field, Christina brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience to our office which includes but not limited to General Dentistry, Orthodontics, Endodontics, Oral Surgery, and Prosthodontics. Before managing offices in Texas and Maryland she was a registered dental assistant.

I have never felt as comfortable and welcome as I do in this dental office. Dr Shaw and his staff are very professional and I really do appreciate them. An excellent team for an amazing doctor takes amazing people and they definitely exceeded that role. My mother is also a patient too so it's a family thang' lol

I was referred to Dr Shaw by a friend, and I've been seeing Dr Shaw for a couple of years now. I just go in for routine cleanings, but my understanding is that he is qualified for much more complicated cases. Dr Shaw is very personable, and I always feel comfortable speaking with him. I was surprised to see a reviewer criticize Dr Shaw - he seems to be humbler, more customer-focused, and least money-focused, compared to any medical practitioner I deal with.
If you had to press for a criticism, maybe someone would say his office is not luxurious and fancy, but to me I like the more comfortable feeling. His staff are some of the nicest staff I have run into, in any medical office I've been.

I had a great experience with Dr. Shaw and Shoal Creek Prosthodontics. The team is friendly, welcoming and professional, and Dr. Shaw has a great bedside manner. I was comfortable the entire time. I went in for a routine cleaning and exam, but I know he has extensive credentials when it comes to the prosthodontics aspect of dentistry. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great general dentist or a specialist.
