Services
Our office maintains complete oral health in a toxic free atmosphere. Dr. Wilke is a biologic, holistic, alternative and mercury safe dentist who's main objective is to do no harm to patients by knowingly placing any materials into them that will cause harm, like mercury amalgam fillings, nickel beryllium metals, and performing procedures such as root canals, while also safely removing these materials placed from old dental work.
Dr. Paul Wilke has been in practice at Total Mouth Fitness in San Antonio since 1999. While Dr. Wilke has focused primarily on general dentistry in the past, he has continually updated his skills and knowledge, thereby broadening his client base through orthodontics and performing toxic-free dentistry.
We love and appreciate our staff! They have chair side expertise and will be happy to answer any question you might have about your dental care. Our awesome front office is led by our Office Manager, Cindy who has been with us since 2012. In addition, Sharon, our Scheduling Coordinator, came on full time in 2014 and holds a BS degree in Health from Texas A&M.
Dr. Wilke will perform a comprehensive exam, consisting of an overall evaluation of the patient's oral cavity. Dr. Wilke will review the x-rays and discuss findings and his recommendations with the patient. Our office manager will comprise a treatment plan based on Dr. Wilke's recommendations. The treatment plan will include the treatment recommended, the number of visits needed to accommodate the patient's needs and the cost associated with each visit.Since most patients have not seen a dentist in a long time, it is better to wait for Dr. Wilke to complete his exam and at that time he will let you know what type of cleaning is needed.

Dr. Wilke I can say saved my life. I was dealing with PTSD undiagnosed at the time. I had ground down past the teeth to a couple of metal fillings. He paid attention to what I told him. I had already seen 3 other dentist and the UT Health Science center dentist, and continued to have health issues and loosing teeth. I was going to be diagnosed with Lupus when I found Dr. Wilke.
Who discovered it was all happening due to the mercury and grinding. He help detox my mouth and my health began improving. Thank. You Dr Wilke for such great care. And your staff is wonderful too.

In the age of "modern medicine", it is becoming increasingly difficult to find medical professionals who take their patients seriously, and are willing to address the underlying causes of systemic medical conditions. Dr. Wilke and his team are there to help, and I'm grateful to be a patient at their practice.

You guys are by far the most professional dental services in Central Texas region. I never waited to be seen. I love the Christian music. I love how Dr Wilke chatters while performing procedures. You guys explained everything to me in detail. My crown was placed in one day - amazing. My mouth is healthier than ever with no mercury fillings. Thank you!

I've had numerous dental procedures in my life, and my worst experiences by far were with Dr. Wilke. I would not recommend this dental office to anyone. I left twice in tears, once downright sobbing. When the Dr. (as another dentist explained to me later) in all probability hit a nerve in giving me numbing medication, the pain was very intense and I spontaneously began to cry.
When I could not express what the problem was, Dr. Wilke proceeded to insult me for not responding (I was trying to catch my breath) and continue working. A completely awful experience.

It would not let me post a review. This is what I wanted to post. I have always hated the whole dentist experience but after one visit at Total Mouth Fitness I would not ever go anywhere else!
