Dr. Schaefer grew up in Muncie, then graduated from North Central High School in Indianapolis before graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University, Bloomington in 1980. He became a Doctor of Dental Surgery, graduating from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1984. He has been serving the dental health care needs of Indianapolis area families for the past 23 years.
How can I prevent tooth decay and gum disease? Maintaining dental health has two main components--at-home dental hygiene and professional cleanings and examinations. Thorough brushing (twice daily), proper flossing, and regular dental visits are the key ingredients to a lifetime of good oral health.

Dr. Schaefer and his staff have always been professional and on top of things with my dental care. They are proactive and very accomodating with appointments. He has been my dentist for over 20 years. Today, he took great care of me and his safety precautions with the Covid-19 pandemic were superb! I felt safe and got the work done that I needed.

I absolutely LOVE my dentist and his awesome staff! They're always caring, supportive, and gentle during any procedures I've had. (Although the gas definitely helps! LOL) Thank you Dr. Schaefer, the front desk ladies (Kirsten, you rock!), the assistants and hygienist (Lisa, you rock!). You guys and gals are the best. I highly recommend them for your dental care needs. :)

Everyone here is so patient with me, even though I have a lot of anxiety around going to the dentist. I was able to get in quickly due to pain and the entire team was willing to squeeze me in. Theyre all both kind and professional. I love that appointments can be scheduled via email and that they use new technology in their office. Highly recommended.
