Services
Dental implants can be used to replace a single tooth, a few teeth, or all the teeth on one or both arches of the mouth. Unlike bridges or dentures, dental implants are placed into and fused with the bone in your jaws.

Cristina used to work for Dr. Moini a long time ago. She was always a very kind person. She was an amazing assistant and helped Dr. Moini with his practice. She always worked very hard and made every patient feel comfortable and welcomed throughout their stay. She is incredibly hard working and it's a shame she doesn't work for this practice anymore. Dr. Moini is also very passionate and energetic about his work.

This office is definitely the place to go. Dr. Moini, Gloria and Maria are all so welcoming and professional and the office is always very clean. I'd avoided the dentist for years before I finally made an appointment here. They laid out a clear treatment plan and were always flexible with scheduling. I'd recommend to anyone!

Dr. Moini is the kindest, most gentle dental medical doctor I have ever seen. Gloria and Maria make me feel welcome every time I come in and I wish I could be with this team forever! I first came to Dr. Moini after seeing an ENT for pain in my head and jaw. The doctor quickly realized I was suffering from TMJ and needed to see a specialist. She referred me to Dr. Moini and I am so grateful. Dr. Moini prescribed a night guard splint and that helped rectify all of my pain.
He discovered that my bite was off and I would need orthodontic treatment. He referred me to Dr. Thariani and he was yet another kind and thorough specialist! I finished the orthodontic treatment and had another night guard made. Unfortunately, the guard needed more work than was anticipated and Dr. Moini had another guard made at no charge. His practice is truly excellent.
He cares about all of his patients and wants nothing but the best for every single person. I wish I could take this office with me throughout my life journeys but alas their home is in D.C. If you need a prosthodontist, look no further than Dr. Moini. You will be so glad you did.

Dr. Moini is truly a man with two hats. He is a health care provider but more important or just as importantly, he is interested in every patient's health. Keeping in mind that good health is a 24/7/365 effort for all of us. Dr. Moini makes sure that when you leave his office, you know how to care for your teeth, your mouth and your gums on a day to day basis. Dr. Moini takes the time to educate his patients on what to do to make sure that we can keep the teeth health and happy.
He certainly is a master at taking care of problems but I have found in the 24 years that he has a talent in making sure that we are brushing, flossing, rinsing, bite guards and whatever else we need to make sure that we can eat what we want for the rest of our lives. As all of us baby boomers get older, we are much more conscious of being able to continue to eat a good steak, corn on the cob and salad when we want it and to be able to eat and apple off the core.
Oh how delicious it is. If we don't care for our teeth as Dr. Moini teaches us, we will never be able to do this and our life would be less rich. As far as I am concerned, he is the best there is in the DC market. And as someone else said when he cannot make the repairs that need to be made, he has someone equally good to refer his patients. But, we always come back to him. Thanks for your help over the years, Dr. Moini. Patsy T.

Dr. Moini is a very gentle and thoughtful doctor who took his time and explain everything in detail. My daughter was referred to him by another doctor because she was having bad jaw pain. He assured us that she did Not need surgery which was suggested by another doctor in the Baltimore area. He made a splint for her to wear when she was at home and sleeping and after only a few weeks she was pain free!
He was 100% right with his diagnosis and treatment! I would recommend him to anyone! What I learned, is Always get a second opinion when it comes to jaw issues especially if surgery is suggested!

My husband and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Dr. Moini (a friend's referral) many years ago. He is a remarkably skilled prosthodontist - truly, other dentists who see our crowns (many!) remark on how "beautiful" they are and in some cases recognize them as Dr. Moini's work. Beyond that, he is truly dedicated to making his patients comfortable and dealing at the highest professional level with their dental issues.
He will stick with you until everything is right and has the skills/facilities to make many device adjustments that others would send out to an external lab. The office is serene and the staff interested in each patient's comfort and satisfaction. Going to the dentist isn't fun, but this is as good as it gets. Count this as two 5 star reviews - one for me, one for my husband who expressed total agreement with the above.

I have been a patient of Dr. Moini for 17 years, and he has helped my dental problems since then. I highly recommend him; his office staff is very kind; and what I like especially is that Dr. Moini calls you during the evening of your procedures. He is a gentle man who explains everything in detail, and if he cannot help you he will recommend you to the right person.
