I've been going here since I had teeth and everyone is so friendly. The hygienists always remember me and what I do and where I was planning on going on vacation, so they can ask about it next time. They are also the only dentist office I've been to that diagnosed me with and accepted my anesthesia allergies without trying to give me what I'm allergic to saying they don't believe it. They are great billing insurances and getting the primary and secondary billed in order. And the hours are wide open too.

Major lack of communication between staff and patient. I thought I was going in for an issue to be fixed. Four appointments later, and my issue is worse. I had to make an emergency appointment yesterday morning (8:30am) which was cancelled 45 minutes before the appointment (5pm) because the dentist they scheduled me with wouldn't know what to do for my issue.
So we rescheduled for next day at 4:30. When I got there at 4:27 I was told my appointment was at 4 and I was late and I had to reschedule again. For an emergency tooth. I have wasted 16 hours of my sick time at work making my tooth issue worse. They have little respect for their patient's time and their communication skills are poor.

I had a simple tooth repair that was supposed to have been easy and my front tooth which the veneer broke off was not taken care of by Dr Gilmore properly at all. Dentistry 101 teaches how to not replace a half a tooth with a temporary Bond but to cover the whole tooth or replace the hole fixture and I had to go to another place just to get taken care of and going to you be dental help me a lot.
Even the student and teachers at UB dental was surprised at the the bad job that Dr Gilmore did on my tooth and expected me to pay 1300 for her to put a crown on my tooth which did not need a crown and I'm glad I got second opinion and third opinion because she does not know how to do her job properly and she will rather charge you and do a shabby job and or destroy your tooth into a shabby job then giving you the correct treatment or the correct plan of fixing a good tooth instead of destroying the tooth to put a crown on I would never use her again or Western New York dental group again they cost too much just for whatever it is that you need and then they want you to pay extra on everything else that should have been done during the time that you were there.

Good dentist and hygienist. However.it seems that all of a sudden my families teeth have decayed overnight. Let me explain. Our previous dentist of 15 years never upsold us on anything! All of a sudden my wife needs $4000 of work. I only need $3000 of work. Constantly selling us a tube of floride treatment for only $25. Imagine if we didn't have dental insurance! Or is it because we have dental insurance?

Friendly staff and competent dentists. One problem. I went in to get a crown put in after root canal. Crown did not fit and had to be sent back. Not a problem. I waited for a long time to hear back about the crown. Didn't hear back. I called last Friday to see if the crown had come back in. Said they would get back to me. Today is Thursday, almost a week after I called. I called back, they put me on hold and checked, and said yes, crown came in. Why do I have to be the one following up on this?

I always have a great experience with Western New York Dental in West Seneca. Amy my dental hygienist is friendly, efficient and very thorough. She found a tiny cavity just starting and they scheduled me the very next day to remove it. The dentist did an excellent job taking care of my tooth. She was gentle and very efficient. Overall an outstanding experience.

Went in for X-Rays so I could get my wisdom teeth removed. My appointment was 50 minutes before they actually took me back. They then told me every mark on the X-Ray was a cavity (I had gone to my regular dentist the day before for a teeth cleaning). The following week I went to another Dentist office closer to my home for a second opinion and they also said there were no cavities.
This place is defiantly out for your money and they have little to no experience in the dental field. I will never return. I'd rather drive the hour and 25 minutes to my regular dentist than come back to this facility!

My son is a patient of Dr. Fersztman's and we are extremely impressed. He and his entire office staff are excellent, they are so helpful and accommodating. Tracy is just fabulous. Our entire family are also patients of Dr. Littman's and the dental side of the office is just as great as the ortho side. We love WNY Dental and highly recommend the practice to anyone!

I was very happy with Dr Katz and his wonderful assistant, Rosanne. I had a chipped tooth and had wanted to switch dentists so I thought I would call and they got me in the next day. The procedure was absolutely painless and my tooth looks great. Very happy I decided to make this move - highly recommend

I have been a patient at the Harlem Road, West Seneca office for about 1 year and am satisfied with their dental services. I have experienced issues with billing as the office does not do their own and bills are sent from Missouri. Approximately 3-4 months after my initial visits I began to receive bills stating that I owed over $200 even though the office participates with my insurance.
After phoning the West Seneca office repeatedly when statements threatened a collections referral, and being told that I owed the balance, I paid the amount. Then, I reviewed the statements again and realized that they indicated that my insurance had paid the claim IN FULL. The staff at the office then again reviewed my account and admitted that I was due a refund. 6 weeks after that, I was finally reimbursed. Recently, I became aware that the dentist I was seeing had left the practice.
No notice of this had been sent to me. I made an appointment to see her at the office she moved to and phoned WNY dental to cancel upcoming my appointment. It was explained that I had chosen to follow the dentist I had previously seen. Two weeks later, I received a call from the hygienist to confirm the appointment that I had called to cancel. Considering the billing procedures of this office & the miscommunication between staff, I am confident that it is best for me to choose a different dental practice even though it is not as conveniently located.

I have been there for years. My doctor is Dr. Katz and I highly recommend him. I went to see a dentist in another country and was told I need two root canals then I went to see Dr. Katz, he helped me avoid it with normal filling. Also, I was told I need to do deep cleaning (500$), and Dr. Katz said I can do debridement (120$) (something like that, don't quite remember) and normal cleaning (covered by insurance). He is also very nice and explain my every question.
